I bought this concealer in custard/ginger when it was on sale for $10. Overall I think it's pretty good. It covers dark circles and blemishes pretty well but is VERY drying. At first it was really nice, it blended in wonderfully with my skin color and lasted SO long, but overtime I noticed dryness under my eyes. I think it may also be because it is not very creamy and I used my fingers so it may have been because of excess tugging. Other than that I think it was worth $10 but definitely not worth $30. I will not be purchasing it again.

Quick Take: too dry
to Nars products. I got this when it was offered at $10. The color was a great match but it was so dry that whether I used a little bit or added more, whether I had eye creme under it or not, it clumped. For a time I was using just on my lids to at least get some use out of it, but I have better products for that and in the end just tossed it.

Good Price, Okay Coverage.- 02.15.10
Quick Take: lightweight
I got this concealer when it was ten dollars and I thought it was a steal and was so excited because it was NARS. So I have dark circles and blackheads so thats what I wanted concealer for and this one did the trick for me. The lighter one brightened up my eyes and the darker side evened out my complexion. I think it's great, but it's too expensive for me to re-purchase. Good value at the time though =]

i got this when it was on sale for 10$ and im glad i did i will not be purchasing this again i have serious dark circles that need heavy coverage this provides very light coverge and you need alot just to get medium coverge its very creamy texture but the coverge is not good not worth 30 bucks

I got the Custard/Ginger duo when it was on sale for $10. I really, really wanted to like it, but simply couldn't. I'm still using it, but it's not the greatest, and I'd definitely not purchase it for full price. It's on the dry side, so unless I use a LOT of moisturizer under my eyes, it gets cakey and settles into fine lines after a short time.
The custard color is perfect, and I like how you can mix the colors to get the right shade and coverage, and it's lightweight, so 3 stars for having good colors, and a creamy consistency upon application. Unfortunately, it's drier than I expected, so it's only average concealer, below my expectations for NARS products. Didn't work for me...too bad...

I use Vanilla/ Honey as a concealer and Custard/ ginger as emergency touch up. Custard/Ginger is really close to my natural skin color so it's easy to take on the go as a touch up device. Sometimes my foundation will lose it's cover power throughout the day and I'll dab a bit of this and it covers my acne scars very competently. It does a fine job at covering imperfections but it's too hard for my brush to pick up, so I use my hands. I don't really like the idea of having to use my hands but it does enable me to capture the full intensity of the concealer. I do notice that sometimes when I use this concealer under my eyes I will notice a bit of caking. I love the slim plastic packaging, it feels as if it's very difficult to break.

i'd give it a three and a half stars, but i expected more from nars.
maybe it's because i use my ring finger and not a concealer brush. or maybe it really is not that creamy at all.
i purchased the custard/ginger duo when it was $10 (great deal). i used this about three or four times now. the colors are a good match for my asian skin tone. it works okay as an under eye concealer for moderate dark circles, but it wasn't too great over blemishes and pimples. it was drying even though i moisturized before applying.
i'll continue to use this for under my eyes. and hey, i'll even buy a concealer brush for better application. i'd look for another deal, cause $30 ain't gonna cut it next time around!

Ok for $10.00 but no way for $30.00- 01.19.10

I decide to try this Duo Concealer in Custard/Ginger when it was on sale for $10.00. The color is perfect for my skin tone, very silky and smooth to apply, fair coverage, but not the perfect concealer for me. Very good deal because i paid $10.00, but i don't like the idea to pay $30.00 for this concealer that is not as perfect as my favorite concealer: Benefit Boeing 2. Is fine, because i have this on my office cosmetic drawer to retouch myself when i needed. I wont buy this again. Too expensive for not being perfect.

I finally used my Nars concealer and I love it. I have tried a few other concealers and nothing has impressed me as well as this has. It does exactly as the description says, it covers blemishes and any other spots It's lightweight and doesn't dry out my skin. Which is a big plus sense I have dry skin. All around this product is great and will defiantly repurchase. I also only got this for $10 ! I will recommend this to anyone that is looking for a great concealer.

i just finally used my steal of a deal concealer and was very pleased. I normally dont use a concealer but this one i will definitly add to my daily makeup routine. I do have very light skin so the custard blends well as far as the other color i will wait till summer to use. I gave this a five because it does blend well and conceal nice but i must say if you do have very dark circles or deep skin imperfections it may not cover them as well as you may like. I dont have either of these so i bascially use this so i dont have to use a foundation because i am not a big fan of it. i will purchase this product again .

A perfect color match; a perfect disappointment- 01.10.10

I got it in Custard/Ginger when Sephora had this crazy deal for $10 a piece. I tried a little on my hand, and I was really happy to discover that it immediately disappears (melts) into my skin. The Custard color and my skin were like a match made in heaven. Ginger was too yellow/brown on me.
Now here's the catch: Despite being incredibly creamy, this product cakes like crazy if you use it under the eye. I tried using it with primer, moisturizer, etc, and it still cakes. That's fine, I thought, I can use it to cover freckles. But no, once I put it on the freckles, the concealer pulls the disappearing trick again. It covers nothing!!!! Whoever said this works well like freckles must have very light freckles, so light that they don't really need a concealer to begin with.
The only use for this "thing" (I don't want to call it a concealer because it doesn't conceal) is to cover red pimple/acne, which, (un)fortunately, I rarely have. I'm debating whether I should save this for the off chance of having a pimple, or just return it. But I definitely will not purchase again.

If you are a light skinned asian, you need to purchase this. I have tried so many concealers that were too pink, too orange, too light, too dark, and too dry. The lighter shade is perfect for me now and blending the two will be perfect for the summer. I use this to cover my freckles on my cheeks so my nars deep throat blush looks a lot better on a flawless surface. This is a little drying for under the eye area. I don't mind because I use it mostly for cheeks and other minor imperfections. It is the perfect color match so I can't complain.
