This Gentle ExfoliKate is one of the first products of Kate Somerville I've tried. I have very sensitive, dry, flaky skin, and nothing I was trying was working. So I tried the line of Kate Somerville sensitve products, like this one, and it's amazing. They recommend you use this after you wash your face (like get rid of the makeup and sunscreen kind of thing) and then use just a bit and rub it in for about a minute. They then say to leave it on for about two minutes to let the enzymes do their thing. It worked so well- the scrubbing particles are not harsh and are very effective yet gentle. I love leaving it on my skin- it's hard to describe just how soft and happy my skin feels when I've used this!

I have mild rosacea and dermatits that equals difficult skin. If I use this sparingly it works for me without burning or flare-up.
Leaves my face and neck/decolletage soft with no redness. I only use it every 10-15 days.

Quick Take: wonderful, great for sensitive skin, will def buy again
I have sensitive, combination skin. It's been very hard to find an exfoliant that wasn't too harsh for my sensitive skin. I was given a sample and fell in love. When I came in to buy it the price almost scared me away. I have to say it was worth the price and more! It lasted me about 9 months. I highly recommend this product! My skin feels smooth and polished!

At first I wasn't sure about this product because I 've never used enzyme exfoliating treatment before. I noticed my face turned red for about 20 min afterwards (as the label warns it will) and appeared to be dry and peel a bit. But all these side effects disappear quickly and it provides me much smoother instant feel to my face than any of the scrubs I have used before. The drying effect is not as intense as pure microabrasion products.

who thought an exfoliator could be so amazing?

I read a lot of reviews before I bought it and man were they right! I needed a new exfoliator so I thought I'd try something this. After the first wash I immediately had a glow! This is a little less pricey than the regular ExfoliKate too! It is really gentle and fine little grains. I use this with my Clarisonic and I'm set! I use twice a week and it does wonders!! Never looking back.

This is a great scrub all around. It is super gentle yet has enough 'scrubbies' to feel that its cleaning your skin. Its great for normal to oily skin! I use mine once every 1-2 weeks and keep it in the shower. The price is a little high I think however, it does tend to last you awhile if you use a pea size amount. I usually leave mine on for no more than 5 mins and my skin feels super smooth and soft. I have repurchased this 3 times already and is a must in my beauty routine.

I am confused..i might be doing something wrong because this product which is being raved about by everyone just doesn't work for me...i have used it religiously 2 times a week as per the instructions and i just don't see any noticeable difference...ANY !!! I somehow feel that my 85$ went down the drain...i should have tried a sample first...or wish they had a money back guarantee on a product which is their best seller. The lady at the Sephora counter convinced me in buying this versions instead of the regular intensive exfoliate and said that it will last me 9 months...psst...i think it wont go beyond 2...i want my money back...highly disappointed...for the money i spent..i feel cheated..

I have used many scrubs before, but I felt like they just made my acne worse. This one is by far the BEST one! It is super gentle and really helps to get rid of any pimples on the surface of your skin. The smell isn't too great, but all the ingredients are natural. I definitely reccommend this product to anyone looking for a gentle scrub or anyone with sensitive skin !

I got this by mistake and did not like it at all. I intended, and though I had ordered the 'regular' version. That one I love - including the pumpkin smell. This one may be ok for very sensitive, but for me I didn't feel it did anything.

LOVE how this product makes my skin feel during and afterwards! I have sensitive skin so I need to be careful about products I put on and very careful about exfoliating. Exfolicate is gentle enough to not irritate my skin and strong enough to do the job it claims! A little pricey, but worth the money!

I positively adore this product. I was skeptical of rave reviews at first, particularly considering the price tag. I kept hearing wonderful things; however, so I asked sephora for a sample. They gave me one in a contact sized container. Using it twice a week, it lasted nearly a month and a half and, boy, it made a huge difference. I finally purchased the full size. I have used scrubs but this is so much more. Its almost like getting a mini glycolic peel. My skin is fresh, glowing, and my pores look noticeably smaller. This is potential HG product.

My new favorite exfoliant! It has a very nice feel to it when you use it and this may sound weird but i literally felt it working. The smell was a little different (reminded me of pine trees?!) but once i saw the results which were smooth glowing skin, i couldnt complain about the smell. Works so much better and deeper than any other scrub out there and trust me, I've been scrubing my face with anything I can get my hands on since I was 16!

I got a sample of this and decided to give it a try. It did make my face super soft, and moisturized. It did not irritate my skin, and I tend to have mildly sensitive skin. My skin looked great afterward, and even pretty decent the next day. I did notice my pores being more noticeable the next day, which could be due to the exfoliation, or just an odd skin day. A warning though, this stuff smells odd. Not chemically, but more like an off eucalyptus smell. I did like that it was easy to apply and only needed to be left on for 2 minutes, unlike some other exfoliating products. Overall a descent product, odd smell, a bit pricey, but it does leave your skin super soft and gives you a nice healthy glow for a little while.

The perfect combination of gentle & effective. I have very sensitive skin, and this has the perfect amount of exfoliant. After using it, my skin feels smooth without being too tight/dehydrated. I can't imagine not having it!

I have been a steadfast Proactiv user for years, and the minute I switched to Kate Somerville's acne treatment regime my skin completely changed. This exfoliator is gentle and extremely effective. The texture and feeling it gives my skin when I use it is invigorating and really makes your skin feel soft and clean. Highly recommend it.
