Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural
I live in subtropical Florida and my skin starts soaking in the sun the moment I go outside. With Clinique, there wasn't a layer of film on my skin, like other SPF50 products. It protects against UVA and UVB, so not only do I not worry about damaging rays being absorbed into my skin as much, but I don't feel the direct heat from the sun hitting my face as much. It does absorb quickly, so apply to directly to small area, blend, and then apply to next area. The only thing I don't like is the cap. It is not airtight, so everyday there's always a thin skin layer of dried product when you squeeze it out.<--(minus 1 star)

Wonderful

Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural
I was afraid that this product would be too heavy. It goes on smoothly and is not greasy yet moisturizing. Great product!

It is a little bit oily. But it is ok for me to put them on neck and other places rather than face. Since I am really afraid of the cream to cause breakouts on my face, I never try this face cream on my face...

Clinique's SPF 50
-04.26.13
Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, clinique delivers again
You know there are a lot of great new SPF products out right now which is so nice. I have been a devoted fan of Murad's Essential-C SPF 30 for a long time but you know, I wince every time I drop $60.00 to buy it. So in an attempt to save a little money, I decided to pick this up and give it a try and all I have to say is that there is a reason Clinique is still a contender. LIke their iconic Exfoliating Scrub and Dramatically Different Lotion, this product quietly delivers the goods. I've been using it for a month and so far, no SPF breakouts. It doesn't leave a greasy cast, in fact it gives a great matte finnish that doesn't mess with the application of your foundation. Put it to the test this weekend, staying out in the sun for about 4 hours and happily no burn the next day. I'm taking one star off for the smell which is considerable but fades a few minutes after it sets. $21.00 dollars for this great SPF is a no-brainer. Enjoy!

I really love this sunscreen and this is my second bottle that I've bought. It's just amazing. I really like it because it is not oily and and it's perfect for my skin because I have very sensitive skin.

Good sunscreen
-01.14.13
Quick Take: blends in easily
I was afraid of this stuff, because my skin is really oily. This didn't help that, but it didn't make it worse either. Absorbs pretty well, and doesn't make me break out. And it's not as pricey as a lot of other sunscreens for the face. It's a keeper!

Great Sun Screen
-11.16.12
I love this product! It gives great protection from the sun and does not make my skin break out for which I am truly grateful. I've used too many products that solve one problem but create others.
In fact, I have to say one of the things that I love about Clinique products in general is that they do not aggravate my skin in this way! Yay!

Does its job well!
-07.08.12
Quick Take: fantastic, for oily skin, goes on clear, works well for combo skin
My search for sunscreen every summer goes like this : get on goggle search sunscreen dark skin and yea that's it I end up looking like burnt toast by the end of summer. Anywho because of my marie claire mag this year I decided to follow through and I found this awesome oil free, spf 50 sunscreen for under $90! I was amazed. I have used it 5 times so far and I know it works because I don't have two different skin tones after spending an hour outside. I also reapply if I sweat alot. I haven't had any breakouts with this product and my face doesn't look like I covered it in baby powder. Another plus it works great under makeup. Will give five stars if it work through out the summer.

I just started using this and it works how it should. I have oily skin so adding sunscreen just makes my face an oil slick. So far I haven't developed any new breakouts when I've used this. It does pill a bit when I'm putting primer on and when I open the tube there is a ring around the opening of crusty product buildup. It doesn't burn/sting when I put it on.

Clinique SPF50 Face Cream
-05.25.12
Quick Take: clinique spf50 face cream
I ride a motorcycle and live in Florida where it's hot, humid and sunny most of the year. I put this sunscreen on with NO makeup whatsoever just to see if I would burn. I'm happy to say my face didn't burn even after riding for 4 hours of bright sunlight. My skin didn't itch either. I am allergic to a lot of products but this one didn't bother my skin at all. I'll keep using it under my mineral face powder with complete confidence that my face will be protected. By the way, I'm a 63 year old redhead with tons of freckles.

Fancy sunscreen makes a difference
-03.23.12
Quick Take: non-greasy, does not clog pores
Living in So Cal, facial sunscreen is just part of getting dressed in the morning. This sunscreen is twice as expensive as the drugstore sunscreen (I was using Neutrogena), but it makes a big difference not having a greasy outer-coating. I'm glad I splurged. Oh, and it works. Did I mention I'm Irish?

Great sunblock!!!
-03.23.12
Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily
My kids were coming for a visit and wanted to go to the beach so I decided to try this because of medications I am on I have to be very careful of sun exposure on my skin. I really like this face cream, it has a high level of protection from the sun without the smell that most suntan lotions have, but of course it is Clinique so I knew it would be great!!! Try this ladies you will be hooked!!!!

This doesn't sink in fast enough to make it convenient for use under makeup. I do like having the sheen on my face that this product gives when I decide not to wear makeup though. You really can't go without a product like this in the summertime. There are plenty of scorching days when makeup is impractical and this is all you need. It is thick, slightly greasy (but less than your average sunscreen) and smells, of course, like sunscreen.

Greasy and clotty
-03.19.12
There is always a clot of product at the opening of the tube, which is messy and gross. The product itself is greasy, though it does the job well enough. I won't buy this again, though.

Love It!
-11.12.11
Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily
It is thick and smooths on easily so you don't need to use a lot so it lasts me a long time which I like. It is non greasy and very moisturizing at the same time. The problem I find with anything that has an SPF in it is that it is thin, doesn't moisturize, and is too greasy.

I needed something trustworthy to give me good coverage since I work outdoors a lot. This definitely does the job but, but...I its a bit greasy...It gives me a nice dewy look but if you have greasy skin it will make you break out.

Best Sunscreen I've Ever Used
-09.01.11
Quick Take: non-greasy, provides complete protection
I love everything about this product. Most importantly, it does provide complete protection from the sun. I freckle easily and most sunscreens don't prevent them - this does. I haven't experienced any irritation or acne. The pretty yellow tube is easy to spot in my makeup bag and purse. The product is a bit drying compared to other sunscreens, so I think oily skinned gals would love this product.

Its okay
-08.24.11
I like how its formulated specifically for the face but after trying it for a month, I think it is the same as buying a regular sunscreen. Does not blend in easily, very dry. Also left my skin a bit greasy.

definitely not coppertone
-08.22.11
Quick Take: natural, non-greasy, blends in easily
I was using Coppertone body sunblock on my face. It was leaving it greasy and sort of red looking, leaving me grumpy and mean looking. So I broke down and spent the money for Clinique's sunblock for the face and it's a million times better than using Coppertone. However, I do find that it's pretty darn expensive for the amount you get.
