Quick Take: great & smells nice
This is probably my fourth or fifth repurchase of this tanner. As far as self tanners go, I love it. Love the color and the ease of spraying as well as the smell. Most tanners have a yucky tanner smell, but this one smells really good (again, it's relative). Does require some rubbing in in certain spots but if you spray it from further away you can minimize the rubbing in.

Quick Take: long lasting
I would say that at first it is a little tricky to apply and appears spotty and SCARED ME. However you have got to shake it REALLY good and make sure you hold it far enough away from your body. DEFINITELY stand in the tub/shower to apply. It will stain the floor. If you have a friend that you don't mind spraying you and TRUST then I would also recommend that. Overall awesome product...

Quick Take: seven nyne tanning mist
A little drippy and instructions tell you not to rub in, which equates to a bad tanning booth spray tan. Sorry but "Fake Bake" "Flawless" is the best self tanner I've ever used and this can not hold a candle. Also makes a mess unless literally in a tent or back yard to spray. Product MUST be rubbed in?? No idea why they would say "Do not rub in?"

I am an avid fan of self tanners. After reading the description I was very excited a try this product, AND it was on sale - I couldn't help but buy it.
You must hold the can almost 2 feet away from your body when spraying or you will get streaks. It has a dark bronzer in it which allows you to see where your spraying. Unfortunately this also allows you to see where it has gotten all over the floor and anything else close to you. I have white tile in my bathroom which immediately became a gross brown color. I grabbed the swiffer thinking it would be an easy clean. Not so much, it just shmeared all over the floor. I felt like I was in an I Love Lucy episode...
The smell is much better than most other sprays I have tried....and I have used quite a few.
It dries quickly which is also nice, but it still got all over my clothes and stained them beyond repair.
Needless to say, I would probably stay away from this one...

perfect color, smooth resulting tan, not bad smell compared to others, but horribly messy to clean up. I apply while standing in my shower, then rinse off the mess after but even then it gets everywhere and stains the tub until i bleach it.

The spray does not give off a fine mist, instead large drops are spat out (even if you let the spray run a few seconds as stated in the instructions). Had to rub my legs to try to even out the application (only tried it on my legs). Looked awful, had to wear jeans for a couple of days before scrubbing this off. In the positive side, it dried quickly, no awful smell, but what good is that if it looks uneven? If you do try it, apply in the shower because it is really messy!

I have been using Sevin Nyne since the first day it came out. It is the ONLY spray tan I will use.. I have very fair skin and I use this spray all year long and the color is always perfect.A lot of times when I just want a little color on my face I will spray my face before bed. It gives a great glow.
So Most of the previous reviews say there are no instructions, so because I am a long time user of this product I will do my best to walk you through it to get your best results.
To start, you have to be careful where you use it, I suggest IN the shower ( obviously water off) or outside
Shake the bottle well, if not, it will not come out in an even mist. The good news is, if this happens, no worries, Do NOT try to smear if you see any flaws in your application, it will wash off in the shower evenely the next morning,. I promise
make sure legs and whatever else is cleanly shaven and exfoliate before hand
Do not use lotion before application
I think most importantly is your range when you spray. No your tan will not get darker the closer you spray. it will just give you splotches and an uneven tan. So i suggest a good 15 to 20 inches away from your body.
I would also suggest laying a towel down in bed to sleep on. although the spray tan does wash out of sheets and clothing. It just saves the mess and having to change your sheets
one last thing. don't try to spray multiple layers in one application. it will not get you any darker, it just builds up.( i learned the hard way) if you want a darker color, sleep on it, rinse off in the morning and do another application.

Quick Take: easy to use-- fool-proof!, not orange at all. great color!, faintest odor ever found in a tanning product, not for constant use- runs out in 2 uses
I was nervous after reading all the negative feedback (after I already bought it). But when I put it on outside in a bathing suit, I got even more nervous since it DID come out spotty and it DID look streaky. But to my surprise, within minutes, it somehow just blended and the spots were gone! At first, i did try and blend with a cloth, which was a mistake. THAT made that area streak. But if you leave the spray alone, it just.... blends. Within minutes I had an all-over color that was even. It left me sticky for about 15 minutes, which is typical of all tanning products I have ever tried, and I have used a lot.
Please give it a try. I do agree to do it somewhere open, because I am sure it will get messy. But i just sprayed it outside on my patio, so I didnt actually see any mess at all.
There is one down side, though.... I used this once on myself and once on a friend at the same time, and it was gone. 2 uses and it is done. most tanners allow you a number of tannings, but this one is only one. I bought it when it was on sale here for only $7, and though the color is great, I wish I could have gotten more uses for the money. But then again, spray tanning in a salon here would have cost me at least double, so I guess it is not a bad deal. I see now it is $17, but I wouldnt pay that for just a one time use.
Anyway, though most of the comments are negative, they all agree the color is good and not orange. Also, the smell is the most minimal I have ever had with any other tanning product, so that, too, is a plus. I just think many people who saw the streaking panicked and tried to rub it in, leaving the streaks, hence the negative comments. If you just trust the product and leave it be, you will b happy to see you get an even, all-over, color with no streaking or blotching within minutes of application. And if you need some nice color for a special event, USE THIS! But for an all the time tan? Dont. You will be spending TONS of money for a can every time you need to reapply. Enjoy!

Purchased this even after reading MANY negative reviews in hopes I could somehow make this work. Sadly I could not. It does not spray evenly at all, transfers to clothing even after "dry" and makes a HUGE mess. The color would have been lovely if the execution was better. The color is a deep tan, not orange. I didn't find this worth purchasing, even on sale.

It smells really good but you have to blend it after you spray it and you can't use your hands because they get really orange and you have to use a dark towel to blend it and it streaks. To get it perfect you have to spend a lot of time blending it.

This is one of the messiest tanners I have ever used. It gets everywhere (so do it outside or in the shower) It goes on best if someone else does it for you, but once you get it on it made a beautiful tan color on me without going orange. Maybe I should try the cream next time.

really hate it!! ill give it 2 stars cause the color is nice. but the application is super messy. it goes on uneven and the initial spray comes out spotty. i think it stinks n leaves your skin sticky , never seems to dry fully? will not buy this product again
