Quick Take: lightweight, easy to use
Great product. First used it when it was an insider 100 point gift. Smells great and definitely works....and I live in Houston, the land of humidity, so this product is put to the test.
I just wish the styling mud smelled as nice as this product :(

Absolutely Brilliant, I'm the type of girl that never puts anything in my hair. ever. I like to dampen my hair in the morning & run this stuff threw it. i don't even use a blow dryer on it, & my hair has no frizz its very tame & very straight all day. I have very thick hair & a little goes a very long way, so you get more than what your paying for.

Not Sure What the Fuss is About- 10.12.09
I don't get it....this product does NOTHING for my hair. Does not smooth it whatsoever. Very disappointed. Am most likely going to return it.

I was really hoping this would work for me, especially with all the great reviews and because I like that Jonathan uses all vegan ingredients. It felt like glue on my hair though and I didn't use very much. It also didn't straighten my hair very well and my hair isn't even curly? It's actually just slightly wavy. I've tried a bunch of straightening/smoothing products and I seriously think this one was the worst? User error maybe?

I've tried them all. I have long, thick, wavy-curly hair that I usually blow dry staight. This is the best product I've tried in a long time. Silky smooth hair for 2 to 3 days.

Even if you don't want to use the flat iron, this product makes it so much easier to blow dry your hair out fairly straight. It also gives your hair body and makes it feel incredibly soft and smooth. Love it!

well my mom thinks stuff from sephora is overpriced and a waste of my money lol but she loves what this stuff does with my hair i got her to start using it too shes half filipino i have rly wavy hair even after its blowdried it'll wave up and oh god some hair lotions when applied to my hair you would think it was for curling but this stuff straightens it!!! keeps my hair soft other lotions just felt oily or harden my hair or sticky and its hard to find stuff for my hair cuz its not regular i rly like this and will continue to purchase!

Quick Take: lightweight, easy to use
This product works so well to smooth and tame hair. I put a dime sized amount on before I blow-dry my hair and it works wonders. For straighter hair, more product can be used, but I use it more just to smooth. The smell is amazing as well, very light and and reminiscent of lillies.

The Jonathan straightening lotion is absolutely fantastic. I originally tried when it was given to me as a free gift. I fell in love with it immediately. I have naturally curly hair, and even blow drying my hair straight doesn't quite do the trick. This product delivers the same results as a professional blow dry/styling. It is a truly fantastic product that allows me to blow dry my hair, without causing frizz and maintaining moisture. I absolutely love this product and could probably write a novel about it.

I love this line. Finally someone has found a way to get rid of frizz and make my hair look good. I live in Ohio and the humidity this summer has been terrible but this product is amazing! I love it. I used it, dried my hair with the hair dryer and didn't even need to use a flat iron. I would highly recommend this stuff. It is great!!

Jonathan's straightening lotion is almost perfect. Its lotion consistency is easy to apply, especially because it is not sticky or tacky. A small amount of product covers a large amount of hair. After styling my hair, it feels soft and manageable, but there is still some body in it. Also, my long layers look defined. Also, it helps my hair keep its style for days even in humid weather. The only negative about the lotion is that, although it doesn't make my hair dull, it doesn't add any shine to my hair.
