Salewoman told me this base would extend color wear. Other than it feeling and smelling nice, its useless. I dislike the applicator, and I see no effectiveness in extending the color wear.

I apply it only at night - keeps my lips very soft all the way until morning (no chapping) - makes them noticeably FULLER as well...no red lines around the outside of the lips either. When I run out, i notice my lips getting lined and skinny again - ick! My gf started using it and now its a "must have" product for her as well.

As the proud owner of one great but dry set of "soup coolers", this glaze is wonderful. Goes on a little thick but, thers's nothing like it for the current sub zero temperature and I love the tingle sensation.

great base or use as plain gloss. The texture is just right, and it takes good. I have a hard time finding glosses or primers that don't dry out my lips (I want hydration!) This one is worth every penny - it makes my other lip products/glosses that much better. Kim, at the store suggested it right away when she saw how dry my lips were (eeww!) It visibly smoothed areas and "set" as a primer so I could use color on top, without drying. Kim knows what she is doing, I see her for all my sephora consults.

MintGlazeFX is very moisturizing. I put it on at night and my lips are really smooth in the morning. I haven't had a problem with cracked, dry lips since I bought it. I'm giving it five stars even though I don't know how long it will last (I'm trying to conserve because it's a bit pricey)

I expected more for paying a pretty penny for this product. It's just alright. It does hydrate my lips, but it is not the best lip primer. I think I like lip plumpers generally more for filling lips, and there are a gazillion cheaper lip moisturizers that pack the same hydrating punch as this product. Probably wouldn't purchase this again.

Great formula, but...- 09.14.09
Quick Take: hydrating, versatile
... the brush applicator is quite possibly of the worst quality in the world. It's rough yet unfirm (so you end up with the treatment all around your mouth, instead of on it), and no matter how careful you are, the bristles become twisted and bent backwards on the wand. A doefoot applicator would have been far more appropriate/useful given the quality of the brush that was selected for this product - so minus two stars for the horrible applicator.
On the upside: very hydrating, pleasant and versatile - applied lightly under lipstick, or over a lipstain. It's terrific - once you can apply it properly.

I have very dried lips and i could never use any type of lipgloss not even carmex or chapstick because it would irritate my lips more all i could use was vaseline and the smell wasn't too pleasent. I tried this lipgloss and it was GREAT!!! It actually cured my dry lips and it lasts and smells great. I only wish it came in a bigger bottle but i've found my first lipgloss that actually helps my dry lips! THANKS FX!

It is a very nice product, however, the brush is terrible. It would have been better with a foam applicator. The brush spreads, leaving tendrils wider than the mouth of the product. For the price, the applicator should be much better.

I have really dry lips. Most products coat the surface of my lips and do not absorb effectively. This is truly different. MintGlaze treats my lips with moisture...not just shine. I apply this before bedtime and under lipstick. You feel it working as soon as you apply it. I love this product!!

Love this stuff. I have chronic dry lips and this is the only thing that has given me relief after years of trying everything out there. I don't use it before lipstick because it's very viscous and lipstick would just slide off, but I use it at night and it keeps my lips so nice! Highly recommend it!

Cover FX's MintGlaze lip treatment is excellent. I put it on at bedtime and it keeps my lips from becoming chapped overnight. I put it on before I put my lipstick on in the mornings and it helps to keep my lips moist and I think it helps my lipstick stay on longer. One of the main things that sold me on this is the sun protection. Great product.
