Quick Take: defining, lengthening
I use this mascara and it held up on a fitness retreat in Tulum,MX. It stayed put, but it is somewhat tricky to remove. My esthetician thought my eyelashes were extensions when she looked at my eyelashes (I used the mascara that day).

Quick Take: defining, keeps the curl
I bought this mascara in feb of 2011 & I loved it! it keeps the curl to my lashes & that's what I want in a mascara the most! but I bought this one last month b/c I tried a lot of other mascaras when I ran out of this one & nothing compared to this one. the one I purchased last month idk if it was too new but it feels like its a different brush or a new formula. but I'm going to keep using it & maybe the formula wont be so runny after it dries out a little. overall it still keeps the curl but my lashes aren't as long as what I remember the old formula doing.

My eyes are extremely watery and my eye lashes are extremely thin and feather like. This mascara does not fade, even with my watery eyes and makes my eyelashes that look like I go from 10 lashes to 20. Completely thickens and extends my lash look! love it! buying it for my mom!

Love the regular version and wore this for running a half marathon and it didn't budge! Also totally lasted through the shower after and all day with all the same greatness as the regular version. Passed the test!

Quick Take: lengthening, super waterproof
Very waterproof! No smears or smudges after swimming and I rub my eyes alot! I wear contacts and need a mascara like this that won't run into my eyes. It was worth the money for the summer!

I"m shocked at the ratings this product is getting after my experience with it. It ran down my face in the pool after 30 seconds! It was also clumpy. I love Makeup Forever, but I have no love for the Aqua line. Not so waterproof and not so smudgeproof. I won't be buying these products again. Very sad.

I use the word love often- but I really mean it when we're talking about Aqua Smoky Lash. It has all of the dramatic powers of Smoky Lash- but it doesn't smudge and doesn't move. It's truly waterproof and requires serious work to get it off the end of the day. Amazing!

This is some serious waterproof mascara. I use make up remover clothes and then eye makeup remover and still wake up needing to redo the removal. I guess you can say it has staying power.

I was looking for somethign to use during Tough Mudder (hey I still wanna look pretty even if runnign through 10 miles of muddy obstacles!) and i can't say enoug hhow great this worked. Not a single smudge!

This is a very good mascara that defines and volumizes my lashes. You only need to apply one coat to your lashes and they look great. I made the mistake of applying two coats and it made my lashes clumpy. I haven't had any issues of the mascara running or giving me racoon eyes, but I don't apply mascara to my bottom lashes. After I bought this mascara I saw a review that said this will dry up faster than other mascaras so you have to use it up fast. This wouldn't be an issue if I only used one mascara at a time but I like changing my mascara up so I have 3 or 4 that I use at a time. I would recommend this if you are looking for a good waterproof mascara and you only use one at a time. I really like this product but I would not purchase it again for the $23 price tag.

I am a huge fan of the this mascara, so I thought I would try the waterproof. I agree with other reviewers who say this has a strange formula, I cannot get my lashes to hold a curl the same way. As far as waterproof, it definitely is, but I do not need flat waterproof lashes, I might as well not wear mascara! I will be exchanging this for my beloved regular Smoky Lash.

My eyelashes typically do NOT hold curl. I curl the heck out of them, put on mascara, and then not five minutes later do they fall flat. This was until I found this mascara! I've tried several different kinds of mascara from Sephora, but this one is by far my favorite! Thickens, lengthens, curls, and just looks great!
