I wanted to try this concealer for a while but was reluctant due to its price. However, after trying several concealers from other brands (lancome, clinique, tarte, MUFE), I ended up coming back to this. I finally made up my mind and bought this concealer, and I love it! It's expensive, yes, but it works. Very blendable and the colors match my skin tone quite well (I'm asian with light skin). I couldn't decide between custard and ginger, so I decided to get both in this duo :) I haven't tried it under my eyes, but that's because I'm currently using the Lancome Effacernes concealer for eyes and I'm very happy with it. Nars does a great job in concealing my blemishes and blemish scars, which is something the concealers I've tried previously have all failed to do. It also stayed all day.

Quick Take: full coverage
This concealer is pretty good and looks even better after blending the foundation on top of it:) I just wish it was abit creamier;( I know most women talked about concealing under their eyes, but I have freckles and discoloration so I use it on my cheeks, chin, nose, and forehead. It looks so natural:)

Amazing under-eye concealer!!- 10.11.09

I am so excited. I have just found my perfect under-eye concealer. I've been on a search to find a good one for a while now, and I always thought a liquid concealer would be best, but NARS has just proved me wrong! I am surprised that I like this actually, because the idea is so similar to Laura Mercier's SEcret Camouflage, which I had such I hopes for. That really let me down- it was too dry and yellow-ey for me and my dry, allergy-wrecked under-eye circles. But NARS's duo concealer (I got vanilla/honey- these names sound delicious by the way) is SO creamy. I was really surprised to find that it slid right onto my skin, even my dry under-eye area, upon first use. I didn't even have to soften it up! Amazing! And the colors are spot-on. As opposed to LM, these are more pinky in color, and not chalky looking. They actually go perfectly with my skin tone and are so natural! I like how I can use just one color on certain areas of my skin without it looking unnatural, or combine both for the perfect all-over shade. The darker color really helps conceal my dark circles, while the light color is great for redness and brightening up my eyes. While I really use this just for dark circles, this will be way easier to travel with as opposed to my BE concealer, which I use for blemishes but is too dry for my under-eye area. Overall, a great product. I highly recommend this for those looking to concealer under-eye circles naturally, and those who want a convenient product similar to LM's Secret Camouflage, but with a more natural-looking and creamy coverage.

I just received this in Praline/Toffee! Although the colors are my EXACT match, but the coverage is very very nice! I use Toffee to cover up my discolorations and freckles, and I use Praline as eyeshadow base for my eyelids:) I usually wear this concealer under my newly purchased Nars Sheer Glow Foundation in Tahoe. It looks flawless!

NARS Duo Concealer Vanilla/Honey- 09.29.09
Quick Take: non-working
Kind of disappointed in this. I'm going to return it next trip to New York. The colors were good, which is why I gave it two stars, but the coverage wasn't. My dark circles came right through as did the dark spots on my eyelids (gawgus, huh?). But the heaviest reason it's going back is that it irritated my eyes. By the end of the day, my eyes were tearing and red. Been a while since any product did that. They're all pretty much hypoallergenic now. Very disappointing.

I cant live without. I read the reviews for this before I went to Sephora and bought it. I was a little nervous since it was a little pricey but totally worth it. I wear usually only MAC products but i'm pretty sure Nars has better concealers because this one rocks my world :) great coverage but surprisingly really light on the skin . looks good in all lighting i touch up sometimes during the day for more coverage under my eyes and it doesn't settle in the lines under your eyes. Its great!

Quick Take: lightweight, non-drying, creamy but not greasy, long lasting, customizable, good size product
This hue is perfect for my slightly tan, olive skin. I don't fake bake, but if I did I could still use the darker shade of this set. I'm getting paler in these fall months and the color is getting a little yellowish, but its still discreet. I like this concealer a lot and will probably repurchase because it does a good job of covering up those, after-blemish spots, where, if you are bad and pick like me, you get scab areas. The creamy texture of the concealer doesn't make your skin look dry and flaky, like most will over those post blemish areas, which matters a lot to me. Not really thick enough for my under-eye area but thats not what I bought it for. The best part Is the two shade part, because my forehead is darker than under my nose, so I can create the perfect custom blend for any area on my face. Perfecto!

So far, I am pretty pleased with this concealer. It takes a little bit of time to get the correct blend but it's worth it. Does wonders on my undereye circles! Could do a better job of covering blemishes though.

I was very impressed with this concealer. I've been trying to look for a good under eye concealer for awhile and found some decent ones but nothing that was too great. While looking at the blushes i saw this duo and decided to just give it a try and i absolutely love it! I use the honey shade for my under eye circles it covers it up very well, goes on very smoothly, easy to blend and does not cake.

Doesn't get into fine lines. I get pretty decent coverage, but doesn't seem to stay as well as other concealers. Truly, after trying so many concealers and not finding any I like, this is the best one, but still not perfect!

At first I got the Nars Concealer in Ginger, which was totally the wrong color for me. But when the MA tried it out on my skin it looked like the perfect match, I even looked in the mirror and it looked like it was the right shade. To my surprise, the next day I tried it on and totally the wrong color, but I blended out the edges and it looked fine. But anyways I decided to return it and get the Duo Concealer. By the way I am an NW25.
The Duo Concealer seems much drier to me, I have to warm it up with my fingers a little bit before I apply. I do not apply this under my eyes because I do not get dark under eye circles. Actualy quite the opposite, my skin is much lighter there, so I just add the tiniest bit. I also use this on the sides of my nose, and a bit on my cheeks. These are my red areas, and occasionally on blemishes that appear.
My skin is oily and this stays put all day. It is also very opaque. I can blend it out so it doesn't look obvious and my problem areas stay covered. Normally this is all I use of my face. I add a bit of blush/bronzer and do my eyes and thats about it. I love this concealer.
I used this as an eyeshadow base, and it didn't work for me, but it did work for my mom who has normal skin and doesn't get oily.

It's good at concealing but a little dry. If you hydrate your skin and protect it well, it'll cover evenly. I like to dab a little at a time so it goes on lightly. You won't worry about the concealer showing if you dab it on right.

This concelear works really well for me. I mix the two tones together and it matches my skin perfectly! (vanilla/honey) I only use it for my under eye area so I don't know how well it works for other uses, but it is the best under eye concealer I have found. (I have tried aTON of concealers! )It still settles a tiny bit into the fine lines under my eyes, but I've yet to find a concealer that doesn't. I use a concealer brush to apply and then use nars loose powder to set it. That's what I would suggest you do if you use this porduct.
