I use this brush to create a shade on my cheekbones with my makeup forever pan stick. I love how high quality this brush is! I wish Makeup Forever would make more brushes.

HD Brush
-03.16.13
Quick Take: soft bristles, easy to use, flawless finish
I never used liquid foundation or a foundation brush until yesterday. I am glad I got this before it went out of stock. Since I don't have anything to compare it to I can't say it is the very best because I have no way of knowing that at the present time but I think it is a great brush. Either I just did really well applying foundation for the first time or this brush works great ;) It went on perfectly, no streaking, great coverage.
I felt a little leery using it because previously I was used to only applying make up with my fingers, so I FEEL that coverage happening but with this brush I could SEE it so I know it was doing the trick. It seemed stiff when I first took it out to use it but it actually feels very nice on my skin. I felt like I was painting my face (guess that is what you are doing with foundation though, right?).
I gave it 4 stars because it works really well but knocked off one for the price being a bit too high.

a keeper
-02.07.12
Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles
I was looking for a brush to apply liquid and cream blush. The one I was using just wasn't cutting it. Honestly, when I first saw this I was kinda dissapointed cause it looked cheap, considering the price. However, in use, this is pretty great. I don't have anything that can beat it, and trust me I'm looking. The only reason I knocked a star off was for the cost, which I still think is a little high.

Good Brush!
-08.25.11
Quick Take: soft bristles
I just started using a foundation brush, and this one is really good. It makes it so easy to apply my foundation, and there are NEVER any lines from the bristles. I don't think I could ever go back to using a sponge again.

Not impressed
-07.03.11
Quick Take: soft bristles
this brush has the right type of design for applying make-up with ease, but i have 1 major problem with it. there's like 10 brush hairs (not literally, but you get me). i was hoping it would be fuller, but it actually turned out being more sparse than the foundation brush i already have from a drugstore. the bristles are really soft..but i'm not impressed with the overall feel of it. this brush is more for concealing dark circles rather than an entire face.

HD Brush 30N
-05.28.11
Quick Take: synthetic hair
I bought the HD foundation and bought the brush too as it has synthetic "hairs" as apposed to "natural". I found that the application of the HD foundation did not differ with either type brush. This is a fine brush, but if you have a nice foundation brush already this one is not needed for HD make up. However, if you do not have a foundation brush, I would highly recommend this one. I find applying foundation with a brush gives a more even finish over my fingers or a sponge and makes building/layering a breeze.

A fantastic foundation brush, a must have in anyone's make up tool kit. Does not shed and there are no bristle marks on the applied foundation. Easy to clean, does not waste any foundation.

An AMAZING Brush!
-05.05.11
Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles, durable, long-lasting, flawless finish, easy to use, easy to clean, perfect size, expensive but worth it, great quality, fast application
I've applied liquid foundation with my fingers for years, so I was a little weirded out by the idea of painting it on my face with a brush like this. But the rave reviews of how much better foundation can look when applied with a brush combined with my not wanting the oils in my fingers to affect my complexion convinced me I should at least try a good foundation brush. I bought this one and I'm SO pleased with it! I'll never go back to applying foundation with my fingers again!
This brush is the ideal size for applying liquid foundation; it's large enough so that applying and blending foundation takes me half the time it used to. The bristles are soft, but tough enough to not bend the wrong way or shed. The brush is easy to clean too, and it's lasted me a month so far and still works great. My foundation really does look so much better--it looks smooth and absolutely flawless! At first this seemed to me like a lot to pay for a brush. But for a flawless finish and quicker application, the price is certainly worth it. I will definitely be buying another one once mine gets old.

best brush for this HD make up
-04.17.11
Quick Take: perfect for me
This is the only brush I found that works the best for me. I like the weight and the brush part itself. I don't know if there are others out there that can compare-- but I can say I'm happy with it.

It's one of the best ones I've tried thus far. I don't like that it seems to soak up too much foundation, but I like its size and how firm the bristles are.

My first foundation brush & I'm in love!
-10.12.10
Love this brush. It is expensive and I wasn't sure why I bought it after I ordered it; I've never spent this much on one brush. I usually applied liquid foundation with my fingers, but experimented with a sponge for a short amount of time before trying this brush. It is so easy and quick to apply foundation, leaves no streaks, and the brush is easy to clean. I haven't tried other foundation brushes so I don't know how it compares, if a less expensive brush performs as well. This works well for me though and I'm not going back to fingers or sponges ever again!!

Great Brush
-07.29.10
This brush does an amazing job at applying the HD Invisible Cover Foundation. It doesn't leave a streaky look like some foundation brushes do. It's the perfect size for applying foundation quickly and evenly.

Great coverage
-04.30.10
This is a great tool for applying your liquid foundation. It gives great coverage and keeps your hands clean. The only down side is that it can be a bit tedious washing the brush. The makeup in the base and center of the brush are very hard to wash out. (Maybe it is just my cleanser?)

Great brush!
-04.18.10
Quick Take: soft bristles
This brush is well worth the purchase. I use it for my MUFE HD Foundation and it literally makes the foundation disappear into my skin. No streaking, no extra blending required. Foundation goes on smoothly and helps blend into hard to reach areas around the nose and eyes. Would definitely recommend.
