This is good when you are short on time and can't wash your hair. Leaves your scalp looking and feeling matte. This is good for after sports or a hard workout, Make sure to really rub it all thru the scalp and then brush out.

Quick Take: scented, easy to use
Absolutely wonderful. Of all of the dry powders I've ever used this one is the best. The smell is strong and it really keeps your hair from becoming greasy. It's a great product.

I usually love all things ojon...however, the dry formula of their ddry shampoo is not my favorite. It definitely doesn't work as good as the spray version....or other powders i have tried.... And it feels heavy in my hair by the end of the day. It still does what its supposed to do, but the other options are better.

Great for those of us who use too much hair spray- 10.12.09
Quick Take: scented, easy to use
My bangs are always getting weighed down with hairspray, but if I brush a little of this stuff through my hair they perk right up! I love the way this stuff smells and you don't need to use a whole lot of it in order to get results either (which is great, considering the price). I've also used it in aerosol form, but since I didn't use it very often it clogged up. So, if you don't think you'll need this product very often I would recommend the powder.

Quick Take: scented, easy to use
This doesn't work as well as the spray dry cleansing powder, but the spray always clogs and becomes useless after the first or second use, so this is far superior in that respect. You just squeeze it on. Good for a quick fix.

just a little bit works wonders... i haven't had any problems with flaking. the only potential problem is if you accidently use too much, it is hard to get it all washed out next time you wash your hair.
an added benefit, it adds great texture!

Ojon finally got it right!!!!- 10.01.09
I loved the Ojon dry shampoo, but HATED the spray delivery system. Now, I can get all the benefits of the dry shampoo without the hassle of the spray. The powder goes on perfectly and you can control the quantity. This little bottle will last me a while. Great product redesign! Love it!

Quick Take: easy to use
I tried this powder after getting tired of the way the spray can version always got clogged up/ran out of gas or whatever. It is a nice fine powder, doesn't smell too bad. Does the job, but I don't like it as much as the aerosol version.

This is a huge improvement over the aerosol can version of the Ojon dry shampoo, which was always getting clogged. I absolutely love the smell (smells like the Ultra Hydrating Conditioner) and it gives me an extra day between shampoos!

Quick Take: scented, rich, very white
The OJON Rub-Out did not work at all in my black hair. By following the directions of placing the nozzle at my scalp and massaging in then combing out, the white product was still very visible in my hair and my hair felt more dirty. The next time I tried it I thought of using less product and gently puttling the powder in problem areas, in which case you couldn't see the product in my hair but it simple did not freshen up my style in any way. I was hoping that I could skip a shower, but I couldn't. Perhaps I have oilier hair and therefore this product is less suitable for me. Or perhaps the product is just that ineffective. Also, I've heard that the spray dry shampoo is more effective than the powder, so maybe that would be money well spent. I'll have to try that out and let you know.

I love it. you sprinkle it on and comb you hair and no more greasy feeling. I sprinkle the powder on my fingers and then brush my fingers through my hair to prevent too much falling onto my scalp which then looks like you have a bunch of white powder in your hair. this way you cant tell at all! Oh.. and it smells nice, i hate the smell of baby powder, so this is a nice sub. it also has a different feel then baby powder, it almost feels more stiff like hair spray. at least to me.

Fabulous product! Perfect for a quick hair pick me-up, to get another day out of a blow dry, or to freshen up hair if you don't have time to style it. It smell is lovely and light. I have naturally curly, highlighted hair that I straighten, so getting another day out of a blowdry has made a world of difference for the health of my hair.

Wow! Really? A short cut to hair cleansing? Smells good and actually made my hair bounce and way more body at the roots. Put small pea size dots on pointer and middle finger & ring finger.... rub lightly at hair line and on roots. Watch it disapear and revive the hair. I.m really impressed this works...Ojon! Great Job! Your products are supreme!

Because I am old enough to remember putting baby powder in my hair as a teenager to acomplish the same result, I was a little skeptical to try this product :) But because Sephora is so good about returns, I decided to give it a try. I really like it! After you massage it into you hair, and flip your head over and brush it out, there is no trace of powder on your scalp. And it does take most of the greasy "part line" away. What I was surprised to find was that it even gives a little lift .

Quick Take: easy to use, good deal
I am a fan of the original aersol spray dry shampoo, but I go through a bottle in about 2 months or so. Not to mention I have to keep unclogging the nozzle.
So trying this powdered dry shampoo was a very pleasant surpise. The scent is much milder than the spray, not to mention this bottle is a better investment than the spray since I need less of it. It also gives my hair a bit more volume, which I found lacking in the aerosol spray.
When applying, make sure to rub the powder between your hands to distribute evenly before applying to your hair. Then be sure to rub thorougly. You cannot see the powder at all, even with my black hair.

Helps soak up oil- 08.24.09
Quick Take: easy to use
This product this help soak up extra oil on your hair esp. on the top of your head. You have to really rub the white powder in or your hair will look super flakey. I have extremely oily hair I can wash my hair the night before and wake up with oily hair. So this product does help with that. However it doesn't give the look and feeling of just washed hair. I have yet to find a dry shampoo that will do that for me.
