Quick Take: non-sticky, moisturizing, great shine
I stumbled upon this brand one day in my local Sephora and am now a fan. This gloss is fabulous. It wears very well and lasts for a long time. The color and shine are amazing and it doesn't have that tackiness that some glosses' leave on your lips. It also has a minty scent/taste, at first I was adverse to it but now that I am used to it, it has become pretty subtle.

Quick Take: non-sticky, moisturizing
I actually received this product free from a friend. It's a natural, non-sticky shine that has a really lovely glow to it. I like the minty scent and that the color is a light hue. The best thing about this product is that I have noticed an improvement in the quality of my lips since using it. Although it doesn't last long on the lips, it has smoothed fine lines and made the skin super soft...super helpful after a long winter. BUT, 20 bucks is a lot for a little tube of this stuff. If you got the cash, I say go for it...if not, get the rosebud in a tube instead.

I ordered the color #9 and it barely showed when on. Also it wasn't thick enough so it didn't stay on long at all. Wouldn't recommend this gloss.

Quick Take: non-sticky
this has high shine, which i loved, and some nice sheer colors. i ended up layering the fuschia one with a nars lipstick, which looked great. it was definitely high shine without stickiness, which was awesome.
i did find it to be a bit drying too, and i wasn't really in need of a gloss, so i did end up returning it to save a bit of money.

I love Make Up For Ever, especially their lip glosses. Never sticky. I've also been looking for a great red gloss which is hard to find. It doesn't bleed and the red is beautiful.

Quick Take: minty
I loved how this looked in the store! Punch of pink color but sheer at the same time, and glossy. Top that with a pepperminty tingle and it is everything I have been looking for. HOWEVER, apparently you have to be in a certain kind of lighting (as in the light hitting your lips) for this color to show up as well (which is I guess why some of these reviews mention now the absence of color). The worst part that really got me is that this gloss REALLY dries your lips out in the Winter. I'd read that too, but since it did not happen the first day, I assumed it was just something that those reviewers noticed and was not caused by the gloss itself. Having sadi that, money is not wasted on this purchase, jsut go into it knowing that you won't be able to wear it all day every day without wearing something different (and more soothing) in between wears. And no, the color is not going to look like what is in the tube but rather much more sheer (but still a great shade).

The color looks shocking in the tube but when put on is a very nice shade of pink and isnt nearly as bright. It is thick and stays on well, and has a nice minty smell and taste

This stuff is great- It has a nice minty flavor, it's super moisturizing, not too thick, and not at all sticky. I love it- maybe a little pricey, but overall really nice. The color I have is #4, which looks super bright, but it's sheer enough to add just the right amount of color to my lips.

LOVE any lip products that are mint-flavored. There aren't enough of them.
This gloss lasts forever (in the tube) - a little goes a long way, the color is sheet and even, it's decently moisturizing, feels great when it's on....
It just doesn't stay on my lips for very long. Seems I reapply CONSTANTLY. And I'm not a big lip-licker, it just doesn't seem to have much staying power.
That said - it smells good, the flavor is great, it's good on my delicate (prone to chapping) lips.
I'd buy it again.

Exactly what I wanted. I asked a sales rep and she suggested this.. I bought it warily and after I tried it, I was hooked. The description above says it all. Light, non-sticky, long lasting and moisturizing. It also has a good flavor :)

I've purchased the #8 and definitely plan to buy more... I look in magazines and want that vinyl ultra-glossy glam look, but lipstick falls short and gloss doesn't have enough color. Throw this on over any lipstick and you have that perfect mirror shine. It makes your lips look plumper and you're sure to turn heads :)

For years I've been searching for a good lip gloss, and this is about as good as it gets. I'm not into flavors....and this one does what I want it to do......feels smooth, and gives the look I want.....also lasts longer than most, and I find it keeps my lips from getting chapped.

I just love this lip gloss. It looks super shiny and even if I put it on by itself, it has a really nice color. (Some lipglosses look pretty in the bottle but once they're on my lips it looks clear. Not the case here.) And the best part is that it's not sticky!

I love this gloss bc its not sticky and when you put it on you really dont need much. which means it will last you a long time...the color is sheer.it has just a hint of color and on the plus side it feels moisturizing and very minty.

I'll admit that when it comes to lipgloss I usually stick to a couple of other brands (Dior, Givenchy, Nars) and when it comes to incredibly moisturizing lip balms with some shine, my go to is Smith's Rosebud. However, I couldn't resist trying this product in Moulin Rouge. It feels lovely on my lips and they do stay very moisturized. The color is there, but truthfully, I'm not seeing a vibrarnt red when I put it on. It looks somewhat bright and then after about 10 mints the color seems to just look natural or even somewhat light red but totally beautiful on my lips. I did notice that others were saying they didn't see a shine and it didn't last long. I'm not one to argue with anyone regarding make up especially lip gloss because you never know if people are drinking water, just putting it on and going to bed, or throwing it on and running out the door and not licking your lips a lot of taking tons of sips of water, etc. I have found that this DOES stay on my lips for quite some time-overnight moisture treatment 6 hours and they're still glossy when I wake up, taking drinks at dinner, about an hour if that-same as any gloss. The mint flavor is a massive plus compared to my Dior Kiss Gloss that I loved in a red color but it tasted like strawberries. The cons to this product would be the size of the tube. Maybe I'm just used to using Urban decay's XXX shine or Smith's in a tube, but this is a pretty small tube for the price. It you want to try the glosses, maybe the set of 3 would be a better value instead of buying each for $19 since you might fall in love with it just like I did. One other thing, the first time you use it, squeeze it onto a towel so that the clear gel comes out and you'll always get color after that. Sorry this is so long!

Quick Take: watery, not shiny, not pigmented, minty
I got a sample of the #1 cherry red in store, and I'm not too impressed with this gloss. It isn't sticky but that's because it is watery. If you put only a little bit on it won't run off your lips, but you get no color or shine. If you try to put more on for color/shine, it ends up running off your lips and stains your skin a bit. The gloss does have a nice minty feel, but I wouldn't pay full price or use this gloss just for the mintiness.
