Great product for at home color, it lasts as long as salon color and is almost impossible to mess it up! It comes with a mixing bowl and brush, so you can color with precision! I was told the line won't be carried anymore though, and am not happy!

Pretty Color - Salon Quality- 02.09.10
I decided to use this color because the salon had quoted me $100 + to dye my hair black, which to me seems pricey for a basic all over black dye job. This color really does what it says. It added softness, shine, and even thickness to my hair. It repaired damage from my highlights, and the color is really pretty. It looks very dark, almost jet black as apposed to soft black. Also, if you have thick/long hair, use two boxes. I ran out, and now the bottom of my hair and the ends are dark brown instead of black!

Quick Take: awesome
This is the best 'store' bought hair color I have ever come across. The smell is extremely tolerable in comparison to drugstore brands. It's well worth the extra few dollars. It colors gray well. It can be a little messy to work with a brush when you have long hair but I don't have time for salon visits myself. Highly recommend for at home coloring.

i decided to give it a try over the weekend. I fell in love. The color is beautiful, your hair is left so nice and soft. Its as if you went to the salon to get it done. So this is the next best thing ... if u cant get to the salon..this is perfect.

The Absolute Best I've Ever Used!- 09.24.09
At first I panicked, the solution wasn't turning the proper color. After quick call to the hotline, I was assured the color will turn to the proper shade. And yes, it did. This treatment has left my hair unbelievably soft and shiny. I went from swearing to never use this product ever again to promising to never use anything else. Off to purchase Fekkai shampoo & conditioner to help keep my hair looking this good!

Quick Take: great!
I gave one to a friend who was complaining about how she has color resistant hair. I had to have her try this because so far there is no better product. I have tried many a coloring product. This one is by far the best and the longest lasting. You can see it by the time your roots grow out. All the rest is a gorgeous uniform color. I am hooked and will continue to use the product. I have never been so happy with a product!!!

I will use this again and again! Perfect for my light/medium brown natural color. This color is bright, shiny, and doesnt fade! $30 definatly better than the $100 at a salon. I recomend this to anyone who loves dark brown/black hair. Truely a great buy! Start with your roots and then work your way to ends, Do not get on skin, it is permanent! The timeing on box is exact!

I colored my own hair with the soft black and I LOVE it! I have been getting my hair professionally colored forever. It had been like 2 months since my last color which was darkest brown (3n) and my natural color was definatly showing, which is lighter brown. I had a little help from my boyfriend for the back but it turned out great. Very soft, shiny, and healthy looking. It looks better than salon color and I have gotten many compliments. It has not faded at all like salon! I reccomend it to all my dark haired friends already. The crazy thing is I have blond streaks in my hair so I had to foil them to protect them from black. Risky but it totally worked out. So very worth it. Just be careful because this stuff is permanent so when its on your skin, its a pain to get off. Oh and I have long hair, and I definatly had a lot extra. Just do ALL your roots first and then work the ends, that way you get full coverage without running out. Be patient and have someone to give you a hand (no experience is fine) and the timeing that the box says is Perfect. No less, no more!

I love this dye. My hair is shinier than when I payed twice as much at the salon. It smells great. It's easy. I would definitely recommend this product. Be sure to get some petroleum jelly for your hair line so that your skin isn't stained. I missed my ears and now one is stained. The results are beautiful though!

I was looking for a product that was not to hard on my hair and lets face it, I have long hair so the salon is out of the question as it gets tooooo pricey. So, i took a chance and I loved it. It was not hard on the hair and my hair still felt smooth afterwards. Will purchase again!!!

Not like drugstore color!- 06.30.09
No drugstore brand can compare to this. I can't believe it but my hair is actually shiny! It left my hair really soft and I don't even get these results from the salon. My hair has been matte black for years. I will continue using this one. Follow the directions, don't leave it on over 35 min to get shiny results.

Great color, but messy- 06.29.09
The color is great and I've received a lot of compliments. It does seem like a higher quality than what I've purchased previously. I do prefer using a bottle though- the bowl and the brush- I don't know, I made a huge mess. Even though I tried to immediately get the color off my skin- it was very difficult to remove.

Quick Take: wonderful, easy to use, worth every penny
I have been coloring my own hair for two years and this is by far the best box at home color I have found-It left my hair soft shiny and in better condition than when i started.It has a great consistancy that did't drip all over you and the brush made getting the roots covered a breeze.The only thing I would change when I re-order it is that I would get one shade lighter-It is a true dark black -slightly darker than soft black in the drug store brands.

Marvelous!!!- 06.05.09
This product is amazing! Normally I have a problem with my hair retaining the color but my hair still looks great nearly a month after coloring. The pre and post conditioning really left my hair very soft.
