Elegant, one of a kind packaging. You will not want to throw this away:). The texture is creamy and the color, beautiful.

Worth the price tag

Quick Take: long wearing, creamy, moisturizing
This is the best lipstick formula I've ever tried. It seems expensive BUT! you have to reapply way fewer times with this than with any other brand. The case is a bit cumbersome for me and it keeps fingerprints, but the mirror is really handy and I haven't had any problems with the lipstick coming loose from the case. It does get a bit ridiculous if you want more than one color because they're so big. Why don't they sell refills??? The formula is GORGEOUS. It's not too glossy, not too matte, non-drying, comfortable, lightweight, longlasting, doesn't bleed or feather...everything you would want from a lipstick. I have a weird problem with lipsticks not sticking to the inside of my lips so when I talk or smile there's a lot of bare lip showing (awkward and unflattering). Haven't had a problem with the Rouge G! Oh and I got Garconne, which is beautiful, but is much more pink than you would expect for a "classic red."

My cousin and i saw this lipstick and just had to buy it, the packaging is so cool, the lipstick comes in beautiful shades (we literally sat there for 10 minutes trying to pick one) and it's got ruby powder in it! it's so luxourius and perfect

Quick Take: creamy, moisturizing
but a Sephora's rep convinced me to buy it. I must admit that the color is beautiful and I get compliments every time I wear it but I can't get over the price tag. I'm sure I can find a similar color in a less expensive brand but I do love the way this feels on my lips. I wish it stayed on as long as I was promised, it wears off just as easily as any other lipstick.

When I went to Epcot last year I fell in love with the color Greta in one of the stores and had to have it right then. I love this color! I never had worn red lipstick before, but now it has become my signature color. I was so pleased with the staying power and quality of Greta that I decided half a year later to purchase a more neutral color in the same formula but different color online. This time I chose Garance. The color ended up matching my lips completely. So much so that I couldn't tell I had anything on. The formula also felt a bit thinner and rubbed off much more easily. It was a total disappointment. I ended up giving it to my mom. In short, try in store before you buy. It seems each color is different in feel and staying power.

I wish I could afford to have this Rouge G de Geurlain Jewel lipstick be the only lipstick brand I ever bought. I just purchased my first one (Gala 21) and it is fantastic. I get so many compliments from women I don't even know when I pull out the case, as well as on the color. The true red is beautiful. It isn't too deep though, which I was worried about since I have a porcelain skin tone. It's a red with pinkish/fuchsia undertones in my opinion. It moisturizes, is creamy, just overall feels of luxury. It isn't the longest lasting, but with a case like this who wouldn't want to have to pull it out and touch up any chance you could?! It does last through eating and drinking pretty well though with a lip primer. I highly recommend!!! Do yourself a favor and just try it out once!

Beautiful, but pricey

Quick Take: long wearing, highly pigmented, overpriced
I have this Gigolo 70 and it is such a beautiful color (deep berry-red). This lipstick is highly pigmented (I only lightly swiped it on my lips and it was fully opaque), so it will most likely last me a while and hopefully get me my money’s worth. It has a nice texture, but I wouldn't say that it's too creamy or moisturizing. Also, even if your lips are a bit chapped, this lipstick will still look good (which is pretty rare since it’s so pigmented). I hate the packaging though and I'm pretty sure it’s why the price tag is so high. I had a hard time getting it open at first and now the lipstick keeps popping out of the mirror case. I just put a piece of tape over it because my local Sephora does not carry Guerlain products and I don't feel like waiting for another to be shipped to me. Since the packaging is flawed and it is really just a lipstick, I don’t think it’s worth $49.50. Overall this is a really nice lipstick and I do recommend it if you are looking to splurge on a luxury item.

Nothing stays on my lips, and I'm weirdly allergic to something that's in most lipsticks and lipbalms. This lovely product actually stays on nicely, doesn't bother my lips, isn't terribly drying and the color (Portrait) is very wearable - goes with everything. LOVE it!

Kind of on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Quality. Leaves lips soft and not dry at all. Leaving your lips kissable all day long. Lol I love the packaging. The mirror comes in very handy.

I was definitely not expecting to like this lipstick *this much*! I bought it in Gigolo. It's such a sexy color, like a dark berry color. It looked amazing, even when my lips were a bit chapped from cold weather. I would definitely recommend it for a good "dark red" that's not too dramatically dark and for a lovely lipstick in general. Oh, & wear it with the anit-feathering lip liner by Too Faced, and you're gorgeous!

Quick Take: creamy, moisturizing, long wearing, nice fragrance, not airport friendly!
I have been wearing these lipsticks for a few years now and they are my to-go, favorite lipsticks. I love the colors, their moisturizing qualities and their long wearing abilities. I have Gigolo, Bridget, Garconne and Geisha. I know Guerlain can be a tad expensive but I always get my money's worth with this brand. Can't wait to my next lipstick!

Love this lipstick - it's so smooth and moisturizing on my lips. I got it in Grenade, a beautiful rosy pink color that's my lips with some extra fun color without being overly colored. I want to go back and get some extra fun colors now!

I was excited to receive the lipstick after reading all the reviews but I was disappointment when I tried it. It dried out my lips with in an hour, I could not ware it. I liked the color though and the consistency was very light. The case is heavy just like some reviews noted but it looks good and I would use it if it wasn't for the dryness. I will have to return it.

I have the poppy red, and the color is true to the description. Its bright, creamy, gorgeous, and the glorious case makes it fun & luxe. I hate applying lipstick blind, so its genius to add a beautiful mirrored compact to a lipstick.
My only complaint is that, like others have mentioned, its not refillable. I'd love to buy other colors, but I honestly don't want or need another one of these cases -- as much as I love it. It looks sophisticated when I pull it out in public, and adorable on my makeup counter. But honestly, I'm the kind of girl who's beauty display matters just as much as how the product works. So this looks chic poised in front of my plainer Illamasqua & Make Up Forever cases. But another one would be overkill :( Make the shades interchangeable & I would buy them all!
I'd highly recommend splurging on one color that you really love, & if anyone has any ideas on how to display multiples of these, I'd be ever grateful! <3
