The color is true to the box. Thought it was easy to use and it is lasting so far, but it helps that I use Wen hair cleanser and not shampoo. My hair is soft and shiny and did not cover my highlights but made them look even better. Am planning another purchase of a little darker color for winter. This hair color did not damage my hair, in fact it feels better than ever.

Provided shiny, even coloring, without redness or brassiness. A little pricey for the results (about the same price as a single process color at my salon), but easier than trying to book a salon appointment. The brush wasn't really worth the effort, I wound up using my hands to apply most of the color.

Nice color, nice condition, but still fades- 10.20.09
Quick Take: fantastic at first but definitely fades
It's been two weeks, and with all my effort with low-sulphate shampoos and appropriate conditioners, this was a wonderful color that simply faded as all the others do. So, not worth the price or the effort having it shipped since most stores do not carry this anyway.

This color is very good but pricey. The process for coloring is lengthy but the results are worth it. I have not yet gained the exact color shown on the box and I have used this particular formula about three times. In fact I would really enjoy the color on the box to be on my hair! However, the color leaves my hair in good condition and lasts longer than drugstore brands. Tip -- leave the color on longer than the suggested time for a better result.

Quick Take: truly high end salon quality, gives you amazing natural color, no brassiness or weird ashy tones, silky texture, made my hair feel like when i was 20!
I am so happy Fekkai made this product available to the public. What I used to spend at salons was more than triple the price and horrible results. It smelled wonderful; my tender delicate scalp did not burn; my hair has a wonderful glisten to it. I am predominantly gray, so as with all hair color products, I usually get 3 shades lighter than the box and it fades. This is not the case with Fekkai. Although it is a little lighter than the box, I have a beautiful, natural glisteny blond with low lights and high lights. The gray is covered! How does this happen? The application was simple. I truly love the texture and amazing color of my hair. I would always recommend shampoos low in sulphates or no sulphates, because this fades hair drastically. If you are going to invest in a good hair color such as Fekkai, get the "good stuff" to go with it. In the future, I may go "darker" for winter - excited about trying new colors down the road. This product does not damage like other products. Buy it! It is amazing!

Very easy to use --- creamy ---- plenty of product for my thick hair. I was a little concerned with my highlighted hair but the coverage(some grey roots) turned out great and very natural looking. Even my boss who never notices anything asked if I had done something to my hair. AND --- my husband even did the application this time. I went with a 8N to avoid any additional warmth. True coverage --- not darker like other reviewers said.

I waited until I had used this 4 times before writing a review , because I realize for some of us using a new hair color is a big deal. I do not live by a Sephora , so I was really nervous . What I got was very shiny , very soft hair . I have below shoulder length hair with some grey , and it turned out very nice . I found the steps very easy . and the color , to be professional , but what happens 4 weeks into the color for me is the deal clincher ...(I was used to color that changed , first is was ashy , the next week lighter , the dry , and then the brassy color we all hate , This color doesn't fade, to that color , that begs you from every reflective service to re apply the color , and fast ! It really honestly is a superior product , one that I would recommend to a friend , and I think it is well worth the price , I love my hair .

I was skeptical even while I was putting the color on. My roots were much darker than the rest of my hair, and I know color doesn't lift color and I was terrified that it would lift my roots to a higher level than the rest. I was more than pleasantly surprise when I finished styling my hair. It's gave me all over even color. My hair doesn't feel crazy healthy afterwards, feels exactly the same as if I'd done it with a Sally's brand color..but the convince of everything in one box was SOOOO worth the $30.00!! And the pre color treatment smells amazing!

If you have ever used a Fekkai product, you already know this is great! For those of you who haven't, you have no idea what you are missing! Easy to use! Smells great! Amazing color! And my hair looks and feels better! Plenty of after conditioner to last at least another month after color (use 1x a week with a shower cap)! Will purchase again!

I have used many drug store and Sally Beauty supply hair dyes. This is by far the prettiest color I have used. It has not faded yet and covered all my grey as well.
