Best sunscreen!

I love this stuff. I live in a dry climate with unlimited sun regardless of the time of year, and sun damage is the biggest ager in this part of the country. Basically, if you're going to be outside for more than ten minutes you should have sunscreen on any exposed skin, even if you aren't especially prone to burning, which I am. This sunscreen has some great ingredients, and it's nice that it's a cream so also fairly moisturizing in addition to being protective. Also sunscreen slides around if you break a sweat hiking or overheating, but this stuff stays put fairly well. For a Clinique product this is also pretty affordable. I am looking forward to trying the 50 SPF version and hoping it goes on as smoothly as this one. I may also try the face version for outdoor days when something over 15-30 SPF is desirable.

Broke out

Have used this twice and had a reaction both times. First time was just a general itchiness and the second time I actually developed red bumps on my skin. I don't have sensitive skin, so I guess the product just didn't work for me. On the plus side, it doesn't smell as strongly as other sunscreens. Wish I didn't have a negative reaction to it, but now I'll have to look for a different SPF body lotion or cream.

You get a good amount for the price and it is noncomedogenic so you don't have to worry about breakouts. Also, it blends clear and the scent isn't too strong. I have applied it every day on my body but I haven't used it for my face and I don't intend to, for it seems too heavy for that.

This is magical, goes on creamy like a body lotion, blends easily, doesn't have that nasty sunscreen smell or feel. My boyfriend and his friend even commented on how great it was after using up almost the entire bottle at the beach this weekend. Definitely re-ordering!

I looked a long time for a chemical sunscreen as anything with physical leaves a white cast and finally found this. I checked the ingredience label and IMO it is the same as the Face version SPF 30. It looks just fine under makeup, the SPF 50 was just too thick, and I can tolerate it fine. It is not as easy as you would think to find anything near an SPF30 or highger, which is recommended now, not SPF 15, that is not physical ingredient based. I also like the Kate Sommerville serum of SPF 55, chemical based, but this is SUCH a deal for the price, only about $20 for 5 oz vs $45 for 2 oz. I don't see anywhere where it is not recommended for the face and the products feel identical, also, so consider this a good under makeup sunscreen if you can tolerate chemicals and don't mind using them. I feel I have no choice.

I'm an avid follower of the Clinique skincare line, and thought it most sensible to try their sunscreen products. Though the cream is thicker than expected, I use it religiously every morning on my chest, ears, forearms (and feet- when exposed) for daily skin protection. It's an easy product to use and so far, no complaints!

Quick Take: neutral scent
I used Clinique's SPF body cream on my face and body and my sensitive skin had no complaints. It has a fairly neutral smell, doesn't clog pores, absorbs quickly, and doesn't feel tacky on your skin. But it melts off with sweat, humidity, water, etc. I would give more stars if it had longer lasting power.

I loved this sunscreen. It blended into my skin without leaving a sticky, chalky layer like some other creams out there. It also didn't peel off after spending some time in the pool. Maybe it was the cream or the sun in Mexico or a combo of both, but it left me a golden. My only complaint, it has to be checked because the tube exceeds the liquid allowance when flying.
