If you can't make it to the salon, USE THIS- 10.13.09
I've been doing at-home hair colouring for several years now and I find that this is the best kit I've used so far. It's very hydrating and the colour doesn't really fade. Also, I only had to use one box for my super-long hair, instead of buying 2 at the drugstore. The colour turned out very nicely and I'd like to try others in the future.

Quick Take: good stuff, worth the cost, will buy again
I think this hair color is definitely better quality than what you can get at the drugstore. And since it is much less expensive than the salon, it is a good deal. I used 7W and the color i got was a little more auburn than i was hoping, but nothing bad (i have ended up with purple hair in the past....that was bad). My hair was in good condition post-coloring and after almost two weeks, the color is still like new and the condition is good too. I will use it again, but i will probably try a cool or neutral shade.

Quick Take: worth the money, leaves hair in super condition, better than drugstore color by far!
I typed a review and it magically disappeared. I actually typed it right after I colored my hair, and I have since then, changed my opinion on the color. My initial impression was that it was way too dark. It has been about 13 days and it has lightened considerably. I has a nice tone variation to it now that it has been a few weeks. Intially it was a flat color...very shiny though, but no highlights. I think the highlights make it so much more natural.

No time to cover gray at a salon? This product covers gray lickety-split and leaves hair with softness and shine. It costs $30 but is worth every penny. I do my own hair color and root touch ups myself and what I save in doing so, use for highlights at the salon. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

I have highlighted my hair blond for years. My natural is medium brown. I choose 7W Dark Golden Blonde because I wanted a brown and knew that would probably turn out darker than a Dark Golden Brown. Was the right choice for me. The colour is pretty true to box, especially the hair right after the highlighted piece at front.
Process was easy to use.

Best at home colour- 08.09.09
I decided to try this at home colour since it claimed to be "professional" colour. It came out exactly as on the box and the little brush makes it much easier to apply than other at home products. The quality is also excellent, my hair was soft and shiny directly after colouring and is still in great shape.

I ordered the product online and when it came it, the box was open and was missing a brush. I still gave this product 5 starts since this review is not for quality of packaging/shipping. Even though i had to improvise with my own brush/comb collection, the result was outstanding. I loved it. I have to agree with other people, the color is definitely not dark blond, but rather light/medium brown. Mine turned out to have a reddish hue to it.

really great coverage! looks completely natural and doesn't agitate your scalp at all. only problem is it goes on probably 2-3 shades darker than the box says. I got Dark Golden Blonde and ended up with dark brown! it is fading nicely though...

I purchased the dark Golden Blonde and my hair was sooo dark I looked GOTH. I freaked. Sephora was great and let me retun a empty box but after ONE month I am starting to like my hair again. I had to get the glossing stufff because my hair looked DULL. Fekkai has great products but BUYER BEWARE on this awful product!

Quick Take: lovely
I have tried many drugstore brands, and a few from the beauty supply store too- the best thing is the resulting color really nice, not brassy, not too dark right after dying, and very true to the actual color from the first day now through to the 3rd week - will definitely purchase again. This ended up as a medium warm brown on me. (My natural color is dark cool brown)

i'm 45 and have about 35% gray hair. excellent gray coverage-true to box color result-very even color all over, and hair feels great! i will definitely be back for more of this one for roots every 5 weeks. also the bowl and brush application is alot less messy than squirt bottle type (did not find it on floor behind me!).

I had read other reviews before trying this product, so I bought a shade lighter than what I would normally use, knowing it would turn out darker than the color on the box. This is a light brown, not a dark blonde. The product doesn't smell bad, which is a plus. Gray coverage is better than any other boxed color I have used, but I could see a few grays again a couple weeks after coloring. The color turned out nicely.
