Quick Take: buildable coverage
I have dry skin, I had been using Benefit Hello Flawless (really bad, not good foundation for me), so I switched to this and I have never been happier. It has a nice even coverage. I wore it home from Sephora and first my dad said, wow you look so much better (I think he told me I didn't look like an old lady waiting for the bus anymore - quite the compliment?) anyway then I got home and my fiancee told me it looked a hundred times better. It is wonderful foundation, I apply it with the #45 mineral powder brush and it is just great. Mister Smooth underneath and you're all set!

Had to try after reading all the great reviews. In my early40's & in the sun a lot. t-zone can get oily throughout the day but rest of the face normal & this is little drying for me. Covers pretty well, considering brown spots & acne scars. reminds me a lot of hd mufe, which is also a little drying for me.

This is actually my favorite foundation I've used. I have very dry skin and freckles so it makes for a weird mix but this foundation is very effective. It stays on all day, keeps my face looking moist, and gives my skin just the right amount of coverage. It is comparable to the recent YSL foundation that is out, but personally I enjoy this one much more. - I wouldn't recommend it for people with oily skin.

Quick Take: buildable coverage
This is truly a medium coverage foundation that is buildable, but doesn't cover quite as well as I'd like. Also, the texture when dry is silky, but is a bit too "powdery" for my taste and creases on my eyelids and under my eyes, even with a primer. This is my first HD type of foundation and I think I'll keep looking...

Moisture, SPF 20 and PA+++, easy to apply, and good smell. I can list many advantages of it. Its coverage is median. If you have scar and spot, you will need consealer to work with it.

I have always used Makeup Forever HD liquid makeup. Now that I have used this, I will never go back! This hydrates your skin while you wear it all day and it has pa+++ which means it keeps dark spots from occurring when in the sun! I always thought just an SPF was fine, but this stuff is great and I will continue to use it. Just wish it wasnt so darn expensive!! The price we pay for beauty :)

So baaasically, I was only going into Sephora to exchange a Nars lip gloss (the old formulation smells HORRIBLE) and I got caught up talking to a Givenchy rep. Until yesterday I had absolutely nothing from Givenchy except a mascara...this is hands down the BEST foundation I have ever used. I wouldn't say it if I wasn't being 100% honest, what's the point? It gives you perfect looking skin with a beautiful glowy finish (even when used with the Mister Mat primer). I was completely shocked and sold, didn't even look at the price. Once I realized how much I just paid for foundation (when I had just bought Nars Sheer Glow) last week, I actually didn't mind because this blows every other foundation out of the water. Definitely at least get a sample and give this a shot. It's worth every penny...just wish they would at least give us 1 fl. oz...it's only 0.8, really, Givemchy?

This is the third time I've purchased this makeup and I can't say enough good things about it. It gives you a flawless complexion, the color - Perfect Petal - matches my ivory pink skin exactly and it feels like nothing on. I've tried many, many other top brands and drug store brands, and this beats them all.

I really wanted this foundation to work as the shade and the light to medium coverage were perfect! My skin is only somewhat dry, but upon application, my skin looked a bit dry, and the finish was just too matte. Because the formula is oil-free (which I didn't know when I made the purchase), I believe this formula is definitely best for ladies with normal or combination skin types. I wish Givenchy would offer this product in a moisturizing formula and it would be a true winner. I am so happy it has worked for others!!

This stuff looks amazing. It covers up my imperfections and looks great on the skin while also giving off a healthy glow finish. It also smells good, which is not something I typically like in makeup products but it doesn't bother my sensitive skin so I'm okay with it. Anyways, definitely try this.

Excellent for Dry Skin

My skin runs pretty dry, so I was turned on to this. I find that this foundation really evens out my complexion and can build to a medium coverage. Givenchy Photo Perfexion is also one of the most moisturizing foundations I have used with this amount of coverage--a big plus for anyone that suffers with year long dry skin! I also like the color range for fair skinned gals. Just for reference, I find shade 1 to be lighter than the lightest shade of Urban Decay's Naked Skin. With all of my skin prep, this foundation melts into my skin and dries to a satin finish. Photo Perfexion is a bit expensive when you consider that you are not getting a full ounce. But what's a pricetag when the foundation makes your face look great?

I've tried many foundations but this is the absolute best! My face tends to get oily whenever I wear makeup but not with this. My skin looks flawless with this product. I highly recommend this, especially if you will be in photos..

ORANGE!

I wanted to love this product - I honestly thought I would after reading all the great reviews. I finally got it in the mail today and I don't like it at all. I have medium skin with golden undertones so I ordered shade # 6 Perfect Honey and it is orange!! I have been using Dior Nude BB Creme for a couple of weeks now but wanted to give this product a try. This product does not stand up to how beautifully Dior BB Creme applies and looks. I don't even think choosing a different shade will help because they are either for fair skin or tan skin. Very very disappointed. I will be returning this first thing tomorrow.

This foundations was a dream to apply, finish and color also impeccable BUT it barely lasted 4-5 hrs on me :-( I tried several different primers and same story. So sad it didn't work on me :-( wahhhhh

Loved loved loved this product. Was using the foundation by YSL for the last two years and they switched to a new formula so when I went to get a match with the new YSL they had nothing, the Sephora consultant recommend this product and not only does it feel better on my skin, it actually makes my skin look better after I take it off. It has a lot of moisture and is great for oil skin with a reddish complexion! Totally worth the money!!

Quick Take: light blends well
Used mineral powder for years, but needed a change. Thought liquid foundation was heavy, but this is VERY light, with great coverage (and I have pale, really uneven skin tone). I use a brush to apply by dabbing and then blending. Works wonderfully and lasts all day!
