Easy to use throughout the day

Quick Take: non-greasy, natural
This product is easy to use throughout the day, either under or over makeup. It doesn't cause breakouts for me. It's light and not cakey and does not make my face look oily later. I use it as a finishing powder now instead of the Tarte one I was using before.
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the brush is low quality plastic that is almost a little rough. However, it does an adequate job of dispensing the powder.

I like that there isn't any color but it is hard to see if I have enough on. Maybe if it was just slightly tinted? Or was white when you put it on then faded? I am generally satisfied with it though.

Good product, poor packaging

This product has worked out very well for me. I have combination skin that tends to be more oily during spring and summer and this product helps to control shine on my face. You can see the powder on the brush tip when you apply it so you know you are getting the product out onto your face. When I'm out in the sun I like to layer this product on top of a liquid spf product and it has worked well this way. I also like how unlike most other sunscreens it does not leave a white cast on your face in photographs. The packaging is the only downside, I have lost a lot of product in the past when the bottom lid fell off so I took off a star.

I love this product! It is perfect for when you are on the go, not only does it protect your skin, but it's perfect for mattifying when you get shiny.
I had a few of the bottoms unscrew and dump all of the powder into my purse, but they seem to have fixed that. I still always double-check that the bottom is screwed on tight before putting it away, however. Force of habit and I recommend and purchasers do the same.

Bought this product looking for a light mineral veil that acts as a SPF also and this does the job (hopefully - how do you know when an SFP works?) But it's lightweight and easy to apply. Cap comes off, give it a little shake and brush it on. Just pull the brush down when you're done, put the lid back on and pop the brush back up.

I really had high hopes for this. Anyone with oily skin knows controlling the oil is a constant issue. I do think it gives good sun protection, however I feel that I get more shiny/greasy on the areas I apply it to. Unfortunately that is a side effect for all facial sunscreens. For me, I think its something I will put up with and blot more often because it is important to be able to instantly add sunscreen throughout the day. The brush is a bit pokey though. Could be softer seeing its for your face.

I almost didn't buy this product after reading some of the negative reviews but I am glad I did. The packaging is fine, just read and follow the instructions. Gives great light finishing powder over top of sunscreen base, esp good if you have to use a slightly greasy sunscreen with high SPF, like I do, to protect fair skin. This is not a sunscreen substitute, but adds protection and sets everything really well. Worth the money.

haven't got much of a chance to see if it really works well yet, but SO FAR i really like the product. it's the perfect alternative to wearing sunscreen. it's not oily, and it goes on great under your regular make up.

I love the idea of this powder and once applied, it did keep shine to a minimum. I can't speak to the sun protection effectiveness as I tried this in mid-winter. Unfortunately, the applicator was a deal-breaker for me. The brush is VERY stiff and harsh and it actually hurt my face to apply this. It is also difficult to control the amount of product that is dispensed, so lots of this (expensive!) powder went airborn. I returned it but might repurchase if PTR changed the applicator.

I absolutely LOVE this product! It goes on nice and light, doesn't cake up, and helps achieve a matte finish without dulling the skin. It does clog every once and a while, but just give it a couple strong shakes and it'll be fine!

I really like this product because how practical it is but the brush is extremely cheap and it does hurt my skin sometimes. I like the powder but the quality of the brush is HORRIBLE, that I'm thinking about returning it. The bristles falls all over and it almost irritates my skin.

i love the fact that i can put on SPF and not get my face greasy. i already have oily skin so this doesnt make me break out and i dont have to wait 30 mins to go in the sun. i love it cause im an SPF freak, i try to avoid the sun as much as possible. i think sun exposure is the 1 thing I can do to avoid aging. dont want wrinkles!!
PS. be careful with the bottom, dont twist otherwise i will end up all over your micheal kors purse! yup, i happened to me, the powder went all over.. besides that i love it

This product is great because you can wear it by itself or layer it with other makeup and it doesn't show! It really does protect my skin. I am fair and I often leave without any makeup and this is GREAT if you don't wear makeup and want protection or are in a hurry! I have not gotten sunburned or pink while wearing this!

I have very oily skin. I do not wear foundation, moisturizer or any SPF products because I don't like the feel of anything on my face and I am also very acne prone. I know SPF is a good idea but I just could not find anything light and would not cause acne. I recently started using a dark spot corrector so now SPF is a must. This product fits the bill. My only complaint is the packaging. The brush falls apart easily and I can't control how much product is coming out on my face and where it is landing. Otherwise, this is transparent and seems to absorb oil.

I got this because it has sunscreen and is translucent. It is just a tinge yellow but seems to even out and the yellow disappears. With my oily skin, it's nice to be able to take away the shine during the day. Rarely do we go "powder our noses" but I keep this in my car for touch ups on the run.

I love the way this goes on. But the applicator, which you pull and then push to load the powder into the brush, broke almost immediately after a gentle pull. Powder everywhere. Also, once this feature is broken, you cannot get the plastic cap over the bushy brush, as you can no longer fully retract the brush to fit inside the cap. Beware that the brush sheds long black hairs onto your skin. If the powder came in a different applicator, I would love it! Great neutral color. Not too heavy at all.

I love this SPF--it's so easy to apply, over makeup or not. It makes it so easy to use sunscreen (like we know we're supposed to!). It also has a slightly mattifying effect. Love it!
