I just had to have this because it sounded so luxurious, but it would have been best to admire its looks and save the money. The case is unbelievably heavy and clunky, and the lipstick is not very good at all. I bought Gaela 61, which looked like it would be a deep pink, but it's more salmon and the formula is a little light in the pigment department. I wish I'd spent the money on another Yves Saint Laurent ROUGE VOLUPTÉ Silky Sensual Radiant Lipstick, which costs 11 dollars less, has a little mirror in the lid and has the most pigment of any lipstick I've tried.

OMG the case is so beautiful and so is the lipstick!! It only subtly changes my lip colour since they are so pigmented but it looks gorgeous and it stays on very well and doesnt creep into the creases on my lips. It is very expensive yes, but definitely worth it!!!!

The lipstick is a beautiful pink nude, not Barbie pink. The case is beautiful and the lipstick is creamy, long wearing and does not feather. The lipstick is a luxury item as it is pricey and would be a nice treat.

Two Beautiful Reasons for loving this Lipstick!

A heavenly Lipstick...enclosed in a sturdy 'but' elegant jewel(ry)-worthy casing.
"Gisele #08" is accurately described as a deep to medium Rose with a touch of gold.
Rich in Medium Rose pigment, golden crushed pearls add a hint of shimmer,
while the (micro) Ruby dust creates more depth.
The end result is more parallel to a Satin, nowhere near a frost…
Guerlains Rouge is a radiant, full bodied lip color, feeling weightless on your lips.
Never drying, I’ve found this to be rich in moisture with a long-lasting outcome.
The casing will stop people in their tracks…
While you treat yourself to this Lipstick treasure; in a jewel-encrusted crown.

I never thought I'd pay $45 for a lipstick, but when its this good, I couldnt resist!. I got #5 which is a nice peachy shade for everyday wear. I love how creamy it is, and how it wears so well. The package is pure luxury , but that's expected from Guerlain.

I debated on this lipstick because of the high price and it is nonrefillable but I decided to splurge on myself and purchased Giselle. I love it. The only problem now is I want at least two more colors. I guess I will let Santa know on my Xmas list.

Every time I pull out this lipstick I feel glamorous. At the price, it's definitely a splurge and I've no regrets. I bought "Gisele" and the color is pretty true to the swatch...perhaps a bit less bright. Feels great on my lips, and the case is amazing.

OMG this is the most amazing lipstick.....forget about the beautiful case and mirror (we'll get to that later LOL)...the lipstick itself is incredible. It is SO creamy, and gives such coverage, but without feeling waxy or dry - it's so creamy. I can't recommend it enough. Now, the case.....it's the ultimate in luxury. Treat yourself - you won't regret it. I tried the color Guliana - it's the perfect marriage of orange and brown - I love it.

Geisha is gorgeous: up close I can see the microscopic ruby powder shimmer. It glides on, doesn't dry, looks amazing, and doesn't come off for anything. Unfortunately as a yellow-based and not blue-based red, it didn't go with my skin tone. I do love it, though. If you want to stop people in their tracks this is the red of reds.
I exchanged Geisha and ordered Gil. Gil is a wear-everyday color in the coral family. I love it. I've been devoted to Guerlain's KissKiss Maxishine line, which I already thought was the best. Rouge G is the perfect formula, hands down. It's lasting, pigmented, smooth and Gill makes my lips look fuller and moist. LOVE. I have a webcam photo for reference. Gil is a really lovely color that I cannot imagine would look bad on anyone, so if you're sitting on the fence I'd recommend Gil as a starter.
