SEPHORA COLLECTION 3-in-1 Extractor

What it is:A blemish-banishing tool with a stainless steel lancet for safe and effective extraction. What it does:Use this convenient tool to relieve your complexion by effectively extracting black and white heads. This hygienic tool will not leave marks or scars if used properly. The lance delicately pierces white heads when necessary and all parts of the tool can be used on both face and body. The tool is designed with a pretty slate finish and the handle fits comfortably in the hand for ease and accuracy. What else you need to know:When dealing with deep acne, it's best to visit a dermatologist. A doctor may use a sterile needle, but only after a pustule has formed. Additional treatments depend on the severity of the acne.

Pretty cool
-05.08.13
I bought this on a whim and use it more than expected. Having larger pores on my nose, it has really helped me get them clean and improved my skin overall helping clear up redness and breakouts associated with blackheads in larger pores.

Great product!
-05.06.13
Quick Take: easy to use
I find that I need to use the "whitehead" side all the time, as it is easier to manipulate smaller pimples (especially blackheads, hence the '4' instead of '5'). It cuts the healing time in half (if used correctly instead of picking) and does not leave scars! Remember to always disinfect with alcohol before and after so bacteria does not go all over your face!

Best tool ever!

Quick Take: acne extractor
Best value the price. If used properly, this 3-in-one tool not only gets blackheads, and pimples, but includes a lance which gets stubborn pimples. It works great. I love that it helps me lessen the length of time that zits stick around. I would recommend for everyone who knows how it use it properly.

awesome!
-03.18.13
Quick Take: easy to use
If used properly, this extractor gets the worst blemishes. I use it once, put a topical acne spot treatment on the blemish, and it almost disappears overnight. The lance is great for hard to extract blemishes. Highly recommended.

Okay
-03.17.13
This works alright. It is the same as just squishing your skin together with your fingers, but I still use it pretty often. It only works right around my nose area. Definitely not anything special because you still have to press pretty hard on your skin for it to actually work.

I love that this 3 - 1 style has the 3rd option with the pointy part. It's just gives you one more option for gently ridding yourself of the nasties. Great idea Sephora!

Love this bad boy
-03.05.13
Quick Take: addictive
I love this little bad boy. It does wonders for my crazy whiteheads and blackheads, and I even need to restrain myself a bit when it comes to squeezing stuff out. My only complaint, as many have mentioned before, is that the screw to the lancet doesn't stay on very well. Also, using a lancet on your stubborn whiteheads is quite a feat, so be careful!

Great Tool!
-03.03.13
Quick Take: easy to use, hygienic
Saw a demonstration of this being used on YouTube, and HAD to have one. It is a little pricey, but my face scars if you look at it funny, and this has helped clear my complication of blemishes effortlessly, hygienically and without harming my skin, unlike strips that remove blackheads and break me out even worse, this has done marvelous things for my skin...although I really have little use for the flat side and find it a bit sharp to really be used. Otherwise, perfect. Make sure you clean it after use with soap and water and alcohol certainly couldn't hurt since you are dealing with bacteria.

Hubby loves it
-02.19.13
Quick Take: sharp, effective
Got it for my hubby and he loves it!! I do think it is a bit expensive since there are many similar tools on the market that are less pricey.

wonderful for extractions
-02.19.13
Be careful with this product. However the smaller looped side is great for extracting pimples. I'm afraid to try the bigger side, and even more afraid to use the pointy side. I'm a newbie with extraction, so if you've had experience, maybe you can use all three features!

use cautiously
-02.12.13
Quick Take: effective
Extractors are great for getting stubborn pimples, but it's important to keep it cleaned and use sparingly. Getting carried away and picking at your face only makes matters worse. Reserve this tool for protruded whiteheads and clearly visible stubborn blackheads.

I bought this because I'm a major picker of my acne and I knew squeezing, picking, and popping with my fingernails was doing some serious damage and scarring to my face. Now I use this extractor everyday and I have much less scarring! It gets the gunk out of my skin while not damaging all the surrounding skin like fingernails do. Wish I'd discovered this earlier. The lance is completely useless, it's too big and very dull, it can't pop anything. If I ever need to lance, I use a fine sewing needle.
In order to use the extraction loops, the whitehead MUST be ready to pop, you have to see the white part at the top of the zit and it shouldn't require too much effort to extract. If it's still red/under the skin, don't try to extract it - you'll just end up tearing your skin apart and pushing the bacteria deeper. Sometimes steaming helps with extraction and sometimes it's better not to, because it can make the skin too soft and elastic, and require more pressure to extract.
I use the flatter loop for smaller zits and the rounder loop for bigger/more swollen ones.
It's pretty intuitive to use, but you get more finesse with more use.

Huge dangerous Lancet
-01.24.13
The lancet should be small so as not to damage your skin by piercing it, but this lancet is HUGE. Sure, you can puncture a hole to extract the bad boy but that hole will be permanent.

-01.12.13
Ok, got this for my teen sons massive white heads. I was given some instructions, warnings on use by very helpful sales lady. Such as DO NOT use specific end until white appears... It helps perfectly and I really appreciated her advice. A must have for moms to help teens not pick!

The pores on my nose are smaller than ever
-01.11.13
This tool removes whitehead and blackheads. I've had difficulty using the blackhead tool extractor and have not been very successful with that. The whitehead extractor works great. You do have to press it down firmly, and it can be a little painful, but the results were worth it. Whitehead extractor works well on the nose, but I have had minimal results using it on my cheek, chin, and forehead.
