Sephora Nano Eyeliner: Smooth and Vibrant

Quick Take: waterproof, long wearing, smudgable, vibrantly coloured, smooth, gentle
I have used two nano eyeliners from the sephora collection, and highlly recommend them to everyone. Despite being highly pigmented, the eyeliner did not hurt my eyes. It glided on very smooth, you can apply is thinly or liberally, and can be smudged or left in a straight line. I love that the color on the end of the stick actually is the color. I have a very vibrant liner that I smudge for a shocking pop of colour, and my wild violet liner has a more subtle purple color to bring out my green eyes. Also, these liners last an extremely long time despite their small and portable size. I recommend these liners for all purposes, especially because you can find whatever colour is right for you.

Too much smudge

I do not like this nano liner at all. First of all, it does not fit in my Sephora eye pencil sharpener. Why a Sephora eye pencil does not fit in a Spehora sharpener, I will never know. I have several other Spehora pencils that do not fit either, but that's another issue. Second of all, I put this on both my bottom and top eyelids and by the end of the day I look like I got double punched in the eyes. It smudges on its own, way too much, and is very very difficult to remove. I couldn't even wet a tissue and fix it under my eyes. It just smeared all over.

White and Beige

Quick Take: long wearing
I got the white and beige one (meant to buy black too). I like that they are only 5 dollars so you can buy a bunch and try different colors out. The liner is very smooth, and glides on very well with even color. The colors are vibrant so they definitely stand out on any color skin. I have golden tan skin and they showed up just fine. I usually use the white and beige as supplemental colors in addition to the black or other bolder colors I use. I would buy it again.

A great alternative to the Pantone liquid liner in green, when I want something a little more subtle. Color is pretty. Does pull on my skin more than I would like. Some other liners glide on more easily. Long lasting.

Not Great on Waterline

I bought the Pearl Beige for the sole purpose of using it on my lower waterline to try to make my eyes look bigger. It did not work in the slightest. No matter how many times I went over the waterline there was no color transfer. I bought the same pencil in White which actually DID transfer, but the white was too stark and unnatural. I was bummed because the price point and size was perfect for such a small job!

I love this liner too! Again, make sure you use a moisturizer 1st & then a lid primer. Purchase the nano sharpener & you will have no problem w/dull ends.

I love the color of this liner. Important note tho, make sure you have moisturized & applied a lid primer. Also helps to purchase the "nano" sharpener which works well w/all the nano products.

Great Eyeliner!

I really liked this eyeliner, a lot. The thick pencil was easier for me to hold, and therefore, made it must easier to apply. And it applied so smoothly and well, I didn't have to jab at my eyelid to lay the colour down!
However, I did not like how smudgeable it was. I didn't have much of a option for the crisp line I prefer.
Overall: It's a good eyeliner, great for smoky eye.

I love these little eyeliners! they are very travel friendly, when I am in a rush and have no time to put on eyeliner I just toss one of these into my bag. the texture is very creamy yet long lasting. The colors are true to the swatches

I've been using this eyeliner for years. It's the only one I can find that's a true dark brown. Lots of others that look dark brown end up looking coppery on, which does not work for my skin tone. Also love that it's only $5!

Love this color & love the ease of this liner. For people who said they had problems sharpening it, I purchased a Sephora sharpener & the liner fits in well, just take your time. The liner certainly lasts all day. Great colors too.
