I was sooo disappointed in this product and as soon as I could replace it, I did. It wasn't moisturizing at all, and made the skin around my eyes feel tight and dry. My concealer did not go on over it smoothly, either. All the way around, a loser.
This product feels nice on the skin, however...the lines around my eyes change based on my diet, fluid intake, and whether I have been in the sun. So as far as moisturizers go, I'd say it's nice for the delicate skin around the eye.
I purchased this product approximately 2 weeks ago, I have been using it twice daily and it's tough to tell yet if it's working. I like the product and have not experienced any of the burning sensations others commented on.
I wanted an eye moisturizer that simply moisturized and protected my eyes from future aging (I'm 26) without feeling greasy. I am really pleased with this product. It blends well under makeup and doesn't leave buildup during the day. Night- it's a good moisturizer. I can't vouch for any anti-aging results but that's not why I purchased it.
My dark circles are not that deep to begin with, and I had been using the Eye Hope for 2 weeks now, I made the decision to buy it based on reviews. It is understandable though that it will work wonders for some and not for others, unfortunately for me no results whatsoever, Right now, I am in the process to decide it I should keep using it for 6 weeks, since some people say they saw results after 6 weeks, so I will have 4 more wks to go, or just return it, which it will probably just be an exchange because I can't find the receipt. Grrr. One thing before I forget, it was not flaky at all for me, or caused any issues with my make up at all, just did not do anything for my subtle dark circles. Quick Take: brightening, soothing, rich, none greasy, not to heavy
I have used this product now for almost a year. I originally bought the "Make-Up Optional" Kit and a sample of the Eye Hope was in it. After using the sample I bought the full size bottle and LOVE IT!! I really does what is says it will. Takes away the puffieness under the eyes and over the eyes and helps with the wrinkles. I use it two times daily and I think it's great!
As far as eye creams go, this has worked for me relatively well. Compared to other, less expensive products, I don't think it's worth the price. Also, it would be better in a jar. The pump gets clogged easily.
As you get to be a certain age, nature takes it course. I have the beginnings of crows feet and some puffiness under my eyes. I have noticed that after only a few days, the puffiness is dimishing and the crows feet are not so noticeable. My only negative comment is that you have to wait two minutes after applying to put on anything else (I am very impatient).
I typically love most of Philosophy's products, but their eye products over all have been very disappointing for me. I didn't notice and change after 2 months of use. Also, it gets sort of crumbly under makeup. It does make the skin soft, but that wasn't what I was really looking for as I thought it had more anti-aging properties. I didn't see any change in wrinkles or dark circles.
Fabulous product....says it takes 6 weeks to achieve maximum benefit, but in two weeks the difference is amazing. No more puffiness,darkness is not gone yet but dramatically improved. Eyelids much smoother. Love this product.
This eye cream feels great going on and I notice a positive difference from using it. I have repurchased this product once and plan on continuing to use it.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the product doesn't pump consistently out of the container. Sometimes more comes out with a pump than at other times.
This product is concentrated and a little goes a long way, making this more economical to use than it first appears, especially considering how multi-tasking the product it. I love how this eye cream absorbs smoothly into my skin.
For years I have had dark circles under my eyes and I have tried several different products. This is by far the best product I have ever used. It is very thick and creamy with out being too heavy and or greasy. I use it both in the morning and at night after i wash my face. To make the bottle last longer don't use a full pump, I use less then a pea size amount for both eyes and it is more then enough product.
