Effective & Worth the Money

This product has really helped to decrease the oiliness of my super oily skin. Was not expecting that. As far as clearing my skin goes, not sure yet. I think I was expecting it work like magic, and clear up skin in a snap. While that hasn't happened, I do see an improvement. I think it needs more time.

Quick Take: fast working
I was iffy about this product just because so many people wrote how they broke out from this product. I decided to purchase it anyways because I wanted to try something new, aside from the Murad acne treatment I've been using. This is by far my favorite acne treatment ever! It goes on like a toner so your skin doesnt flake or have that extra 'treatment' you can visibly see on your face without makeup on.
So what I do is wash my face, clarisonic, toner, and then Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream. I probably wait 5 min after that and then layer my makeup on top. The pimples diminish just like it says.

I was testing out my skin routine and taking things out or using different products to see if I noticed a difference. With this one, I went from washing my face straight to Dr. Brandt Lineless Moisturizer. I broke out within 2 days. I need my intensolution!

I do use Dr.Brandt products. Its too early to determine if this is worth the Value for the money. I do know that from when I have been using it, it has dried out the blemishes, does not cause redness on me, but since I have a tendency to get adult acne & cannot gage whether its helping NOT produce more acne-thats why I rated it 4 stars.

I started to use this on my face a couple of weeks ago and it has really helped my adult acne! I was using a retinol prescription cream but just found that even after 6 months it was still too harsh on my skin and plus I still had major oil and breakouts. So I thought I would try this and I really like it so far...only gave it 4 stars cause its only been a couple of weeks...but I love what its doing so far!

Leaves a tingly clean feeling

I love this product. Not only do I see how much dirt and guck is left behind even after washing my face, I feel so much better when this toner gets all that off. I had ache breakouts all over my face and this product has really minimized that to just around and under my chin area in less than a year. I really see a different in my complexion. This has really helped balance my skins PH levels to fight breakouts.

Quick Take: refreshing
I confess I bought this after receiving a sample, mostly because I like how my face feels after using it. I do have an acne problem so that was also why I purchased it. I was going back and forth between giving this 3 stars or 4 stars. In the end I have it four, because I do use it everyday and it leaves my face feeling fresh and clean. In terms of making my acne disappear, that has not been the case. I think it is helping with regular acne (like the kind you get because your pores are clogged and bacteria develops) but it is not really combatting the cystic acne around my jaw area (this was a recent development for me, the horrible cystic acne that is). I used to have bad acne all over my face and over the years this has reduced but now, while most of the rest of my face is clear (apart from redness from slight rosacea) the cystic acne has gotten worse. Anyway, bottom line, works pretty well but dont expect it to clear up your cystic/hormonal acne.

Can't live without this stuff! I don't use it on a daily basis, but as more of a spot treatment when a blemish is first starting to appear. If I catch it in time, it disappears the next day. For those a bit bigger and more stubborn, it speeds up the healing time incredibly.

This did not help my blemishes at all... I tried this as well as the accompanying moisturizer/treatment without any positive results...if anything my skin got more congested and bumpy. Returned.

This stuff was ok at best. It helped to clean my skin after washing but my breakouts were still as frequent as before I started this. I waited until I had used the whole bottle before I wrote this review so I could give a truly, honest review. The smell wasn't bothersome at all. Couple the price with the lack of controlling my breakouts, I will not be repurchasing this item.

I love this moisturizer!! I used to not moisturize because I had oily skin and felt a moisturizer "broke me out" from making my skin more greasy and oily.
This oil-free hydrator balances out my oily, blemish-prone skin. It absorbs quickly yet keeps my skin moisturized and hydrated. It smells nice and I can feel it cooling on my skin; it's very gentle. Also, the pump it disperses from is good because a little goes a long way! (I use a light coat on my face and need only about 3-4 pumps for each use)
I don't want to mislead anyone but I don't believe this moisturizer does anything for my breakouts. It doesn't add to the problem, but I don't think anyone should be looking to a moisturizer as a spot treatment or to help cleanse/eliminate acne.
I feel this moisturizer is light, doesn't make my skin more oily, and balances out the oil so I don't break out more. My skin has definitely become more soft and smooth from it, and I've gotten plenty of compliments.

I got this as a sample and thought it might have been working. But when I bought the full bottle, it didn't seem to do much for me. Maybe it'll work for someone else, and the good thing is that it's not harsh on your skin at all and smells nicer than a lot of other toners and treatments.

Quick Take: soothing, refreshing, magical
About six months ago I started taking a medication that makes my face break out something FIERCE! The benefits far outweighed the cystic acne I had developed. I tried soo many different things, but nothing worked and they all dried my skin out something terrible. So not only did I have cystic acne, I also had dry scaly patches all over my skin. I had read the reviews and tried this product, but honestly I didn't see how this could really make a difference.
Let me tell you in 5 days my breakouts were gone! I'm not sure what kind of magic potion this is, I just know it works. I forgot this while on an overnight trip so I missed a few applications. (I use it morning and night) The big painful zits started coming back. Thankfully in only a couple days it got things under controll again.
I would say this has gotten rid of 90-95% of my breakouts. I still get the occasional under the surface bump. But when I feel it coming on, sometimes I dab a little on that spot once in the afternoon between my regular applications. It makes those occasional bumps go away much faster. And thankfully this doesn't dry out my skin in the slightest. I will never go without this again. (at least not if I stay on this medication)

I bought this hoping I could use it as my daily toner. I currently use Cliniques Clarifying Toner 3, I was just looking to try something else.
In terms of a toner, I don't recommend this product as it doesn't feel like it leaves my skin clean, it feels as though there is a residue left over, which I was not a fan of.
However, in terms of a spot treatment, this product is amazing. I have been using it as a spot treatment and it clears them almost over night. If this was listed as a spot treatment then I would give it 5 stars.
My only gripe with this product as a spot treatment, is that the bottle is huge for a spot treatment. If they marketed this product as a spot treatment, the bottle should be made smaller and the price should be reduced accordingly.
