Quick Take: long lasting, stink free, easy to use
I have the cutest little dress to wear this holiday season, but my shoulders and legs are very bare! I just used this and the difference is fantastic. I was weary, I had had bad self tanner experiences before, but I was desperate.

Quick Take: gradual, not long lasting, light in color
This was easy to apply and gave nice, even color once it developed, but it wore off more quickly than any other self tanner I've tried--within about a day. The smell was mild and unoffensive.
I am fair skinned, and it showed up on me as more of a glow than an actual tan, so I don't think it would show up much at all on medium or dark skin tones. I will not be repurchasing.

This self tanner applied easily and left a streak-free tan, but I found the color to be a little yellowy for my skin. Also, it had a strong smell that lingered on my sheets days after I used it.

This product smells great and does the job but didn't work the best for me. I have a medium skin tone and I only noticed a slight difference in my color after applying it for 3 days straight. I think it would be better for someone with fair skin who wants a subtle tan. If you're looking for a deep, golden tan, this isn't the product.

This stuff works fast! Put it on in the morning, and your color will have developed noticably by the time you hit cocktail hour. Be careful of using too much too often. It develops so quickly that if I just want some natural color in the dead of winter, I only need to apply about twice a week.

Quick Take: beyond fabulous
I have been using Clarins gel auto bronze for ever; wanted to switch it up and try something new. Hampton Sun will be my "forever" product. Its' even better than Clarins and I would have given Clarins a 5. This self tanner is a 5+. Quick, great color even with one application on my fair skin. You cannot miss with this one. So glad I decided to break out and try something new. This will keep me looking like I've just returned from the slopes in Aspen all winter long.

Yup works pretty darn good. I took it to 4 coats last time. Kind of experimentation. It really darkened me up. However, it was kind of a yellowy tan too. I think all self tanners have that as a tradeoff. If your looking for a real dark color it's best to combine it with a natural tan. At the recommended 2 coats it just gives me some color w/o the yellow which is good enough I guess. .

Quick Take: easy to use
I liked this sunless tanning gel and it was definitely easy to use -no streaking, staining, or fussing. It did slightly tan my skin, but then it gave me hives. I think honestly, that it was just a bad reaction to my sensitive skin, and that on someone who does not have sensitive skin it would be fine. I was happy with the fact that the smell was not horrible like some of the other sunless tanners that I've tried. I would recommend giving this one a try.

I can't believe all the compliments I received when I used this product on my face and legs. Everyone thought I went away for the weekend. Needed to get rid of the winter white. This did the trick. Smells good, no streaks, dries quickly. Applied two coats. I was naturally dark. My legs never tan. With this product they look tanned! This is my second bottle.

Quick Take: good color, no smell, natural looking
This is without a doubt my favorite sunless tanner. Not only does it provide a really natural color, it actually smells good. My boyfriend used to complain about my skin smelling bad when I used other self tanners but ever since I started using Hampton Sun he hasn't said a word! I'm not sure how they do it but whatever they're doing, it works. I couldn't be without it!

This sunless tanning gel never fails me!! It is my absolute fav. I just applied last night, woke up this AM and I look like I hit the beaches. I did two applications as it notes for a darker tan and it is perfect color! My boyfriend asked me what smelled like brown sugar last night before I went to sleep and I couldn't help but laugh and say, "actually, my sunless tanning gel"! Anything that passes the scent test as positive with a guy is an A in my book! (especially when sunless tanners always smell TERRIBLE!)

They would be a tint in the gel so I can see what I am doing and where the gel is going. I also have a hard time with the smell. It smells like the lotion moldy, but it's new, so there is no mold.

I am elderly, though still want to look as good as possible. I was using tan towels for color, but they were too drying. Quick Take: smells nice, natural color, worth the price
Besides the usual things I look for in a self tanner (great natural color, no streaking, etc.) this product is also amazing because it has qualities I never realized a self tanner could have: it doesn't just not smell like DHA, it smells really really good...and it actually moisturized my skin. I've never had a self tanner leave my skin feeling softer than when I didn't have it on! To me that makes it worth the price because I'm getting a natural looking tan AND multiple benefits!

This was my second tube of Hampton Sunless Tanning Gel, and it won't be the last! The gel gives me good, natural-looking color, moisturizes and smells wonderful! The color lasts for days; not quite so long on my legs because I shave them every day in the summer. This is my new summer must-have!

The problem with this is that it literally lasts one weekend so by the time you're all tan, you have no lotion left to sustain your tan and the price is so high that it seems a little silly to buy it again. I don't think I'll buy this again.
