Quick Take: good value, long lasting
I bought this as a gift for a significant other, because I had bought girl Givenchy perfumes before and I absolutely loved them. I took a risk and bought this and it smells incredible. It is so sexy.

Quick Take: sexy
I spent a decent amount of time in department stores last christmas trying to find a cologne I liked for my boyfriend, and I was shocked at how hard it was to find something that didn't smell like pine trees or aftershave. But when I sprayed this one on my wrist I got weak in the knees. It's warm, maybe amber-y, and woody without being "woodsy" (if that makes any sense).
I left without buying it so that I could see if I still liked it upon a second visit (because sheesh it's expensive). But after about an hour of walking around I smelled my wrist again and it had gotten sooo much better. I knew this was the one.
If I went out dancing and smelled this on a guy I would probably have to jump him right then and there.
Now if only I could find a fragrance like this for ME (the Play for Her wasn't nearly as captivating) then I would be in heaven

I purchased a gift set last year for my boyfriend, is this was one of the samples. This is now the second bottle I have purchased. He loves it, smell great, and he gets many compliments on it. would purchase again! Masculine and sexy :)

Can't stop smelling it

Quick Take: fresh, sexy
I got this for my boyfriend as a gift after smelling just about every men's cologne in the store. I kept coming back to this one- it is not overpowering, it is not musky, deep, or girly. It is just sexy, fresh, and clean. It has a lot of light tones packed into it, but masculine too for a great balance.
I guess I should comment on him too- he loves it too, haha. It's appropriate for a night out, or every day if it's kept light.

This is the 3rd bottle I've bought for my husband. I love this fragrance. Not too strong - just a pleasant smell. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is I don't think it lasts long enough.

This is not very suited for straight men, from my humble point of view. It is sweet, nice smelling, almost wonderful, but addressed to a wrong destination. I know this is the actual trend in most of the brands right now, bleah.

Quick Take: good value
Givenchy Play is a great scent that has a fresh beginning and a woodsy finish. It is not one of those typical, overused frat boy scents, which makes it appealing to me. It is not overpowering. One to two sprays to the chest makes it so only those a few feet from you can smell it (you won't stink up the room). Women have responded by leaning in closer to get a better whiff.

There is nothing special about this fragrance. It isn't horrible, but just so generic. It has top notes of Baby Powder. Which I do not like. Nothing Great. Pick Something else.

Smells Amazing!

I received a sample of Play with one of my online orders and thought it was great. My husband who is a little on the picky side gave it a try and loved it too. It became our favoirte right away and he's now on his second bottle. My husband is in his late 30's, so we don't really feel it's geared to the younger crowd at all. Play is long lasting and smells absolutely amazing!
