This is a light moisturizer that helped greatly my combination skin. Oil-free product did not make my skin break out. Only thing i don't like is the price, but overall it a great product to have!

There is nothing I don't like about this product except for the price. There really isn't that much in there, it only lasted a little over a month. I just giant around hundreds of dollars on lotion every year.

Helps keep skin clear

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
This moisturizer is the best I've tried on my acne- prone skin. I first bought this as part if the Blemish Banisher kit but ran out of it early. However, it does help keep my skin clear (together with the Detoxifying Cleanser and the nightly EradiKate spot treatment). Whatever is in it has kept my troublesome skin balanced, with about 50% less new blemishes.

Best moisturizer I have used, hands down, and the only product I've stuck with for years. Great for my adult acne prone skin. Doesn't make me oily, doesn't exacerbate my acne, enough moisture to keep flakes at bay. I can't say enough good things about it!

This moisturizer is nice but the anti-aging ingredients caused me to break out, other wise this moisturizer would be perfect. It absorbs quickly and wears well under make-up, I just wished it didn't cause breakouts.

Great moisturizer for oily skin!

I have oily skin and I do break out, but as I was eating older I realized I needed to start moisturizing my skin. Including my face. It was trial and error, but finally three years ago I tried out a sample and was amazed. It soaked into my skin and had a neutral scent. My face also became less oily. I also use this together with the Kate Somerville anti-bac lotion. It is slightly on the pricey side, but well worth it. So I try to stock up whenever Sephora offers the VIB discounts.

I bought this moisturizer and I was pleasantly surprised that by it. I only used it for about 3-4 days so I cannot attest to the anti aging effects but as for mattifying my skin it was only OK. And for the price I wanted more than okay. So I returned it.

Broke me out

Quick Take: absorbs quickly
I love Kate Somerville's benzoyl peroxide lotion, so I decided to give this a try. The moisturizer seemed to sink in well when first applied, so that's nice, but it broke me out. I do have sensitive/acne prone skin, so someone else might have better luck, but anything that breaks me out is simply a no go for me.

I am a chronic non-regimener. You know what I mean, I have the very best of intentions, but can't seem to stick to a system every day. My biggest problem with moisturizers is that they are gooey and take forever to soak in and leave my face sticky, but...
Then I met Kate.
This moisturizer soaks in so quickly its no problem at all to put it on morning and night, even on the mornings when Im running so late my shoes are on the wrong feet. It leaves my skin feeling super soft and has evened out the oiliness of my t-zone. It does have a bit of a smell, but I don't think its bad, and it fades as quickly as it soaks in. I use this alongside EradiKate the blemish healer, and they are my true dream team. My skin has never looked better! My only negative thing to say is I wish it wasn't so expensive, but considering the $100's and $100's I've spent on my acne, $65 is worth every penny.

I have acne prone combination skin--a super oily t-zone and normal/dry skin on my cheeks--which makes it SUPER hard to find a good moisturizer. Most products (and trust me, I've tried many) will satisfy one part of the combination and aggravate the other. Just horrible. But I've been using this product for about 2 weeks now and my skin has never been better!! No breakouts (is this real?) and a purely matte finish. I only need to re-powder my nose about once a day now, if at all. Even my co-workers noticed the difference.
On the other hand, it does smell a little funky. Not nearly as bad as mildew...but not pleasant either. The good thing is that the smell evaporates afterwards because the product absorbs so quickly. Plus, with my skin looking this good--what do I care?!

I really love all the Kate Somerville products I've tried. I got this as a sample and thought it did a great job. It is pretty expensive and doesn't have SPF, so I would probably only use it at night, but It did a great job on my combination skin. No oily spots, no dried out patches. Just wish I had a bit more to test this over a few weeks to really evaluate it.

I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but this reeked of mildew! I applied this before applying my makeup and had to wash my face because of the odor. Not for me.

I have VERY sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts. I have tried numerous amounts of moisturizers & at 28, this is the best one yet. I've been using this for several years & my skin looks great, I hope they always make this!

This is my favorite moisturizer. It's simple, doesn't have a strong smell, and it does it's job. Doesn't make my skin feel oily at all. Just a nice everyday moisturizer.

I love this,and have tried many other brands.I just keep returning to this one. I love that it doesn't have sunscreen,I don't care for the texture of lotions with sunscreen under my makeup.If you want that Cliniques City blockmis great and has a tint of color I wear it alone at the beach.This is my every day go to.

not only is it oil free but it makes you skin softer than cashmere! i have combo skin
this remoisturizes and plumps my skin!
a jar the first time around lasted me 5 months using every morning and night! great value $15 a month for a AWESOME PRODUCT ive spent so much more trying to find other ones! im amazed and will continue to use this forever! I am only 23 been using this for a year , its has improved my skin so much cleaner smoother ance scars are almost invisble and it works great with the foundations i use

Kate's 'Nourish' was better for me

I received both the Oil-free and the Nourish moisturizer as samples and tried both. I have dry skin and wasn't sure which would work for me but the oil-free definitely wasn't creamy enough. I used it in the morning under my SPF and foundation and looked terrible. I didn't break out or anything as i'm not acne prone but this is definitely NOT for someone who has dry skin.

Quick Take: lightweight
I use this moisturizer day and night during the summer and then only during the day in winter (followed by Kate's Nourish moisturizer at night). I find that they are a good combo for the crazy weather in Texas-- Together they balance out my skin.
