Great colour!!- 11.18.09
Quick Take: doesn't fade fast, nourishing, rich
So far so good!! Coloured my hair two days ago and have washed twice since and I don't notice any fading! People have to realize this IS dark brown and dark brown is well.. DARK, so if you find it to be too dark, go a shade lighter obviously!! It is a great, rich, deep dark brown which I love :) Hair doesn't feel as damaged as it normally would, I love it!

Quick Take: best home color i have found
This is a great, long-lasting hair color that leaves your hair shiny and in better condition than before. I have think curly hair and this hair color seals the cuticle and the color looks very natural. Fekkai would do well in marketing a "touch up" kit for half the price that is just enough to cover new growth.

BEST home Hair Color!- 11.03.09
Quick Take: amazing!
I have been coloring my own hair for quite some time, so I have tried just about everything out there. This is by far the BEST at home hair color I've used. It's easy to apply, the resulting color had great depth and richness, and the color says on. Additionally, this particular color is a great, deep brown without being red or auburn. I definitely recommend it. I'm a big fan of the 'pre color' treatment for drier ends, because it allows for more even color absorption. All around great product.

Great Color and Shine- 10.13.09
So far so good - the color is vibrant and hair is shiny... if it has solid staying power, II'll stick with it.
Skip the bowl and brush in the box - the shallow bowl isn't big enough to mix in and ended up with a big mess, the brush is tiny andflimsy - more trouble than they're worth.

I Can Fire My Colorist- 10.09.09
Quick Take: salon quality, easy to apply, easy on the nose
I am timid in the extreme when it comes to hair color. I only ventured into this territory when the random gray strands became a bit less random. My colorist did a terrific job of covering the nasties and matching my very dark natural color (which I love) and keeping my hair glossy with some Italian or Japanese color but at $150+ a pop I was relieved I only needed to color 1-2 times a year. After reading the NY Times story on this color I decided to be bold and give it a go. Sorry colorist: you're fired! This color is a lovely match to my natural shade, so much so that even my 16 year old daughter with her sharp penetrating gaze didn't know I had colored my hair. She just thought I looked "great, really vibrant" one day. Admittedly, my hair isn't especially troublesome in terms of condition; it's neither especially dry, damaged, unruly, dull, etc. Just pretty normal. And thick. But not coarse. So I don't need a lot of special attention or correction. I just want my hair to look like there are NO grays. The extra shine is a bonus! Having never used other at-home coloring systems I can't compare this bowl method to whatever other methods are out there, but having seen my stylist apply color this way it was very easy to apply. Obviously the back of the head is trickier but that's a factor of not having eyes back there. Or hands. I think the color lasts a long time but because the color is such a good match for my natural color there are no roots to betray colored hair from new growth. Be warned though: my hair is very dark brown. Almost black. So if your hair is more "darkish" you may want to go a shade lighter.

This is an excellent at-home permanent brush-on haircolor product. i have used several drug-store brands and i find this one to be superb. it is pricier than the others, but the color is true and rich and totally covers the gray areas. It comes with a bowl and brush which i find easier to use.

this product was good. I was worried about it leaving my roots a lighter shade than my hair like all drugstore brands do. But it didn't. It was easy to apply and the color was exact, although I already had darkish brown hair. The only complaint I have with this product is that my hair still smells like hair color a week later, after several shampoos. Overall worth saving the bucks at the salon for sure.

Gorgeous!- 09.28.09
This is not my first experience with this product - I have previously used Juliet 5N, but wanted to go with a darker look for fall. I am so happy that I did. This will be my new shade. It is beautiful! I will say that it is very dark - almost black. But it almost looks like I have highlights. The color is so shiny and beautiful. I am very happy with it!

I used this product once before but the golden brown, this time I tried dark brown. I like the product, and it might just be my hair but both times I found they were darker than appeared on the box. Especially the dark brown, my hair had a black tinge to it.

I must admit, I was really nervous using this product but this colour has been amazing for me. It covered my gray, and did a great job of colouring my roots to match the rest of my hair. I went to my stylist for a haircut the same day I did the colour and she was amazed that I got the results I did from a box dye. Despite the fact that it was a pain to colour my own hair, I will get this again to save on salon costs.

I am pretty used to dying my hair at home and wanted to buy this hair dye since it is supposed to be similiar to salon color. Although the color is a really pretty brown and very shiny, my hair came out exteremely uneven...and considering I have dyed my hair at least 15-20 times at home , I was really disappointed how uneven the color came out. I would use this product again just be very very careful that I apply the color very evenly. I will say that I did go in the sun for 2 days straight after I dyed it and it has not faded at all which is a major plus!

Quick Take: a great money saver!!
I bought this product trying to save money by not having to continue having my brown hair recolored every month from fading. I The staying power is great and I will definitely buy again. I have to say I am extremely impressed and I love that my hair feels healthy. It has been almost 2 months and it still looks like i colored it yesterday.

While this Fekkai color did make my hair feel healthy and sleek it didn't cover my dreaded grays and faded in almost a weeks time, granted I do spend a lot of time at the pool but other color products I've used lasted MUCH longer.

This product has made me give up my colorist. I have tried numerous times to do my own hair with poor results. This color actually does not fade or look brassy after a few weeks. It also comes with conditioning mask that is awesome.
