Quick Take: the best on the market
After 20 years of dying my hair, I have finally found the perfect product. I am about to try this color (Jennifer) because I have been using Lara, and although the tones in Lara are gorgeous, I feel it's a little bit lighter than what I want. I don't want to go all the way to black, so I am going to try 1 shade darker. There are so many shades for each hue, you really get a lot to choose from, and I like that all the shades occur in nature. So you don't end up with purple or pink hair. The products are high quality, it smells great, and my hair (including the grays) are so super shiney afterward. I ALWAYS get compliments on my hair. Way to go Freddie!

I have never dyed my hair using a store bought product and I definitely was apprehensive using this product. I used this about a month ago and I cant believe how the color is still good and how healthy my hair is. This is probably the best hair dye that has been on my hair even compared to the salon products! It was easy to apply and included everything I would need. The color was a little darker than I expected, its a lot closer to black but after a couple of washes its exactly what I want. The next time i'm going to dye my hair at home I am definitely going to use Frederic Fekkai products.

Wrong Color- 02.22.10
I've used this hair dye in the past and thought the color wasn't dark enough... so now I've tried the Dark Brown and it's too dark! I don't look good with next to black hair... I just can't win!!!

Quick Take: professional quality
I thought I had to give up coloring my hair at home because the drugstore brands no longer covered my gray hair. With Fekkai my hair looks like it was colored at a salon without the salon cost. Love this hair product.

Quick Take: salon quality at home
This is the first time I've tried Fekkai color, although I've been using the Glossy haircare line for a while. Highly recommended! My hair looks healthy and super shiny! Great stuff. Brushing on the color was a bit harder than the usual "squeeze bottle" method most home prods come with, but even so, the color came out evenly and all my gray was covered.

Quick Take: easy, doesn't smell, doesn't drip, makes my hair feel healthier, expensive
My hair color is dark and glossy, plus it wasn't smelly or runny. My hair felt soft and healthy afterwards. I think, though, for me, spending $30 to do it myself was kind of a hassle, and I don't have a lot of time for things like this. The process alone took an hour, plus then I had to shower it out, and then dry my hair. I could go to the salon, and actually relax while someone else does it for me. Although the salon would cost me $90 by the time I tip everyone who walked past me, it's actually just easier. I did notice that the one gray hair I have is showing through and it's only been a couple of weeks. For at home, it was easy and luxurious, didn't smell or drip, so in that respect I'm happy. But I usually get glossier hair at the salon, which could also be because of the professional styling afterwards. Take it with a grain of salt. 4 out of 5 stars.

Quick Take: amazing, worth its weight in gold
I usually will go to Sally's Beauty Supply to buy my hair products. On a whim I saw this in one of the stores and decided to spend the extra money because it was new. I will NEVER use anything else to color my hair again! It didn't bleed every time I shampooed, the color lasted so very long and the payoff was AMAZING. I constantly get compliments on how "pretty" my hair looks because of how shiny and healthy it looks. And thats even after its been in a month or so. And it covers gray hair very very well.

Great... for the first two weeks.- 01.21.10
Excellent results at first, but then the color fades and washes out of my roots in about two weeks - and I don't wash daily. It does condition nicely and make it shiny and glossy, but it has the staying power of a semi-permanent, which, for the cost, is annoying.

AMAZING!!!!- 01.13.10
Quick Take: worth every penny!
I have now used this twice, and I could not be more pleased. As opposed to 'drugstore' brands that always left me with lighter roots no matter what color I choose, this blends beautifully. I have very thick, curly hair and there was more then enough to cover it all. Instead if the 3-4 weeks I normally got, it lasts between 7-8! No dry, fizz prone hair at the end either. The pre and post treatments are great!

Quick Take: effective, lasts, darker then the photo
First time useing it i was a little sceptical of the price and because i had never heard of it but i decided to take a chance and i wanted to die my light brown hair darker. I had expected dark brown, but the results came out soft. Black to be honest i freaked out i had black hair! But after a few washes it truley does fade into a beautiful color which has lasted longer then any drug store brand i ever used. Hair was soft shiny just flawless. So worth the money its quality pure quality

OVERALL: As far as at home color, this is the *best* I have ever used. And I have tried them all. It also is better then some salon color I have had. COLOR: I used 4N (Dark Brown). It is a very very dark rich brown, almost black. Neutral tone.
PROS: Radiant Shine! I can't get over how nicely this treated my hair. The color is true and has not faded. It covered all my gray, its been a few weeks now and the gray is a *tiny* bit lighter then the rest, but the color has held and better then all other at home coloring kits. CONS: Only available at Sephora as far as I know. It also uses a brush application, which is difficult to take care of the back of your own head if self-dying. PRICE: $30 USD

color is true to picture on box- 12.09.09
Quick Take: true to color
I love this dye because the color really is true to what you see on the box, I first purchased this online but I was nervous because I didnt know how my hair was going to turn out, usually box dyes that are labelled "dark brown" turn my hair black, but luckily this really did just make my hair dark brown.
my only complaint is that it takes 25 minutes to process but other then that this truely is a great product and I would definatly buy it again.
oh and it also comes with a fairly large sized tube of the 3 minute mask which is really nice, it makes your hair smell and feel amazing.
