Believe it or not, was too dark for me, I am super white and like foundation to be lighter. Thick and doesn't spread well. My skin is dry in winter and it was too cakey and thick. I am going to try liquid.

I'm not a fan of cream foundations, but my color (120) was out in the liquid. I am really impressed. The coverage is perfectly buildable and blendable. It is slightly drying on my skin which is why I prefer the liquid, but still totally wearable. This company has finally made very fair toned foundations work for me. No more having to wear a color that is too dark and bronzing my neck to match... Ew. I'm a convert.

Finally!- 12.29.09
Quick Take: smooth, blendable
I cannot believe I have finally found a foundation that matches my extremely pale Norwegian skin! I got CF 135 - CF 110 is actually TOO light, (OMG!) so I use it under my eyes. Wow, fantastic! I'm going to have to buy like another half dozen of these before they're discontinued (as the products that work for me always are, lol)... This is THE ONE!

Great product, bad color- 11.24.09
In my search for a pale, yellow-based foundation I tried C135, but it was too pink. The texture was great, but the color was bad. I emailed Illamasqua but they don't have any yellower colors that are very pale. Going back to the foundation hunt.

Didn't care for the texture or coverage- 11.11.09
I bought this based on the great reviews. It didn't work for me. It was too creamy, as in goopy--it didn't set, but stayed rather greasy on the skin, even though I used very little initially.
I found it to be watery and cakey at the same time, if that makes sense. The coverage could be buildable, but just the two days' worth I used made me think this compact would not last long at all, either. A few weeks maybe? Also, it seemed to accent pores, redness and flaws rather than smooth and blend.
It's back to Airflash or powder foundations for me.

If you're looking for the best white makeup...- 11.08.09

This is it. I LOVE this makeup. I got this in CF110 (white with pink undertones) because I'm very pale, but I wanted to go a little paler and put some light finishing powder on top. Makeup always looks too dark or orange on my skin. This worked perfectly. It covers really well, and it's easy to vary the amount of coverage if you want something heavier/lighter. It lasts all day and it doesn't make me oily or shiny, and I have an oily t-zone. It also doesn't irritate or dry my skin at all, as I have dry patches frequently under my eyes and on my cheeks. And it does smell like vanilla! It makes me look like a doll, it's just perfect! I will definitely be buying this forever.

Long lasting, true color- 10.08.09

I used to stay away from cream foundations since I have oily skin but decided to give this a try. I was glad I did, it went on smooth and didn't feel greasy or waxy. The color was true and didn't fade or turn orange as they day wore on. I haven't had any breakouts from this product and my skin didn't get shiny after the first couple of hours as it had with other cream foundations. I never heard of Illamasqua but so far I like this product very much.

This foundation has a lovely smell (vanilla) and a creamy texture that is a delight to spread onto your face. The color CF120 matches my porcelein skin with pink undertones perfectly. It doesn't feel cakey or look cakey. The sponge feels good but it tends to absorb a lot of product; a foundation brush would likely work better. I have yet to break out from this product in 3 weeks.

Exquisite! Fantastic Cream Foundation!- 08.19.09

I recently purchased this foundation in CF 215. I Have medium-toned, lightly tanned skin. This is great, it does not have pink undertones, which I love. I was looking for a full coverage, yet not cakey/heavy foundation. This is exactly that, plus more! I have horrible scarring/dark spots from acne, sun spots, etc... This covers just beautifully, and does NOT look heavy at all. It gives you a soft luminous full coverage, without looking heavy. It truly is a beautiful makeup, and I will never switch! Only down fall is that it rubs off very easily, I'm in the process of finding a light powder to use with this. Otherwise, it's awesome!! Thank you Illamasqua!!

I was so excited when I heard about this new make up so i decided to do some reserch on it. Everyone seemed to love it. I saw that it was originally from eurpe, and I was about to go to Ireland for vacation(originally from ny). Yesterday I found their counter in ireland and asked to try it wih the hope of cominng back home atnd buying it at Sphora. I have oily skin just so you know. The make up did not last long, felt greasy and just never dried. It seem to move all over my face and this is all with setting powder.
I was really hoping that this would work cause it just sounded perfect but i guess not.

This foundation is just so wonderful! Not only do they offer a shade light enough for my skin, but it applies so smoothly and evenly. The coverage is medium, but it really give your skin a sort of airbrushed look and feel. At first I was hesitant to get the cream foundation because my skin is combination/oily, but this worked great and didn't make me shiny or anything. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I bought this because it looked like it would be pale enough for my skin, and it was! I am extremely pleased with this foundation, and probably will never be switching. It smells great, fits my ultra pale skin, goes on smooth and blends easy. It gives a nice natural finish, doesn't cake and blends easily.

CF110 THE HG Foundation for The Ultra-Pale- 08.06.09

I just got this today and have already put it on and taken it off 3 times because I'm having a hard time believing it's for real. It just ROCKS for the Casper girls out there. Doesn't make me look like I'm trying for a fakey Goth look - just blends right into my pale pale skin tone and...well, porcelain perfection! Can't wait for the rich liquid to become available in the lightest shade so I can try that as well. Using this in tandem with MUFE HD Primer in the blue is making me consider never using any other foundation, but I am a certified beauty addict, so we'll see... ;)

my HG foundation is the liquid version of this because of the full coverage, before i found it, i tried this one.. amazing texture-as i love cream foundations- , great lasting power, non ddrying effect.. however the coverage is rather medium.. that gives you a natural but not too doll-like face.. even though i use the rich liquid on a daily basis i keep this one in my bag just for touch ups.. did not happen too often so far:)) easy to work with, and an other perfect thing from the brand
