Quick Take: facial hair conditioning
So back around Father's Day sephora had a men's shaving trial kit and it was awesome and they also included a certificate to get one full size product and it was a great buy for men just to try different things out.
Anyways the beard lube came in the trial kit I purchased and at the time my husband loved to have facial hair. You know the celebrity scruffy face look. It is very attractive on men, how ever facial hair tends to be a bit harsh on the female face during a kiss. Well my husband primarily used this as a beard conditioner and can I just tell you after he used it just once there was a noticeable difference in the texture of his facial hair. He loves this product so much! Especially because I guess scruffy facial hair can get itchy on the neck and my husband said this worked wonders and would take the itch away.
So long facial hair or just stubble, I think this is a must buy for men who like to have consistent facial hair. My husband never used it as a ore shave so unfortunately I can't review that.

Beard Lube is amazing. It really helps soften the hair and skin, helping achieve a smoother shave. Since using this product, I have noticed that nicks are a thing of the past.

Great Product -- Not Just for Him Either!!

I purchased this for my "parent in crime," at a great price, especially considering that you get three large tubes of product and a little goes a long way.
It works great for him -- he is a difficult man to get to shave his face, but since getting this set for him he has said that the label is correct when saying that skin gets softer over time and shaving gets easier over just a few uses.
I also love it for myself and all of my areas that I shave. I am very dark haired and the hair I shave doesn't grow in dense, however; each hair follicle is pretty thick, and I have never had a better arm-pit shave than when using this "Beard Lube."
I usually use a shave lotion by "Kiss My Face," that I thought was wonderfu, however I ran out and decided to give this stuff a try, and it turns out that "Beard Lube," is more reasonably priced and it doesn't smell "too manly," so unless I find something better I will continue to use this for myself too!!
It truly makes your skin much softer and easier to shave over just a couple of uses, like I said, I have never had an arm-pit shave that was this wonderful -- I usually have bumps or roughness, but my arm pits are unbelievably smooth. The shave lasts longer than when I would use a sugar scrub before shaving with my other shave lotion. I am extremely impressed!
We will definitely continue to purchase this as our "must have" shaving "lube."

I purchased this set as a gift for my husband who indicated he was experiencing some skin dryness and irritation after shaving. After reading the reviews, I thought this would be a great product for him to try. Well . . . he is not a fan, but I use it to shave my legs and love it! Go figure . . . It has a nice tingly feel and is invigorating. Men . . . they're such insufferable darlings . . .

I purchased this 3 pack of Beard Lube Conditioning Shave to give to my 3 sons for Christmas. They love this product (when they use it) and it was a great stocking stuffer for my guys. Gets them off on the right foot for the New Year!

I bought this beard lube for my husband several years ago. And he is completely hooked. He will NOT use anything! He says its the best shaving cream he has ever used. He travels for buisness a lot so he usually keeps two on hand at all times; one for the bathroom and the other for his toiletry bag for traveling. I also love how smooth it makes his face after shaving.

This is the second time purchasing Jack Black- the first time I sent my hubby a gift set while he was deployed, and he really liked the products. Deployed again, and this is perfect- the tubes are large, and they smell really fresh- I'm sure he is going to love this!

Since more than one guy in my house (husband, teens) use Jack Black's Beard Lube Conditioning Shave, it makes sense to buy it in quantity, For home use, the Deluxe size works well, but for non-airline travel, it's nice that each can have their own tube, and that we can buy three and save $8. This was developed as an all-in-one pre-shave oil, shave cream and skin conditioner. But because it's transparent, it allows for better visibility on areas being shaved, making it ideal for new shavers. One of our teens has a tiny bit of acne, and he's tried this product. Compared to a white foamy shave cream, this helps by allowing the shaver to use less pressure around any areas broken out that need a lighter touch while shaving. While it's not the same as looking through clear glass, it's also not like shaving when you can't see the skin. He says it also softens his skin. This is an excellent shave cream for everyone.
PS These do not meet current TSA allowances for carry-on products - they're way too big. TSA will confiscate these products due to the large size if you try to take them in your carryon's.

I originally purchased a kit with beard lube in it, and my boyfriend loved how easy it made his daily shaving routine
so I decided to get this so he can stack up
I kept one for myself to give it a try on my own shaving routine and it actually works great!!

I got this for my boyfriend - the man's man - who refuses to step inside a Sephora store. After using it for a few weeks he claims it's the best stuff he's ever used and he has the closest shave he's ever had. His skin is soft, no cuts and he likes the consistency of the product. Easy to use, packs away nicely for trips and has a good look to it - not "floofy floofy" packaging as he would say.

Jack Black's Beard Lube is simply the best shaving cream I have ever used. First, it looks and feels like hair conditioner. Because it is so creamy, a little goes a long way. It goes on very smoothly. It does not foam, so I can see exactly where I shave. My razor just glides on my skin without making any nicks or cuts. Also, my skin feels super moisturized and smooth. Last, it has virtually no scent, so I don't smell like a man even though this shaving cream is meant for guys. I love it!
