Quick Take: color correcting
This primer does double duty. It covers eyelid imperfections (veins, redness, oiliness) yet stays fresh and matte all day. The only reason it gets a 4 out of 5 stars is that it is not a full day primer for powder shadow. It will crease at the end of the day.

No creasing, no smudges, my eye shadow lasts all day. Even when I wear it under cheap drugstore brand shadows. A little goes a long way, this tube will last forever.

I don't remember how, but I once received a sample of Smashbox's Lid Primer. It was shortly after I had tried a different highly recommended brand that I had to return because I was disappointed with it. Well Smashbox's didn't disappoint. I've been buying it ever since because it does keep my eye shadow on longer than if I don't use it. It's light weight and not cakey. It does its job well!

i was hoping this would help keep eyeliner from migrating down the outer corners of my eye. no help whatsoever in that department. furthermore, i applied it on my lower lid to keep lower eyeliner in place and it horribly accentuated the crease in my lower lid, making me look about 5 years older.

This product provides good coverage for sleep-deprived eyes. I use it instead of eyeshadow to give my eyes a bright, refreshed look. My only complaint is that it flakes slightly on the inner corner of the eye. Could be solved with a bit of moisturizer.

Quick Take: moisturizing, full coverage, self setting, matte
Covers the redness and spider veins of eyelids nicely and keeps eyeshadow on all day. Only drawback is if you get too much product on it can look flakey. Nice to wear alone, with dramatic eyeliner. Good color for medium skin tones.

I tried urban decay, tarte and can't seen to find anything better than this primer. Ceaseless action and matte finish creates a beautiful palette for eyeshadow. My shadows stay on all day with this puppy!!!

I have to say with all honesty that I love it, It truely works in keeping the oil way and allowing the eye shadow to stay put..no more crease eye shadow. One thing I would like to see added is other warn tan or deep tan color, not just the baige color.

Good, but not great primer

This has the texture and color of a fair foundation. If you have darker skin, wearing this will be the makeup equivalent of a flesh tone band aid. That said, it did do a generally good job of holding my eyeshadow in place for about 8+ hours. I have very oily skin and my shadow will crease without the use of a primer. It isn't as much value for money or as effective as Nars' lid primer, but this is easier to remove. By the end of the bottle, it seemed to have lost a bit of it's effectiveness.

I'm on the hunt for a good eye primer so I tried this one. It creased soooo bad! The texture was nice and I liked how it concealed the darkness I have on my eyes. The search continues.
