I bought this blush for my teenage sister at Sephora a few weeks ago and she absolutely loves it. This blush is highly pigmented, but not to be confused with "intensely" pigmented. It is definitely a young, fresh color perfect for brightening up your face. You won't look clownish with this on. My sister often studies late at night, so she just applies this in the morning - one swipe of the product - right onto the apples of her cheeks to eliminate any noticeable fatigue. It really gives her a wonderful glow and youthfulness to her face. There is no shimmer to the product, however. "Down Boy" has a very creamy, smooth texture and leaves a matte finish, perfect for everyday. We took some pictures of it on my sister and the pigmentation of it in the pics left her skin looking naturally rosy and flushed - very cute!
The packaging is super adoarble and includes a mirror. For the amount of blush in the compact and the level of pigmentation, this is SUCH a great buy. The application is smooth and you can easily blend this into your skin. Terrific product! (:

Picked this up after returning a Tarte cheek stain, which gave me an overly dewy look.
The color looks intense in the pan, but is absolutely natural looking on the skin - a soft flush. The color is very buildable, so I can use it for both day and evening looks. It also feels very soft and smooth going on and blends like a dream. The finish is a perfect balance between matte and dewy.
I will definitely repurchase.

I love this blush! I was always looking for a strawberry milk colored blush and this is it! Better than Benefit's Dandelion or Thrrob. Its very pink with more white base so the color shows up more on my skin. Love it!

Great color payoff that gives just the perfect flushed look! I want to look BETTER than "natural", yet still natural... this does that! I can't wear creme blushes due to oily skin, and this gives me the same sheer affect without the streaking and grease. I love this blush! MUCH better than the Benefit Dandelion. (That has a very white underlying hue to it, and no color staying power, even on my pale, oily skin.) But this is fantastic! Say YES to TheBalm "Down Boy"- you will glow!!!

This is a really nice feminine shade of pink, it's highly pigmented so you don't need much. It can easily be used as just a touch of pink or a more intense pink "flush" to your cheeks. Just gorgeous! This is my new favorite pink blush! There's a nice size amount of it as well, I can see this blush lasting me forever! Definitely worth the $20.
