PERRRRFECTION

Quick Take: soft bristles, synthetic hair
ABSOLUTELY PERFECT
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS BRUSH FOR 10 YEARS
TRAVEL FRIENDLY
MULTI-PURPOSE
CONCEALER, FOUNDATION, CREAM PRODUCTS, & EVEN POWDERS!!!
HIGH QUALITY
DURABLE
THROW IT IN YOUR BAG, WITHOUT RUING THE LINING
EXTREMELY TRAVEL FRIENDLY, DOESN'T OPEN IN YOUR BAG EVEN WHEN A MILLION OTHER PRODUCTS ARE RUBBING AGAINST IT
DOESN'T SHED
SUPER SOFT
EASILY WIPE EXCESS PRODUCT OFF AND IT'S READY FOR A FRESH APPLICATION OR
THE NEXT TIME YOU NEED IT
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY
DOESN'T STIFFEN UP AFTER USING LIQUID OR CREAM PRODUCTS, LIKE FOUNDATION OR CONCEALER, BECAUSE YOU SIMPLY WIPE OFF EXCESS PRODUCTS THEN REPLACE THE CAP SO AIR DOESN'T HARDEN ANY LEFT OVER PRODUCT
SPECIFICALLY SINCE THE BRISTLES ARE SUPER SOFT, HIGH QUALITY SYNTHETIC BRISTLES WHICH ARE HYPO-ALLERGENIC, EASY TO CLEAN WITHOUT SHEDDING
AND
CAP MECHANISM IS DURABLE AND EXCELLENTLY MANUFACTURED THEREFORE DOES NOT LOOSEN IN AN OVER-STUFFED PURSE
AGAIN, MAKING IT SUPER TRAVEL FRIENDLY WHILE STILL BE ELEGANT ENOUGH TO DISPLAY ON THE VANITY
LOVE AT FIRST TOUCH
AND
UTTERLY WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY
ALSO
BLENDS EFFORTLESSLY
LARGE AND PUFFY ENOUGH TO APPLY LOOSE FINISHING, SETTING, OR MINERAL POWDER EFFORTLESSLY,
YET,
DENSE AND FIRM ENOUGH TO BLEND LIQUID OR CREAM FOUNDATION OR COLOR ONTO THE ENTIRE SURFACE AREA OF THE FACE, AND
SMALLER, MORE FOCUSED AREAS LIKE UNDER THE EYE OR APPLES OF THE CHEEK
I USED THIS BRUSH WITH MY LAURA MERCIER UNDERCOVER POT, WHICH CONSIST OF A VELVETY LOOSE FINISHING SETTING POWDER
IT'S HEAVEN
AND
MY BAG IS SPOTLESS

I love this brush! It works well with my foundation as well as my cream blush. It also cleans easily with rubbing alcohol and tissue.

Perfect for hi-def
-03.04.12
Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles
I use this brush to apply my hi-def liquid foundation from make up forever. It gives an airbrushed finish and allows me to use much less product. The hairs are a little longer than they need to be so I just push down so that the bristles are a little firmer and give me more control. I apply in a circular motion until completely blended. Also, the brush is still good after you clean it and let it dry. Worth the money!

Not big enough for me
-02.06.12
Quick Take: soft bristles
Its a nice concept but as a powder brush i wanted the brush part to be bigger.. this brush works better with blushes for me... Sephora makes a really great retractable brush for powder that is much bigger and works great!

Love it!
-01.06.12
This is by far the best foundation brush I have ever used! It does not shed and is small and perfect for travel. The only problem I had is after the first month the retractable part broke and the brush would not lock to be exposed and used. I should have exchanged it, but instead I glued it. :) No worries, I still love it. I bought my daughter one for Christmas and she loves it as well!

Retractable Brush
-12.21.11
Quick Take: idk
I ended up returning the brush.. I bought the long handle hourglass brush that is more expensive. After taking with the salesgirl in the store she said that the long handle brush is much better made and to only keep the retractable one if I needed a smaller brush.

Nice soft brush. Not quite broad enough for a foundation brush, but the bristles don't shed like my kabuki brush. Retractable feature makes it compact to take on the go.

Expensive but worth it
-07.15.11
I love it! It is pretty expensive, but the brush is wonderful quality. I have two other portable brush just like it which are almost half the price, but the length of this brush makes it perfect for my mineral veil application. I think this may ot be for mineral foundation buffing application, but for finishing powder, just perfect.

Great for Travel or Everyday
-03.10.11
Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles
I use this to apply my liquid foundation (currently MUFE Mat Velvet 35). The same foundations I use my SEPHORA COLLECTION Professionnel Platinum Foundation Airbrush #55 to apply. I think they work equally well. I get the same effect with either brush. I like the Hourglass brush more because it is retractable. It makes it easy to travel with (no bent bristles) and I feel it stays cleaner on my vanity top as it's in a case protecting it from fluff and what not falling on it. It was a pain to travel with my Airbrush #55. It's so long and I had nothing to protect the bristles effectively.

Really soft, but not for buffing in foundation.
-12.28.10
Quick Take: soft bristles
Really soft, but the brush was all over the place. I purchased it for buffing in foundation. No time for flip flopping in the morning. This brush is more; a loose powder brush... My bad. I was in a rush when i purchased it, and did'nt stop to look closely @ the construction of the bristles.

The best!
-12.10.10
It is expensive but without a doubt, the best foundation brush I have found. It distributes foundation evenly and makes your skin look flawless. My daughter "stole" my first one so had to order another one!

Not enough fluff for the job
-08.17.10
Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles
I bought this in an attempt to replace my retractable kabuki brush from another company. That brush is in a bright pink metallic case, which I think has butterflies on it. I was looking for a more grown-up brush. Unfortunately, this one is too soft and not very fluffy, which makes it unsuitable for use with my powder foundation. Maybe a different use would make this brush a star, but I ended up returning it.

Perfect brush
-06.12.10
Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles
I have tried a few other foundation brushes in the past, but I've always preferred applying foundation with my fingers. That is, until I tried this brush. It's amazing! I use it with my Armani Luminous Silk foundation. One pump is all I need, and the brush makes my face look airbrushed. Plus the synthetic bristles make my sensitive skin happy. And the cover keeps the brush perfectly clean and ready for travel. I love it!
