This kit is an excellent value - I initially just wanted the eyeshadow kit but ended up getting blush, concealer, mascara, lip gloss and two liners for only $17 more. The lip gloss and concealer are ok, but I really like the shadow, blush and mascara. The reverse liner is also alright, although don't forget to blend, blend, blend, or it looks really obvious.

I'm very pleased with this 7 piece set. I wasn't sure what reverse lipliner even was until I tried the one included in the kit and loved it! All of the products are easily applicable for light daytime wear and then with a little bit of foundation and a heavier hand, perfect for going out.

Quick Take: a life-changing fabulous value!
The Cargo 7 in 7 kit is perfect for my busy lifestyle. I'm a working, single mom who barely has time to glance in the mirror let alone apply makeup. Since I bought the 7 in 7 I've managed to make the time everyday! Yippee! I love the foundation, eyeshadow, lipliner, eyeliner and lip gloss. My only complaint would be that the mascara is very clumpy and difficult to control. It could be due to the applicator.

Good products but would not everything I need- 09.27.09

I have never used cargo but saw this set and thought it would include everything i need to do my face in 7 minutes, about the amount of time I have for make-up in the morning. I like the products but find that I still need to add a foundation (I use Bare Escentuals) and I found that the lip gloss is way to light, it does not give you any color at all. I am still learning how to use the reverse lip liner. I like the eyeshadows a lot. I just wish this set also included brushes, i would have been willing to pay a few extra bucks for an eye shadow brush and blush brush to be included.

I bought this kit in light/medium. As the name suggests, there are 7 products. There are also two application guides: one is a three page bifold with pictures and text descriptions, the other is a single page of pictures (no text) with a peel-off back so you can stick it on the mirror for reference. They recommend applying concealer/foundation first; this comes in a tube with a spongy wand applicator (dab where needed and blend). Next step is eyeshadow. There are 4 colors: light for brow bone, just a bit darker for the lids, darker for the eye crease, and darkest for the outer part of the eyelid. None of the shades are excessively dark, and all are fairly netrual shades ranging from taupe to brown. The crayon eye pencil is used next to line the lash line of upper lids, followed by "lash activator" (mascara) which is supposed to improve lash appearance in 30 days. Blush/bronzer is next - this comes in a container with 4 side-by-side colors. Finally, line the outer part of the lips with a white-ish reverse liner, and apply lip gloss. No applicators are included so you will need applicators for eye shadow and powder blush, plus an eye pencil sharpener. These are very good products, but I think they are only adequate if you have an even complexion to start and only need minor enhancement. I have light freckles, a bit of redness, and uneven skin tone so the little bit of concealer does not provide enough coverage. I also need an eyelid primer to have any chance of having the eyeshadow colors stay in place for more than a few hours. The lip gloss is light, so unless you want a very bare look or already have naturally pretty lip color, it does not add much color. However, that said, I really like all of the items, except I will need to use other products to enhance these 7 items (additional foundation or else a good primer, some eyelid primer, and a more noticeable lip color for under the gloss). If you need good coverage, these 7 products will likely not be adequate. If you want lighter coverage or a very natural look, this is a very nice kit.

I like everything here, the eyeliner is wonderfull. The only downer is when the eyeshadow says its for a naked eye, they mean it. I cant really tell the browand lid colors are on but the outer the color is very dramatic, I use it as an eyeliner or over the pencil liner for extra depth.

Quick Take: good value, time saving
I am always hearing my husband complain about how long I take to put on my make-up especially when we are getting ready for a ball or other type of special event. So now I am gorgeous in 7 minutes and no complaints. This was such a surprise for me, since I don't wear make-up everyday; usually just mascara and lip gloss or balm. I love that everything is in one place and it packs easily into a suit case and the products won't be all broken when you arrive. I think everyone who only has a few minutes to look fantastic should us this and not be applying make-up while they drive. This product might actually help reduce traffic jambs and maybe even accidents. You will need to provide your own brushes.

After a small false start..(several of the items were missing) I have really enjoyed this Kit..the mascara is amazing (a sell out in 2days in London) my lashes are showing an improvement in just 10days.. The Lipgloss is dewy, non sticky and I would have bought this anyway..the eyeshadow is all useable..and no bad colours, the foundation and coverage is good too..the blush is OK...the other items which basically are all free are OK..maybe I won't use them...I love Sephora putting these kits together, they are a great idea..the mascara which I went to purchase was $35 alone, so the extra $20 was well worth it!

I really like this set from Cargo. I actually had the palette and the yeliner, so I returned them to get the set. I love the eyeshadows, I like the gloss, and I haven't tried the Onebase yet. The eyeliner is nothing special-I feel like it winds up under my eyes, and I am waiting to see results from the Lash Actovator. Overall, a geat purchase

I had tried Cargo's waterproof mascara and loved it... so I decided this was a great way to try some of their other products. I love them all. The concealer coverage is wonderful and yet blends well enough to wear alone. The new mascara is great - though I may still like the waterproof better.

Although this is a great value, I was really disappointed with the mascara and the powder/cheek color/eyeshadow. I have had this set for more than two weeks now and I have only worn the powders once. The mascara was less than impressive, but the I LOVE the lip gloss and the eyeshadow. The concealer is a bit dark for me, but I was able to give it to a friend that really likes it. The outer lip liner is pretty good, but it does take a little practice to get it just right. The eye liner is good, but it does run a little. Al in all, I think it's a great value, but best suited for someone who spends their life indoors.

I have never used Cargo products before so this seemed like a good way to introduce them into my makeup collection without spending a ton of money. I have yet to use the mascara or the eyeliner. I am loving the blush and lip gloss. I am now jonesing to purchase more of their blushes. I like the shadow palette but the colours are a bit docile for my tastes I do prefer brighter looks but will use it when I am in the mood for neutrals. I think the idea of the lip gloss strip that tells you when 3 months is up is a good idea. However, I am not one to throw out my lip gloss after 3 months so it is highly unlikely I am going to start with this one.
I also think it is a bit of a joke that anyone can look as good as the model in the photos in 7 minutes. I am pretty adept at apply makeup and can not do a whole face in that amount of time. I guess if I just stuck with the basics it might be possible but I just can't help myself.

This is a FANTASTIC kit with lots of great/useable products. Many times there is only 1 or 2 things in a kit wothwhile, but I use 6 of the 7 products almost everyday (the concealer is a bit too peach for my skin tone). The eyeshadow and gloss are my favorites.

My favorite product in this kit is the eyeliner. The light brown color contrast with the dark brown color of my eyes making them appear bigger. I usually use black eyeliner but I came to realize after purchasing this kit that brown looks better on me. The mascara is also very nice, it separates each lash and coats them in black. The gloss was okay, it goes on sheer with just a hint of color. The blush really highlighted my skin and cheekbones. I haven't tried the concealer, eyeshadow, and lipliner yet but I'm sure that they are awesome just like the products that I have already tried. Also, the price for this set is awesome since they would've cost a fortune if purchased individually. You get a lot for less.

I bought this kit because I liked the colors of the blush and shadows. Now that I got it home I will never wear the eye shadows because they arent bright enough for me. I dont know what I was thinking. I don't like the mascara at all. Its not waterproof.. it is a great set for a starting out young woman learning to use product .. I like the cargo line..would buy products separately first before another box set unless it was a gift
