Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing, hydrating
I have a very hard time trying to find foundation for my skin. For one, I'm usually too pale for any kind of makeup so it always looks like I'm trying to be tan, and for two, the foundation either dries out my skin too much (I have dry skin) or it makes me break out a ton (ewww pimples!).
This foundation completely matches my tone and it keeps my skin looking hydrated and healthy. I've even had friends and customers at my coffee shop ask me what I'm doing to my face because it has such a healthy glow.
I love this product and I just wish that the Sephora stores near me carried it instead of having to order it online all the time.

Finally found the makeup I am happy with. Feels fresh while providing nourishing coverage. I have not found it in stores recently and now order online. I hope Sephora continues to carry it or I will be really sad.

Good, but not GREAT

This was one of the foundations I REALLY wanted to work because the ingredients are some of the best out of most of the expensive foundations. Maybe in the summer it won't be the same but I wore this foundation with and without primer (I always have moisturizer on first), and it just came off too drying. It claims to be able to maintain a "moisture balance" but the clay formula must be better for oily skin. I imagine if I was oilier, this would probably be perfect. I really liked its texture and it was pretty buildable, but after about 5 hours ended up being very drying. When I feel like I'm stretching my facial skin when I talk, I know I'm dry. That's how I ended up feeling with this one. Sad, because I love Fresh products and I would love to just have one brand of cosmetics across the board (my OCD dream). I'll probably try it again in the summer and see how it fairs out then.

I absolutely love everything from Fresh and couldn't wait to try this product. I am pretty fair skinned, so the color seventh veil was perfect for my skin tone. It's a very moisturizing foundation, but i have found that you don't wait to over-do it. A pump and a half is enough for my face, because too much had an oily effect throughout the day. I think this product is great under powder and has done wonders for my complexion.

Great light-medium coverage

This stuff is quite good. My favorite thing is that it is one of the palest foundations I've found, BUT, it still has a neutral tone (Bobbi Brown Alabaster is too pink, NARS Siberia is too yellow). This stuff is a perfect color for me, a natural finish, wears well, doesn't break me out. The only potential issue is that you really can't get a full coverage out of this. It doesn't really build well, but if you only want light or medium coverage, it's great.

I have been using Chalet Girl for over a year and it is by far the best foundation I've tried. I have rosacea and am prone to redness but this product doesn't bother my skin - it actually makes it smoother. This is a lightweight foundation that doesn't cake up and blends nicely. I don't wear a lot of make-up so it's perfect for me - I would definitely recommend this product to anyone especially during the summer months.

Best foundation on the market

I have tried many foundations - including Lancôme and Estée Lauder but this is by far the best I have ever found. I ran out of mine some time ago and just received my order. I am wondering why I ever waited so long! Great for dry skin and has great coverage and very brightening. Recommend anyone should try it. You will not be sorry.

I've have sensitive, very acne prone skin and have been trying to find a good quality foundation that did not break my skin out for a while (Non comedogenic foundations are few and far between outside of a drug store). This has the prefect amount of coverage without being heavy or cakey and no breakouts!

I've been using this foundation for awhile now. I love it! I was shopping for a liquid foundation, something with a little more coverage than what I was using. I really loved the Umbrian Clay product I had gotten as a sample so tried this out. It's great. It's not heavy and it covers. I use the lightest shade because I'm pretty pale and it's a perfect fit. I'm a lifer for this product. I only wish they carried it in more stores. It also does last, so it's worth the money. I use it everyday for months before running out.

I love Fresh Umbrian Clay foundation! I love the fact it has a SPF 20, it has great coverage without feeling heavy, it last all day with only one pump! Did I mention how creamy the product is? I have tried many foundations and I always come back to Fresh!!

Amazing for Acne-prone skin

This is my favorite foundation, and I have tried Clinique, Laura Mercier, Lancome, etc. I have oily, acne prone skin and have tried foundations of every type and price point. This is the ONLY foundation that not only did not make my skin worse, but my skin actually cleared up while using it. The only issue is that the coloring is very narrow. I am Asian-Caucasian mix race and matching foundations to my skin tone is very difficult. I wish Sephora would return to selling this product in the store-front, so customers can be color-matched. I am very disappointed that they do not sell this anymore in the stores, so I am going to buy directly from the Fresh online store. Why should I give my money to Sephora online and pay shipping when I can order directly from the company? Also, this is a longer wearing foundation than most high-end brands, including Lancome. I apply the Lancome dual-finish powder over this foundation to set it and it lasts at least 10 hours.

Quick Take: natural-looking
I have combination, acne-prone skin and have tried MANY brands of foundation and have generally been unhappy. Most foundation either doesn't cover well, looks and feels too cakey, or breaks my skin out.
This foundation has fixed all those problems. It doesn't break out my skin at all (and I even fall asleep without washing my face sometimes . . . ). Also, it feels very lightweight and goes on very smoothly. It covers most of my skin issues while retaining a very natural, non-cakey look. It doesn't leave my skin looking oddly matte or shiny, just the mild glow that skin should have (as the day goes on, I use Clean & Clear oil-absorbing sheets to alleviate T-zone shininess). Most people don't know I'm wearing foundation.
Because of the formulation, you only need a VERY small amount, otherwise it sits in creases and looks overdone. Also, a few minutes after I've applied it, I smooth out the creases around my eyes again before applying eyeshadow and I don't have the "collecting in the crease" problem throughout the day. I use a moist sponge to apply the foundation after my moisturizer and use less than the size of a pea (although it took me a while to get used to using so little foundation). This is nice because the foundation is really expensive. It lasts a LONG time and is definitely worth it.
One last thing, the packaging is great. I have had the bottle I'm currently using for a long time and it doesn't stick, break or clog. The small pump allows you to release just a small bit at a time so that you don't waste any.

Sadly, this foundation didn't work for me. It felt nice going on, but it ended up sitting in my pores and fine lines -- whether I applied it with fingertips or a foundation brush. I looked chalky and very made-up. I ended up returning it.
Note that the colors run lighter than the color-descriptions may lead you to believe.

This foundation is really nice! i have oily skin and my face didn't get oily nor settle in wrinkles. i was worried trying it out because i was afraid I'd break out and this gave me no problems at all! i LOVE it!!!!

If you like having your face look like porcelain

This foundation is amazing. If you are looking for a foundation that hides all lines and isn't shiny, where blush blends like you are painting on canvas....this is the foundation. The only problem I found is that I like a little more pink undertones than Croisette....If they had another color more to the pink tone.....I would have stayed with them forever!!!

Easy to apply and blend. Sheer to moderate coverage. Very natural colors. Beautiful finish on the face. Does not last. Does not control oil. This is a good makeup for those of you that do not live in hot or humid climates.
