Quick Take: shine enhancing
Since it's my first time to use round brush to dry my hair, there's no comparison. I used to dry hair with a dryer and my fingers, it turned out to be fuzzy and would be totally ruined after one sleep. ( I don't wash hairs everyday cuz it takes me so much time and energy to dry them). This brush works perfectly upon layers of hairs, but not suitable for bang, it's too big. And my hair turns to be shiny and stay as well even after all night sleep.

Speeds up drying time

Quick Take: easy to hold, frizz reducing, less time to straighten
I enjoyed this product. I loved my old brush, but it was getting old and I couldnt find it anywhere. This brush is reasonably priced so I gave it a shot. I have curly hair and this helped with the frizz control and it lessened the amount of time it took to straighten. The width of the handle is nice as well, minimizes the pain I usually get in my hand while holding the brush and the blowdryer at the same time.

So i purchased the brush as a replacement for my usual round brush, not of the sephora brand. And maybe it is my
Fine hair, but the brush was horrific. Created fly-aways, got my hairs tangled multiple times in the joint between the handle and the brush. After one use I immediately returned it. Will def be going back to the wood handle kind I had before.

This brush was exactly what I was looking for. My stylist recommended a boars bristle brush to help with frizz and to add volume and it does just that. With the right products I'm good to go now! Price is steeper than what I've paid for brushes in the past but well worth it.

The brush helps me achieve great volume and shine without the frizz! It can be a bit of a workout to use because it's hard to work through the hair... but I have experienced that with any round brush. The look is worth the work!

Not for Thick Hair

I bought this brush after mine had the handle fall off while using it. I've always wanted to try a boar bristle brush because i've heard they're really good for you hair. But this brush does not work for my long thick hair. It was hard to run the brush through my hair without it pulling really hard or getting tangled. So I bought another brush and am keeping this one only as a 'finishing' brush to smooth the top layer and reduce frizz. If you have fine/thin hair though, I think it would be amazing

I hadn't bought a new hairbrush in like 15 years because I couldn't find one as good as the one I had. Well, this one is that good. I have thick, unruly hair and this brush does a great job of detangling without yanking.

I love this brush except for the seam where the brush head meets the handle - my hair always gets stuck in there and rips if I'm not super careful! And also like other reviewers have stated, this brush will cause static if you use it on dry hair so it's best to use it while hair is damp. Despite these drawbacks, the boar's bristles really do make your hair softer!

My hair is not frizzy with this brush, but using the brush it's hard for it to grab your hair as you blowdry. You almost have to have a section of hair and put the brush underneath it. This is not what I was used to, and it bothers me.

I have very fine hair and this brush causes crazy static I cannot use it. It is a light brush and does cause my hair to be soft once I have calmed it down post brush but it has gone into my giveaway pile.

Nice stiff bristles make this brush perfect for getting tangles out, as well as curling and shaping hair. Solid construction, quality components. This is a brush I will keep around for a long time as it will last. It has become my "go-to" brush now...I wouldn't leave home without it!!

Quick Take: easy to hold, shine enhancing
I really like this brush, I have very thick, very curly hair and I blow-out about every 3 days. I am very careful with my hair, I don't like the dryer to get too hot, and when I go to a salon I don't like the stylist to go ripping through my hair with careless abandon - it causes breakage! I've fired more than one stylist for that! But this is a great brush to use for my blow-out, it's "kind" to my hair.

I recently purchased this brush based on reviews that I saw and I have to say it made my hair super staticky.I decided to keep it but will not use it again. Or maybe would try it again when I don't have to go to work. I have to say I do shop a lot on the Sephora App or in stores and I'm always soooo happy with everything.
