Works so well and worth the money

I always had such a hard time brushing my hair because its so thick,curly and tangled. I had even bought a detangler and still had a hard time. This product has saved my hair. My hair falls out less and is so shiny and smooth. A must buy for anyone who need help with tangled hair !

I purchased this brush on a whim at sephora and love it. I usually use the very overpriced and over hyped mason pearson brush and have to say it gives the same results. My hair is shinier, bouncier, and untangling is so easy. My wallet is also a lot happier. This proves that more $$ doesnt mean higher quality : )

a new favorite

i have medium-long hair that is naturally wavy, which tends to frizz easily. most brushes i use generate a lot of static-- which only encourages my unwanted frizzy hair-- but this brush is AWESOME. there's no static and my hair just comes out sleek and shiny and smooth! i love it!! i feel like i can be in a hair commercial or something. this brush is like my new favorite toy-- i can't stop brushing my hair! i just love how it makes my hair feel. other perks-- the handle is comfortable and the bristles don't yank on my hair as it untangles. what more can i ask for? :)

A professional hair stylist who has styled the hair of models on Project Runway recommended to me that I try the Sephora boar bristle hairbrush as being a very good substitute for the more expensive boar bristle paddle brush that he uses professionally.

I am not sure I would call this a detangler as I find it to be a pretty good everyday brush for getting all the stray hairs out - if you've got long hair and a lot of it, you might get a lot of stray hairs and find that a lot of brushes, while they will un-mess the hair, just won't pick up all the stray hairs so you wind up with most of them on you! This won't solve the problem but its a good start.
One caveat - the long bristles are a little sharp with very fine tips so sometimes it's a little scratchy!

Stimulates the scalp and distributes natural oils for healthy shine. It feels great.
Only thing I would change is the rubber smell. It fades with time on it's own, but I wish it didn't come with that smell right out of the packaging.

I read the reviews for this brush and ordered it knowing what some of the complaints were. I agree that it is BEST for fine hair that is shoulder length or shorter. It works great for me (since I fit into those categories) but if you have long, thick or coarse hair there is probably something that will be better suited for you. This brush would have a hard time getting to your roots/scalp.

This can't be your only brush because it wouldn't work for brushing wet hair or styling (for the same reason). But, for all those other times in a day when you might want to brush your hair, it's incredible. Leaves hair feeling super sleek and soft. Plus, it's very gentle and getting out knots. For the price - I would absolutely recommend it to a friend.

This is BY FAR the best brush I have ever owned. I have tried every brush under the sun for my daughters, who have lots of very fine very long hair. Brushing their hair used to be a NIGHTMARE! It would always end in tears. This brush is MAGIC! It de-tangles their hair wet or dry, and leaves it silky soft. Best part... THEY ENJOY GETTING THEIR HAIR BRUSHED NOW! THANK GOODNESS, and thank you Sephora! BEst $24 I have ever spent.
