I was excited to use it - I bought it from watching an eye makeup tutorial. I bought a brush with it too - but for some reason I got little clumps when you put it on... it just didn't go on smoothly. Oh I just noticed it's an eyeshadow?? Hmmm... I was using it as an eyeliner. It doesn't work well as an eyeliner. :-)

Goes on so smooth with a total matte finish! Long lasting is not even enough to describe this liner. No smudge or loss of intensity throughout the day. Absolute favorite and must have now!

I bought this because I had run out of my Bobbi Brown Liner gel and I LOVE IT! IT LASTS forever, goes on nice and smooth and doesn't smudge or budge!! I will be using this from now on...thank you MUFE!

I bought this color for my ballroom dance competition make up in order to get a really dark, dramatic black (most shadows fade to grey too quickly), it works like a dream! Easy to apply, water resistance, smudge proof and also works great as a cream/gel type eye-liner. I am very impressed.

I have used all sorts of drugstore cream eyeliners and even ELFs cream eyeliner, which is suppose to be comparable. Nothing even comes close in comparison to the Makeup Forever one. The other one's always go unused, and I always run back to this one. I wear it almost everyday, and one pot lasted me 10 months! I just bought my 2nd one!

Quick Take: amazing, long-lasting
I have tried a few different brands of this type of shadow and Make Up For Ever is the best by far. I use this product as a eyeliner and its the only liner that does not run for my very moist/oily waterline. I would definitely recommend this product. For the best results use it with an angle liner brush for precision lining.

I am not one to review products, however, I have to on this one! I bought this eyeliner about a week ago and decided to give it a try yesterday when I attended Jazz Fest in Nola. Let me just tell you, this eyeliner has staying power! I was outside in pouring down rain for 3 hours straight and this eyeliner never budged. Definitely a must have in my book!!

I have very oily eyelids and this is far the best one I've ever tried!!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a hesitation! This product works so well that I need to use makeup remover to take it off. I don't think I'll ever try anything else.

This as recommended to me by an employee when I asked for a black cream eyeliner that lasts all day with little smudging (I'm realistic with my big watery eyes. Eyeliners will eventually smudge). Well...ask and you shall receive! She was wearing it on her water line which is very impressive! I wear a cat eye every single day. This lasts from 5:30am Til 10:00pm with little smudging. I will never use a different one again as long as MUFE keeps making this!

I have dealt with dry skin for my entire life except for my eyelids which are either oily or watery. I've tried eye pencils, kohl pencils, liquid eyeliner, cake eyeliner and so on. This eyeliner was recommended to me and so naturally I had to give it a try. I'm so glad i did because it stays with me through the entire day. I had read some of the reviews that talked about the product drying up and I can see that mine is starting to do the same thing to me but keeping the seal on the jar tightly is minimizing this.

Application is so great, way better than the fluid line.. But, with my oily eye lids, it'll look good far away, but up close it'll start fading away. Hopefully looks better with the UD primer potion!

So far I have only used this as an eye liner and its the most amazing black eye liner I have ever used and I've tried at least 5 other companies in the last year and this by far is the best. It stays on all day, doesn't smudge, glides on easily and it doesn't get dry. I would recommend this to anybody that is looking for a long lasting black eye liner
