Quick Take: milky, effective, good for removing makeup
this removes all makeup VERY WELL and then if you activate it with water, it becomes a milky, light cleanser but it does a darn good job. And then it leaves you super hydrated. Anyone who doesn't like the texture or after-feel of oil- STAY AWAY. Otherwise, it is worth every penny. Half a pump is usually enough for natural makeup wearers.

I purchased this product because the skin around my eyes had become very dry and sensitive, and I was looking for a makeup remover that would be gentler and less drying than what I was currently using. I have been pleasantly surprised at how well it works to remove makeup, and how it keeps the skin around my eyes moisturized, but doesn't cause breakouts elsewhere on my face. In fact, I would even say that the skin everywhere on my face has improved in appearance since I began using this product. My biggest reservations about trying this were the fear that it would not take my makeup off effectively (especially eye makeup), that it would make my breakout-prone skin even more oily and cause blemishes, and the price. None of these have proven to be a problem--even the cost ends up being the same or less than my old makeup removers, since you don't need to use much of the product, and so it lasts a long time. I have have been using this for about a month now, and the container is still nearly full. I am guessing that this will last me for at least six months, maybe even a year, and at that rate, it ends up being about the same cost-wise as what I was using before. Great product, I am very happy with it!

I keep coming back to AP's cleansing oil because it really is the best. It is pricier than others but a little goes a long way so a bottle really lasts quite a long time. It is easy to dispense and just as easy to move around your face. This is not one of those heavy oils and can even be used to take off eye makeup without irritation. Cleanses off fabulously leaving me with a clean complexion withou any residue. I especially love this cleanser during our dry winter months when my skin doesn't need any harsh, drying cleansers.

I have very sensitive acne prone skin. I was very skeptical about this cleansing oil and that it's little pricey. When I went to the sephora, the advisor from amore pacific suggested me to try some of their products. So he demonstrated it on my face and I noticed how my skin so much different after cleansing. So I decided to get this right away. And it removes light eye make up as well. I definitely recommend this product.

I had never heard of this product and tried it at the Sephora store in Santa Monica LA - I have very sensitive skin and it made my skin feel so soft - no stinging or itching. I am using a few of the products from this range and it is fabulous. I love it and will be ordering it again!

I love love love this cleansing oil!!! I am 33 with normal skin, somewhat sensitive and still a little prone to break out if I am not careful with it. We moved from a humid climate to a super dry area. My skin will get very dry sometimes here but a lot of moisturizers aggravate it or make me break out. This is perfect! Cleanses well, prevents breakouts and is a moisturizer. It has been a perfect solution.

An OK cleanser, just do not drop the bottle!!

I like how this cleanser made my skin feel. However, after using it for only a few times, the bottle fell off the bathtub edge into the tub. The top popped off and almost all of the product went down the drain. I cannot get the lid to snap back onto the bottle. VERY poor design and a bit heartbreaking to watch like $45 of product go down the drain, literally. I would give the product a 3, the container a 1!!

My skin is super oily, constantly I need to use those little "rice papers" to absorb a little of the oil my skin produces during the day, I bought the whole little kit for Amore Pacific including this amazing cleaner, it does not leave any oil, it makes your skin super clean, and super smooth, totally worthed to by, I love it so much that I am buying all the products little by little (other wise I would expend $500 in one shopping for this products) I Got the Toner, the Gel moisture bond, the eye gel and only didn't buy this cleaner because I still have left from the "package" I bought it.. Will buy as soon as what I have ends!
Buy it, you wont regret! I'm in love with their products.

I bought the entire line after meeting with one of the vendors... This line gave me the worst breakouts of my life! Most regretted purchase I've ever made. $1,500 later, I'm still trying to figure out how to get rid of these new zits and scars.

Quick Take: milky, effective, clean rinsing
These AmorePacific people love to see me go broke behind them. Slowly but surely, all of my Boscia and Nude products have been returned and exchanged for something in their line...
As I stated above, I used Boscia's Oil Cleanser and loved it until I realized that I didn't get ALL of my makeup off, even with an extra pump of oil (we're talking mascara and concealer)... I then tried Nude's Oil Cleanser which did the same thing, so I bought eye makeup remover and used that prior to using the product...
THEN I find out that AP has Oil Cleanser... I got a sample to test it out because I wasn't going to pay over $20 for something I had to buy 2 products for...
IT WORKED!
My mascara (waterproof) slid off and I was sold. A lot of people find AP's signature scent a bit much, but I ADORE IT! I continued to massage it into my face and then added water which made it slightly milky...
Like all of AP's products, it's rinsed VERY CLEAN and my face didn't show any signs of redness or irritation to my already acne prone and oily skin.
I agree that the price is high, but you also get a LOT MORE product than you would with other brands.
Buy a set and try everything out first... I guarantee you (if your skin is like mine), you'll be back in Sephora buying it all... well, not all... but I have the majority!

Takes off makeup and keeps face hydrated

My face has been crazy dry lately and this oil seems to keep the moisture in. I have to be careful though to avoid breakouts because of my combo skin, so I only use it when in the morning or to remove makeup. I think the scent is a bit overpowering at times for those with sensitive noses and skin, I wish it wasn't so perfume-like and more of a natural scent.

Quick Take: milky, extravagant, long-lasting
This is a wonderful cleanser--and I'm sure that it'll last me a long time--but the price doesn't quite justify it. Having combination/oily skin, I'm always searching for a few products to use in tandem (within a week or so), and this is definitely part of the 'routine' now. To be clear, the 'oil' never feels oily and actually leaves your skin less-so than it was before, which is remarkable. The scent is sublime. Having tried everything under the sun, this is a special product.

I love cleansing oils and this one did not disappoint. It's a little lighter than most cleansing oils, which I appreciated, but still rinsed off cleanly and removed every speck of eye make-up with minimal rubbing and zero irritation. So excited Amore Pacific is stateside now, but I wish they'd bring some of their less pricey offerings, too.

It's hard to believe that an oil can help balance oil, but it does. I've had acne prone skin since adolescence along with all the thing that accompany it and this by far the best cleanser I've come across. Gentle yet effective, my skin feels so moistened and hydrated afterward with no oily residue. I haven't gotten an acne flare-up since I've started using this cleanser. A little is all that's needed so I anticipate it lasting a while. Worth every penny.

I was hesitant on buying an oil to remove make-up since I have combination to oily skin, however I was noticing my soap based products were not removing all of my make up, especially my eye makeup. I absolutely love this product, two pumps on dry hands on a dry face, massage it around for a while, add a little bit of water, massage some more, rinse face and boom, done. No make up residue, no left over mascara that has dripped down my eyes the next day, nothing. And it doesn't leave a film on your skin or feel like it hasn't washed away completely. The only negative about this product is it has a flowery scent to it, and I hate scents (I am very sensitive to them). If they could just take this out this would be a perfect product.
