We're on vacation at a beach resort, and I've taken this Lotus Garden Travel Set. primarily because I love traveling with candles. I love the way candles can set a romantic atmosphere on a vacation with my husband, and when I travel for business, I like the way candles can cover up the musty smells sometimes found even in some top notch hotels. (Those are the places where conventions are often held).
This set contains a scented candle, which so far has burned for hours, beautifully scenting the room with a spicy flowery citrusy scent. There is also a matching solid perfume, which smells delightful, plus body butter in the same fragrance. While this is perfect for travel, or a romantic night with someone you love, it's also perfect as a great hostess gift. I also recommend the other Pacifica Travel Sets which I also personally used, and have additionally given as hostess gifts. The sets are beautifully boxed, and even come with a matching box of matches for the candle. You'll love this.

Quick Take: pretty
i got this for a friend and she has been talking about how awesome this gift was. i didn't tell her that i only spent $14 ;] well.. plus tax.. but you know, that was a great investment! i tested out the scent in the sephora store so i would be sure that it's not just a box of cheap items. it's actually a really pretty set with bold and bright colors that are sure to catch your eyes and please the senses :]

Quick Take: frugal, economical, nice
I would have paid the 15 dollars just for the solid perfume! It however doesn't last all day, but it' smells so nice! It last around four+hours. The body butter is a plus! I don't care much for the candle and matches but I gave those away as a gift, lol. Excellent smell for a good price.

Quick Take: smells like heaven, worth it with a deal, cute looks awesome
The box has these gorgeous colors, the product smells AMAZING, it's a cute little gift to give someone, yet I'm not convinced it's worth $14 bucks. I was lucky enough to receive free shipping with this product, so I got a good deal. But any other time, it might come off as expensive for what you get - the products are pretty small. It is a gift/travel set, but i was still expecting something a bit bigger. I'm giving this set to my boyfriend's mom, and I was hoping for something a little bit more 'wow-ing' for her. This is more of a gift for a friend who enjoys cute-sy things. Aside from the negatives, it smells amazing, the composition/appeal/aesthetics are amazing. I opened the box and I was like WOW. I'd really like to receive this gift myself. The only thing is, how long will it last?

Felt compelled to review after reading the negative review below. This is a great deal and a really nice product. It is excellent as a gift. The body butter is not "tiny." It is a typical travel size which is how it is described. Jar is about 2 inches high and 6 inches around to be precise. The candle is also not tiny. It is larger than a votive. As well, the solid perfume is full size and not tiny. And the matches are cute. The scent is really nice. The citrus is not overpowering at all. Very subtle and mixed well with the flower scents. Will probably try another scent in this.

Small, but nice- 07.29.09
I wasnt sure about buying this product but I figured for 14.00 I couldnt go wrong, so I gave it a shot and Im glad I did. Its a bit smaller than I expected but all of the items are great. Theyre richly scented and the scent is pleasing. The box itsself is also very pretty and is handy for storing things. Im definately going to pick some up as Christmas gifts.

Quick Take: a little box of happy
Great set. I had purchased the soap previously and loved the scent, and this is a great little sampler of other products. The solid perfume is great to pop in your purse as it is small but you don't need a lot to smell great!

This set is such a great value. The solid perfume alone is great, it is the same size as the single version on sale for $9. Plus you get two ounces of body butter, it's a travel size! It's not going to be a big bottle, hence...travel size.
The candle is a standard votive candle in a glass candle holder. It smells lovely and burns evenly for hours. I have used it over and over again. The matches just seemed like a cute little extra to sit next to the candle in the bathroom. It makes people feel at home and more likely to use the candle.
The Lotus Garden scent is so peaceful and calming. I love to wear the perfume and body lotion, then light the candle and climb into bed to read magazines before falling asleep at night. It's pretty close to perfect!

I wish they had a ZERO star rating. I bought this set thinking...how great..I can try several of their product lines. Here's what I got...
a pack of matches A tiny candle with NO FRAGRANCE...but great purple color... a tiny jar of body butter...yes,...scented...but the scent wears off FAST
and finally..a tiny tin of the solid fragrance...it smells nice.....and wears off on the skin after 15 minutes...leaving an oily mark behind.

Great for gifting...- 03.25.09
Pacifica's travel sets make excellent gifts. I gave one of these to a friend who loved it. She turned around and went and bought the rest of the matching items not included in the set. The travel sets really do make great gifts.
