So Disappointing - Strips Eyelashes & Doesn't Curl

Quick Take: sad, over priced, useless
I bought this thinking I would be fancy and invest in a nice curler.
I used it as I normally do in my eyelash routine - which includes curling my eyelashes after I apply mascara. I know this is normally a no-no, however, I apply mascara and wait about 5 minutes before using the curler (to let the mascara dry). I've never had problems with curlers stripping off massive mascara before, but the Tweezerman stripped off half of my mascara (not hyperbole) and DID NOT curl my lashes...it actually made them clumped and flat...
...So I returned it the next day.

Quick Take: easy to use
I have used many eyelash culers, including Shu umera which would pinch my skin. This is by far the best I have used. I have short lashes & for me it grasps every last little lash, even well into the corners, without pinching at all!

Quick Take: to small
I used to have the silver version of this item until I lost it. This gold one wasn't quite the same though, it's smaller than the old one bc it doesn't open up as wide. I had a hard time fitting my lashes in between the clamp. If you have longer lashes and a wider eye this probably won't work for you. I think this will work better for shorter lashes and smaller eyes. I returned it and replaced it with the shiseido one instead and that one seemed to work better.

Quick Take: awesome, doesn't pinch
I heard that Shu Umera was the best eyelash curler however this tweezerman is way better. I like this one, Shu Umera pinches my skin ib the inside of my eyes and it pinches my lids, the tweeserman doesn't it is a very good eyelash curler. It comes w several rubber gaurds too.

Quick Take: affordable (somewhat), easy using, does its job
I've had this eyelash curler for awhile and it honestly does the job curling my lashes! Although while curling it today, the side of the curler snapped. :( Good price I guess since I've used it for awhile.

I was so crushed to find out Shu Uemura's eyelash curlers are no longer being sold in the US. Luckily I had stockpiled a few, but needed to replace my last one recently. This one does the job, but isn't a 5 star like Shu Uemura's was.

Quick Take: easy to use, gentle
I have never used an eyelash curler before so I thought I would give it a try. This curler is simple to use and opens eyes up. I have even stopped wearing mascara in the daytime (my eyelashes are pretty long already). I would recommend this to anyone looking to buy an eyelash curler.

Hard to Squeeze, Curl Doesn't Last

Quick Take: not very effective
Well, I got this after returning my Shiseido curler (see that review). I had had the cheaper $12 Tweezerman curlers previously and they worked ok but then pooped out quickly. Reluctantly I tried this more expensive one.
I was disappointed. It's very hard to squeeze and the curl just doesn't last at all. I'll sadly be returning yet another item to Sephora. Thank goodness the return policy is stellar.

I have owned several eyelash curlers. This is the best that I have owned. It is easy to use and does not pull my lashes. My lashes are curled beautifully after using this curler. I love it!!

I had to return this curler. It was the worst out of the 5 that I've tried. It did not curl my lashes and it pinched my skin. Worst curl ever (if you can even call it a curl).
