I really like this product... pleasant smelling, goes on light, no greasy feeling. I only wish that this line would combine a moisturizer and a sunscreen all in one. I'm not sure if it is preggers friendly though.

The BEST sunscreen EVER!!!- 11.12.09

I have tried so many sunscreens over the years in search of the perfect one...and I'm thilled to say that I have FINALLY found it! This sunscreen is AWESOME!!! It provides excellent UVA/UVB protection, applies easily and smoothly, doesn't contain fragrance (YAY!!), is not greasy at all, and layers beautifully under my foundation. It's not sticky, doesn't ball up when layering, no white cast on the skin, not shiny.....JUST PERFECT!!!

This product is amazing! It glides on smooth and absorbs quickly. The sunscreen offers a high level of SPF protection without leaving a ghostly glow on my brown skin. I absolutely love it!!! I wear the Decleor Neroli oil underneath it and they work well together. This is the perfect combination for my combination skin...I am very pleased :)

I wish I found this at the beginning of the summer. it is perfect for wearing under makeup, as it has no residue and has no oil. Every sunscreen I tried either clogged my pores or was way too heavy but this serum is so light weight. would recommend it to every one.

Not Impressed- 09.29.09
I was a little disappointed in this serum. It is not really a serum, not like I am used to. It is white and feels like other light sunscreens. It is not sticky or heavy, but my face did breakout the whole week I was at the beach. It could have been caused by the sun or something else. I bought this expensive sunscreen in hopes that I would not breakout. It did not help. I do not plan to buy again.

This is it! If you have oily skin, I highly recommend. It's not like a typical serum, more like a lotion, but absorbs quickkly. Only one pump will take care of the whole face which makes it worth the money. I will not live without this facial sunscreen. It's the last step in my regime. I learned over the ears how important it is to give it a little time in between layering on products prior to makeup application. Since I am very oily, I still do use a blotting paper when necessary...but this does not feel heavy at all and it does the job very, very well. I live in Hawaii - sunscreen is not to be overlooked no matter where you live, and this holds up extremely well!! Won't disappoint!

This is simply fantastic. I use the whole Kate Somerville line. I love tis sunscreen. I cannot believe that I use an SPF 55 every day. This is great for your skin health. It is lightweight, and milky. It soaks right in and is formulated without parabens, alcohol, or fragrances, OR OILS! This should be used by everyone to ensure beautiful skin for the rest of your lives.

Quick Take: light, ultra greasy/shiny
I bought this because I was finding the Shiseido too sticky. I thought that because this was a serum it would be light. It is light- but my face is shinier than it has ever been. I have normal to dry skin and this made me look SO oily. Because of how much I spent on it- I wear it on the weekends, but never too work!

Simply the best yet!!!- 08.24.09
I have very sensitive skin. I am also prone to breakouts especially in my chin area. I have been using this product for a few days now and I love it! It is very hot and humid right now where I live and this product is perfect. I haven't had any breakouts from this sunscreen, however, I don't think I would call it a serum. I was expecting a clear serum, but it is white like any other sunscreen. It's a nice consistency and absorbs fairly quick leaving behind a little bit of a glow. My skin is oily right now in the summer time, but this product is not at all heavy. Would recommend this product over any other facial sunscreen especially for breakout prone or oily skin types.

I am also very sensitive to fragrances and chemicals especially on my face, so when I tried this product I was so thrilled and now I'm back for my second order. I love this sunblock/serum. It moisturizes just enough and does NOT clog my pores. I have very dark, sensitive skin. I have tried MANY different brands and this is the only brand that works and causes no new breakouts.

this is a really nice sunscreen for the face. many others are too heavy or sort of a vaseline stick consistency. this one is light but seems to offer excellent coverage and protection. not at all greasy. i also have her tube sunscreen which now i use for my body as this spreads much more nicely for face.

This does exactly what it says, it was exactly what I have been searching for. The price is reasonable considering the size and the packaging makes it so you can easily use all of it. It is lightly hydrating, non-greasy, water resistant and antioxidant rich. Aloe vera is also an ingredient and it is perfect for skin that is burnt or scarred. I have read that antioxidants are more effective than regular sunscreen in the fall months, but I like to have both all of the time just in case! This smells very lightly and it fades quickly (the smell). My mom has been searching for a sunscreen for years and we are both convinced this is the HG! I am so happy I tried this product, I will try more of this line. It does not make my skin look more greasy because it sinks in so quickly and it feels amazingly soft. Worth the price!

I've tried so many sunscreens and they have all made me break out, until now. This serum sunscreen is light and nongreasy. It also doesn't take a lot to cover the entire face. It's expensive, but I think it's worth the extra bucks. I highly recommend it if you're prone to breakouts.

Finally found the right sunblock!- 07.21.09

I hve tried many different sunblocks, including many touted as oil-free. I had always heard that Neutragena products were formulated to be easy on your skin; however, their facial sunblock exacerbated my already oily skin problem and caused breakouts. Their sunscreen and every other sunscreen that I have tried would not absorb into my skin. They all formed a grease slick on my skin that had to be blotted off. Not so with my new Kate Somerville Sunscreen!! It absorbas immediately and is not greasy or smelly. I will be taking it with me on my trip to Cancun in the fall. I am thrilled with this product!! After two years of searching, I have finally found an excellent product that works for my skin. Now I no longer have to be embarrassed about how shiny my face looks after an application of sunscreen!

I've used it once so far and I liked it. Not too heavy. Not too smelly. Might not be good for those with very sensitive skin. Some got onto my eyelids and it kind of stung a bit. Other than that it was great. Pricey though!
