Really Messy! Don't Bother!- 03.14.10
This was a freebie so I am not irritated financially but for some reason all the eye shadows seem to mix together. Not a good choice for keeping your eye colors.

I am obssesed with this palette and also pretty sneaky of sephora to give it to you for free when you buy 3 MUFE eyeshadows .. it only makes you want to buy more shadows to fill the whole palette and by the time the palette is completed you most likely have 2 new empty ones to filled thanks to sephora :) ... but with that said i have to say im in love with it and the color selection for it its just wonderful... BUT of course the only thing i hate about it its the fact that it gets so dirty and cheap looking on the outside, all you have to do its touch it once and your prints are all over it and after a week its full of powder and finger prints on the outside as well as on the inside.. ME being the perfectionist that i am when it comes to makeup, keeps cleaning it and keep it in the plastic wrap it came in .. other than that i must say i love it !!..

Love it. Not only does it fit all those lovely MUFE eyeshadows, but it fits Stila eyeshadows and blushes.
I wish MUFE would make blushes, eyeliner wells and more things to fit into it. I would buy so much more stuff.
I think the latch is very secure and the shadows are quite secure in the tension foam.

The palette itself is cool and useful, but should come with an insert that explains how to get the shadows or blushes out of their individual containers without breaking them. *Here's a hint... take the label off the bottom and use a pin to poke the shadow from underneath!

I'm really a fan of this palette. The eyeshadows are easy to pop in and out, the palette is sturdy and closes securely. I actually like that it doesn't have a mirror, since I'm it won't get all dirty and I wouldn't use a small mirror to apply makeup anyway. This palette also fits Stila eyeshadows and blushes, FYI.

Quick Take: cheap plastic, flimsy, non-magnetized
No wonder these were being given away with a purchase of 3 MUFE eyeshadows! This is cheap flimsy plastic. No magnetized backing... you simply press the eyeshadow pans into the circles. Not even worth keeping even if FGWP. Unlike the MUFE palettes you can purchase at the MUFE boutique, there is no groove whereby you can tip the pans out.

I like this, but it's low-quality- 01.31.10
Quick Take: portable
I feel like this palette could have been more durable or better designed. While it is aesthetically great, the fact that only sponge tension holds my shadows in is worrisome. I would have rather preferred magnets, holding the metal pans that MUFE makes... especially since you know these are 6 cents to make.. The palette is the only one in the store that I would trust anyway, cuz MUFE is pretty much perfection in a brand..

If I had the option to give no star I would. The lining of this palette is foam like. It's not magnetized and you can't take the shadows/blush out after you put them in. Yes, the palette is nice and sleek but it's not worth $20. MUFE should come out with a magnetize palette so the colors can be changed out as needed.

With slight modification, extremely useful- 01.11.10
I have two of these. I used a hair dryer to heat up the glue that adheres the piece of foam that holds the pans in the case, and I pulled it out. Then I laid a magnetic sheet in the bottom of each case (one was a couple of those magnet calendars you get from various stores around Christmas, the other I ordered on eBay). While the standard packaging for stuff like Urban Decay and The Balm is pretty, retail palettes take up way more space than these MUFE palettes, so I depotted roughly 60 eyeshadows from various companies (UD, The Balm, NARS, NYX, and one of those avalanche-of-colors holiday sets), and my MUFE palettes are full, end to end, with rectanuglar, square, and round eyeshadow pans in sizes ranging from a dime to a half dollar. I have 26 round pans in one palette and 36 oblong pans in the other. Switching back and forth to create one travel palette is easy. My only concerns are these: 1) that the latch seems a teensy bit unreliable (like the thing might pop open unexpectedly - when I travel I'll be using a rubber band to make sure it stays closed), and 2) if I drop one of these modified palettes there is a chance I'll break some product. So I'm careful about putting them down solidly on a flat surface. However, they're slim, and stackable, and now I have access to tons of colors without opening and closing numerous palettes and packages and pots.

Bigger than I thought but it is awesome to keep all my shadows in. I'll probably need another one soon since I am now obsessed with MUFE. I wouldn't have spent the $ on it though, if I was a professional makeup artist I would.
