Frederic Fekkai 8N Medium Blonde- 02.28.10
Quick Take: superb
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! the color is subtle, warm, completely covers grey and left my hair feeling silky and thicker. Having spent a mint over the years at various hair salons to get color inferior to this -- I'm never going back!

So So- 02.26.10
Quick Take: good quality - highly priced
I have been using Fekkai for the past several months. The last two hair colorings seem to not get the great results I first got. First of all, I always condition - the conditioner provided is great. I am following directions. The color seems to be flat. I am thinking like anything else, it is "immunity"; products don't always deliver the same results every time. I am going back to the less expensive hair color. It was really good at first, but after about 6 months of using Fekkai - so so.

nice color- 02.21.10
Quick Take: does not damage your hair, does not cover white hair
This is my third time purchasing the same color. I like that it is nice to your hair, does nor dry out the ends. I have used drugstore brands and had my hair colored in high end salons this is the best in terms of damage control. I gave only 4 stars because it does not cover whites at all. I have only a few white hair on my crown and every time I color with this brand the whites are there.

healthier color- 02.20.10
Quick Take: less damaging worth every penny
This is the second time I have used the color. It definitely lasts longer and is less damaging than store brands. I do think some of the colors may tend to have a green cast. I wish there were more colors to chose from, but overall I will continue to use this color, worth every penny and leaves hair very shiny!

Fabulous!- 02.19.10
Well, I would like to say that I have paid a lot of $ to have my hair done. I am blonde but my hair pulls a lot of red by nature. Therefore, I would like to say that at first there is a bit of strawberryness, but if evens out to a beautiful blonde mix like the box. So go ahead and give the awesome product a try and it is healthy and wonderful...all for only $30!!!!

Worth It--Especially those with Grays- 02.16.10
I buy this color exclusively and bypass the cheaper grocery store brands. Why?? a. It lasts and lasts--I don't have to color my hair as often. My roots show before the grays start shining through. b. Covers the grays very well compared to other brands and doesn't wash out after a few shampoos. Store brands would leave my hair dull after I washed it a few times. I luv this stuff

had to re-color my hair within a week!- 02.14.10
Quick Take: not effective on grays longterm
Not what it's cracked up to be when it comes to keeping the gray at bay! Literally had to re-color my hair within a week to re-cover the gray and don't wash my hair every day and never wash it for three days after coloring. So this product gets a huge thumbs down from me! Color looked great first few days and smells awesome but for the price tag I need more than a week out of it!

Not a Good Product- 02.12.10
This dried my hair worse then when I have used a drug store box dye. Usually I go to the salon but decided to try this dye instead, I REGRET IT!!!

Great & Easy Color- 01.28.10
Quick Take: ion hair color kit
Ok, first I did the trip to Sally Supply to try ION color, but realized I was missing half of what I needed, so I opted to try Sephora's $30 kit which included conditioners, trays, brush all I needed. I do love using ION's color protective shampoo afterwards as it keeps the color fresh not brassy. (I tried using John Frida highlighting afterwards but turned it many shades), so used ION after that and color refreshed itself. Getting many compliments! give it a try

Quick Take: worth the extra money
Although the product is much pricier than drugstore hair color, I thought it was totally worth it! My color looks very natural and 3 weeks after coloring it still looks great. I agree with other reviewer comments that the Fekkai blondes are darker than other brands but I think that is what makes them so natural. It is somewhat difficult to put on so I had my husband help me.

Turned Brassy- 01.02.10
Quick Take: not really better
My hair is originally Ash brown with highlights...The color did look great at first, but now I'm in my 4 week, and I have had people ask me if I dyed my hair red, especially on top where highlights have grown out...then after they have asked, no one has said it looks good. Bummed out because my hair does feel healthly.

Like but the Jury is still out!- 12.24.09
Quick Take: expensive, gives nice results but not perfect on grays!, leaves hair feeling silky
Used today and love the shine and yes my hair does seem to have fuller body after coloring. However, I was quite worried that there wouldn't be enough product to color my hair! I have medium length hair and found that I really had to work to spread it throughout my hair so consequently by the time the 35 minute processing time elapsed, the ends of my hair were dry as a bone! Good job it matched my original color well huh!?! I like it but I'm not sure that $30 is such a deal when obviously I would have to buy two kits to color my hair and given I color every three weeks....... Yeah, it would get very expensive!

Just what I wanted- 12.19.09
So, I have highlighted hair that I'm too lazy to keep up with anymore. My natural hair color is probably a shade 7, and my highlights are probably a 9. I felt like the underside of my head looked really dark, and the top looked really blonde. I didn't want to wipe out my highlights, just blend the roots in a little. I liked the bowl-and-brush system, maybe since I was mostly targeting roots. I did a modified root application, I did all my roots first, then went back and went over the ends without waiting the entire 30 minutes it recommends in the instructions. I did chuck the brush to do the ends. I didn't think the smell was that bad, but my husband, who is a chemical engineer, about fell over, so the jury's out on that. I was a little nervous while the color was setting, I could see my roots getting really light. But after I rinsed and dried, I was really pleased. My roots were lightened just a bit, I could still see my highlights, and everything just looked nicely blended. I agree with the folks who were underwhelmed by the conditioner- not bad, but I've gotten as good or better from the drugstore. I would definitely buy this again, I'll probably start alternating this and highlights.

Best I've Ever Used- 12.11.09
Loved this product. Using the bowl and brush took some practice but the color came out great and I can't believe the wonderful condition of my hair. I've been trying to color my own hair to save some money at the salon. This product is the first one that has given me natural looking color and salon quality results. I will definitely use it again, although I may try it a shade lighter.

Pretty color- 11.29.09
Quick Take: pretty natural color
The color is very pretty and looks natural. I really wanted to cover my too blonde highlights and go for an all natural color...I think once the highlights grow out I will be able to achieve that affect. Right now you can see the line between highlights and the color. I thought salon quality color would have covered the highlights. It did darker them up, but I'm thinking in couple of weeks, the color will fade and they will appear very light again...we will see and I will post an update.
