Love
-05.13.13
Quick Take: sheer coverage, reduces shine, non-irritating
Finally found a sunblock for my face that doesn't cause irritation or breakouts! And I found it to be a very effective sunblock. Also love the sheer coverage...makes me feel confident going out to the pool/beach with no makeup! Will be using this for a long time!!

Non-breakout SPF!
-05.13.13
Quick Take: sheer coverage
Cream sunblocks make my face break out, but this one does not. However the plus that it doesn't even feel like it's on your face is also the negative - it's difficult to know for sure if it is on your face. But, since I haven't been burned, I assume it has been.

Love this stuff
-04.12.13
Quick Take: oil-absorbing, sheer coverage
I purchased this last summer at a local spa where I live, and was able to purchase it in LIght. It blended perfectly with my fair skin. I use it primarily in the afternoon after my regular sunscreen moisturizer has worn off, and also as a pick me up for my skin when going out in the evening. Love the brush, and I swear that it made the lines in my face less noticeable. Carry it in my purse and it hasn't spilled yet. (-:

Good idea but weird color for my skin
-03.18.13
I love bareMinerals in general so I think the problem I have is more with my skin tone and trying to find a good match. I'm thinking if there was one shade between light and medium, I would use that. As it is, it's very strange when I use a lot as I look like put some self tanner that went wrong on my face. But I like the idea so I may buy a different color.

bareMinerals !!!
-02.03.13
Quick Take: oil-absorbing, reduces shine, sheer coverage, sun protection
Love this product especially during the winter months when you don't sweat as much. It ensures that I get a high SPF 30 and also assists in great coverage for my rosaceo.

Good but need another color!
-01.29.13
I like the light coverage of this powder, the effectiveness, but the light is too light and the medium is a little orange for my fair skin. Wish there was a middle shade but otherwise, delivers as promised!

Essential stuff
-12.15.12
Quick Take: effective as makeup and spf, non-damaging to skin, convenient packaging
My skin has sensitized to the chemical sunscreens, and have you noticed how pervasive they are? I turn beet red if I use them. This powder sunscreen has become my essential. The medium tone is a perfect match for my light-medium with yellow undertones complexion and even is a decent cover-up for my ruddiness (pre-Rosacea and metabolic flushing). The package is perfect, too ... it lives in my purse and I've had no problems with leaking.

Great!
-11.30.12
Quick Take: oil-absorbing, reduces shine, sheer coverage, great color
This is great if you don't like greasy sun-lotions and/or sprays!
And here's why:
-The color is great and matches my skin tone easily.
-The SPF is great and I feel less burnt.
-SPF 30 is a good amount of protection and is great when in my car and the sun is blinding!
-The Brush on applicator is so nice! It is easy to put on and isn't so stuffy and greasy like a sun-lotion!
-Reduces Shine! YAY! NO SHINE!
-There is no oil!

natural looking and easy to travel with
-11.11.12
Quick Take: oil-absorbing, sheer coverage, reduces shine, travel friendly
I love this product. This is my third purchase. The color is natural and it is easy to travel with and reappy. I like the medium although I am fair as it gives me a slight bronze glow. I like there is no shimmer in this product.

This is a quick & convenient way to apply sunscreen throughout the day. I like that it helps absorb oil and leaves a satin finish.

Horrible color
-10.14.12
I love Bare Minerals mineral veil and powder foundation, so I thought I'd try this product. I ordered the medium and when I put it on, I looked like I'd been using a cheap tanning lotion. Very orange tint. Perhaps the light is better, but I didn't really care for the feel of the powder on my face either. Felt kind of sticky. Very disappointed.

New Packaging
-09.23.12
Quick Take: sheer coverage
I love BareMinerals SPF 30 Natural Sunscreen. I have been using it for a couple of years. It is extremely useful for air travel. At home, I primarily use it for my face. In the summer, I also use it on my arms due to sun beaming on the left one while driving. When I go on Caribbean vacations, I use it all over. I do not burn due to its use. The only issue I have with the sunscreen is the new packaging. There used to be just and open and close setting. Now there is open, close and buff settings. I did not realize the change initially and I had a mess on my hands. Not sure why the change because I never had an issue with too much product dispensing with the old packaging. If too much product is used, it is noticeable at less with the Tan color. For my usage, it is a good buy. It lasts several months because I only use it for my full body twice a year.

Quick Take: oil-absorbing, reduces shine
I'd give 3.5 stars if I could but... eh.
The lightest shade is slightly too dark and the brush dispenser is a too-much-or-too-little kind of deal, as the coverage gets a bit heavy when I use it. I've just been dispensing small amounts of powder onto a paler red-neutralizing compact and using another brush to mix them and apply. Both problems solved.
Other than that, love the texture, coverage and concept.

Poorly designed
-09.16.12
If I could give this product 0 stars I would; I bought it to keep in my purse as a "go-to" sunscreen I could use anytime that wouldn't make my face look shiny. After you prime the applicator (by twisting) it does eventually dispense the powder but it takes a little time. My complaint with this is that the bottom compartment which holds the powder is not securely fixed - mine came off leaving loose powder all over the lambskin lining of my bag (unfortunately an expensive one) and it won't come out. This could have easily been avoided if Bare Minerals had used a little common sense when designing it.

Sadly not a fan....

It came out a bit cake-ish. I'm also exceptionally fair and the fairest of this product appeared a bit orange on me. My bad luck I suppose.
