Best Brush
-05.19.13
I was in need of a replacement brush and did some research. I did not want to shell out the big bucks for one of those really pricey premium brushes and decided to go with Sephora's Paddle Brush. I am so glad that I did. It is by far the best brush I have ever had. I have long (lower back), thick latina hair. I have yet to have a snag with this brush. It seems impossible, but the brush smoothes my hair without tugging as I have had with every other brush ever. I cannot speak of the brush making my hair shinier. I have changed my routine since buying the brush, so cannot claim that the brush adds shine. The whole ion thing sounds like mumbo jumbo, but the brush is doing everything right! I am quite pleased and would highly recommend this product.

Poor Quality
-05.07.13
Quick Take: extremely poor quality
I purchased this brush a few weeks ago, and the plastic bristles are twisted and contorted as though I had been using this hair brush for years. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this product

Love it
-01.26.13
Quick Take: easy to hold
I am very cheap when it comes to hairbrushes, and NEVER hardly ever buy them, but knowing the return policy of sephora, i went ahead and bought it. This brush is terrific.. I have very knotted up hair, and really thought this wouldn't work, or it would break (In the past,i have broken a lot of hairbrushes),, hair is wavy/curly, and this brush goes right thru it.. decided to use it on my sons hair (he is only 2), he has tight tight ringlets and has knots all over, all the time, and this works to brush his hair! and it doesn't pull on the scalp, so he doesn't cry when i brush it , like he does when i use a comb.

I love this brush
-01.11.13
I have been searching for a brush that works, does not make my hair full of static, and does not pull and this brush is perfect. It is better than brushes twice even three times the price.

Amazing!
-01.06.13
Quick Take: easy to hold, massaging, shine enhancing
I absolutely love this brush! I've been using this brush for a few months- I wish I would have found it sooner! I was at first skeptical as to how this brush made hair shiny- but it does! I also love that its a large paddle brush- runs through my hair quickly and efficiently. Definitely does detangle, love love love this brush! Also- I haven't experienced any of the white flaking off of the brush, and I use this brush with wet and dry hair, and also when blow drying and straightening.

Great brush, but enamel chips
-12.28.12
Quick Take: easy to hold, shine enhancing
I have had this brush for a couple years now. I love that is does everything it claims to do. I have fine, full and very long hair that tends to get frizzy after air-drying. This brush has done wonders to help calm my hair and I love that it requires only a few passes to brush my hair in the mornings because of the size of the paddle. I am going to have to replace the brush soon, however, because the enamel at the top of the paddle has begun to chip and flake off and the wood handle is showing through. I wish that the enamel was a bit more durable, but otherwise the brush works well.

fantastic for poofy hair
-12.01.12
I have really course, wavy hair that poofs when I brush it. The only difference this brush makes is that when I brush my hair, it doesn't poof. That in itself is awesome

Does the opposite of what it claims!
-10.14.12
Quick Take: static-inducing, noticeably dulling effect
I purchased this hairbrush with some reservation given the price after being reassured I could return it if unhappy. The first time I used it I had static flyaways all over the place and had to wet the brush to run it through my dry hair. Though it appears well made with a nice heft to it and feels great on the scalp, the positives end there. After brushing for a few minutes my hair began to look noticeably duller and started acting strangely uncooperative. It is either depositing something on the hair shaft or creating a reaction that it causing my hair to fly away in spots and cling together in others. I wish I'd stuck with a much cheaper non-Sephora brand, like my old Rusk paddle brush that came free with a hairdryer and held up for at least five years with chronic blowdrying use. I can't recommend this and it will be going back.

Great Brush
-09.12.12
Quick Take: shine enhancing, easy to hold, massaging
I love everything about this brush. I really like that it helps with the static electricity that hair tends to have all the time! The only down side I have with this product is that the white paint/plastic flakes off very easily. So everyday before I leave I have to check my hair for white paint chips in my hair.

Great brush, must have
-07.08.12
Quick Take: shine enhancing, detangles, glides through hair
I absolutely love this brush! I have very long, extremely fine hair that gets tangled easily. I usually have to use loads of conditioner and then spray in detangler just to brush it out after a shower. It was a very painful process. I tried this paddle brush and it just glides through my hair without pulling it at all. I recommend giving it a try, it's well worth the price.

Paddle Brush

Good enough that when I lost it, I bought it again.
Easily and painlessly detangles, leaving hair smooth and shiny. A bit more expensive than I'd like, but it looks nice and works better than drug store versions.

I've owned a few paddle brushes, but I'm most impressed with this one. Detangles gently and doesn't cause static. Contours feel good in hand and is lightweight. Would buy again.
