Quick Take: sheer coverage, contains SPF, lightweight, evens out skin tone
I do NOT like foundation, so when I opened my sample of this moisturizer, I was skeptical. It's thicker than any other tinted moisturizer I've ever tried. Once I rubbed it in, I changed my mind. My skin got a little coverage, but it only felt like I had a moisturizer on my skin (which I liked). I can see a visible difference in the appearance of my skin, it looks very even with this product. I ordered it in the Ivory which works well with my light skin tone. It's expensive, but one pump of product is enough for my face and neck, so I think it will last quite a while.
This is nice and creamy and makes my skin look flawless. While it is heavier than what I am used to it feel very light on my skin. The only downside is that it only comes in about 4 different shades and I was right between two. I ended up going with the lighter shade and do a little dusty of bareminerals over the top.

When I tried to use this product as a moisturizer, I felt like it was too much and made my face look a teeny bit greasy and moist. With this moisturizer, a little bit goes a long way, so you can get good use of it in a lot of ways.
One way I wear it, is I dab a little by little on the highlights of my face, and use a foundation brush to smooth it all in. So, in this case, I use it as a foundation. Gives me good enough coverage (b/c I hate strong concealers/foundations) and a slight sheen.
Another way I use it, is I push down the pump 3/4 of the way on my hand. Then I take the buki brush I have, and swirl the brush into the foundation, and then buff it onto my skin as the last thing I do on my makeup routine. This gives my skin a nice glow on the highlights of my face and makes it also look slightly dewy.
this product is great, i mixed it with my moisturuzer bc i felt like it was a bit dark for me. it looks beautiful, the one thing is, i was given the light beige as a sample and i think that even that is a bit dark for non-olive skinned. I will have to try the lightest shade.
I rec'd this as a sample in Light Beige. I have an olive complexion & this color was perfect. This is a great tinted moisurizer. I don't wear foundation. I didn't use this instead of my moisturizer. I used it like a foundation. It is sheer and light. A wonderful product. I wish it wasn't so pricy.
this product is as moisturizing as it is covering. it covers like a foundation but leaves none of the caked-on looks that some foundations are prone and know to do. i recommend this to anyone looking for something to even out mild-moderate blochey or acne-prone skin. top it with a light powder (though not necessary) and you will have the skin you're dreaming of having. A+
Texture is on the thicker side, but there's no weird smells like some tinted moisturizers. It goes on evenly but the shades run a little bit dark for fair skin tones. I still really like it though - it's become part of my daily routine. The best advice I can give is to actually go to Sephora and try it out.
I adore this product!!! It is so sheer and silky and is just enough coverage to even out my skin tone without looking like I'm actually wearing any makeup. Best of all, the moisturizer base gives my complexion a dewey finish. This is my can't live without item in my makeup bag. Hands down the best non-foundation I've ever used.
I tried this product while in the store and loved it. It was a great match for my skin tone ( #2 color). I bought it and took it home only to find it had an expiration date on it, that expired in 1 month.... I live 30 miles from the store, and was very disappointed to have to turn around and return it the next day...This product is very expensive and should have had a longer expiration date than 1 month. I also bought the foundation which had been opened and when I took the lid off it had foundation all over the inside of the lid....I was very upset and returned all 4 of the hour glass products I had bought....

I absolutely love this tinted moisturizer. Yes it does have more coverage but it looks so natural. After an hour of putting it on, it looks even better. You get this wonderful glow without adding glitter to your face. It does not accentuate the wrinles or crow's feet wich is perfect! Yes it is pricey but only a little goes a long way! Try and you will love it! Go one shade lighter. I have light/olive skin and I wear the light beige which is perfect.
1/2 a squirt is enough dab under eyes, cheeks and forehead to give light, even and radiant coverage. I have never been so pleased with a liquid foundation that reflects so well, without looking "pearlescent" or "over-reflective". Usually if a foundation is too shiny it enhances wrinkles and flaws. This looks bright but realistic and I am thoroughly pleased.
This is a nice product. Lovely shimmery/glowing effect but not glittery. I wear bare minerals medium beige for light to medium skin and it's the perfect shade. The light in this product is definitely too dark. I have returned the product and will possibly try the lightest shade. In the meantime, I am between Cargo concealor/foundation wand (shade #2) and Laura Mercier kit with secret camouflage, foundation primer and tinted moisturizer in nude. Works better for my skin in the winter months and I will go back to bare minerals in the summer.
This is a great product. It's more like a foundation, not a tinted moisturizer. Wrinkles and fine lines seem to blur away. Nice texture. Not heavy...nice and smooth. I will continue to use this. It's the best base I've found in a long time (and I've tried EVERYTHING!).

I received a sample of this in light beige with an online order. It covers and conceals better than other tinted moisturizers I've tried (Laura Mercier, Stila, and Benefit). Best of all, it didn't seem to disappear like others do when I went for a walk. The color was a little dark (I'm fair to light right now), but it almost seemed to melt into my skin after a while. Still, I will have to try a lighter color. Great product, though!!!
I don't have a lot of time to deal with makeup in the morning. I love that I can use this tinted moisturizer in the morning, go on easy, one step, doesn't make me break out.
I got this as a sample after an online purchase. I've alwasy been hesitant to use tinted moisturizer until now. I LOVE it and works perfect in this dry winter weather.
This moisturizer covers as well as a liquid foundation, but without the caked-on look. You can still see your skin through the product, and can use a sheer powder on top (like Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil) for a finished look....or you can wear it alone. It does run a little dark, I have a light/medium skin tone and bought the Light Beige, which is the second from lightest shade. Try and get an in-store sample b/f you buy, or if in doubt, go lighter! It stays on well and lasts all day....5 stars!!!!! Also, I have sensitive/acne prone skin, and no breakouts from the product after 1month of use!
I bought the light beige & I can't figure out why everyone thinks it's too dark!? I have light skin, a bit ruddy though, & this color looks great on me! I adore this makeup! A little goes a looong way! And it's so sheer. My fine lines seem blurred. Definitely worth the $!
