My husband has FINALLY decided to stop using bar soap and aftershave as his skin routine and start taking care of his skin. Hellsville must have frozen over. So of course I rushed him to my Sephora and turned "my people" loose on him to pick the proper products for what he needs: JB Pure Clean Daily Facial Cleanser, JB Protein Booster Eye Rescue, JB Protein Booster Skin Serum, and JB Double Duty Face moisturizer. And $200 later, he has a new skin regimen! And has been using them all religiously to exact package directions.
It's been almost a month now and his skin has transformed itself. Wrinkles have filled. Dark spots have faded. Skin is tighter and smooth. His skin looks younger, fresher and.....dare I say.....dewey. He looks fab!

Quick Take: hydrating, moisturizing
I was really looking for two things when I bought this serum- Something for dry winter skin & something to even out tone/texture. As a licensed Esthetician, even I get overwhelmed by the bevy of products to choose from, and it probably took me two hours of reviews to choose this. Lucky for me it was a good one!
First, and this is important to me- Value. I checked the ounces on this product and others, and in comparison its a great value for the ingredients offered. Also a little goes a very long way so I can see this lasting months for me.
Secondly- I could see a difference in my skin right away. Havent had a breakout at all since using it. Skin definitely has a *glow.* You know the one where your hyperpigmentation isnt as noticeable anymore and skin seems more luminous. Peptides are an amazing skin care boost, but not always utilized properly by the brands using them. However I'll be damned if I didnt see less puffiness and fine lines around my eyes, and it didnt almost completely rid me of dry winter skin. No sensitivity or irritation to report.

I am a 29 year old female who uses this everyday before I put my moisturiser. I can tell you that this serum works.
I dont care if its men's serum but ladies you should grab this bottle. I have used a lot of expensive stuff but nothing works the way this protein booster works: it brightens, lightens and you can tell the difference once you start using it.

Although you do need a moisturiser, its just a serum, so it wont be so hydrating!

This is a light serum. Didn't make me break out. i would surely recommend this for females. I likte the fact that it has Niacinamide and other things which are good quality ingredients. Gives an instant glow :)

I'm addicted to this serum. My skin is so soft and I can totally see a difference from when I wasn't using serums. I wish it wasn't so pricey but I guess you get what you pay for.

Jack Black is amazing, I have turned my boyfriend into a product junkie(in a good way!) and started him on this line, however, this serum is an ALL-STAR! I use it too! It is for all skin-types,lightweight,packed w/great ingredients, doesn't smell too herbal/fragrant. Definitely worth the price! My gorgeous man is blessed w/ great skin,although, he's thirty, a heavy smoker,high stress job etc. This makes him glowy,well-rested and sexy! Addresses everything from fine lines,redness,razor burn,clears pores!!!

It was hard to convince my husband to try an anti-aging product, but because it was made by Jack Black he decided that it must be "manly" enough to give it a try. I wanted him to get the antioxidant benefits to keep his skin healthy even if he is not concerned about wrinkles. He doesn't mind using this serum because it's quick and easy to use and he finally admitted what I could already see, which is that his skin felt softer and looked brighter and healthier. I'm sure he will continue with this serum and be asking me to order more before it's used up.
