Quick Take: full coverage
I have a few sun spots that require heavy coverage. I love this concealer because it completely covers those spots, is opaque, and lasts. This is easy to blend in over my foundation and doesn't look cakey. I really really like this concealer. I'm afraid that Sephora is going to stop carrying this line, so I might have to stock up!

Quick Take: non-drying, full coverage
I've found that makeup from this line can be hit or miss. This is a definite HIT! I have some dark spots that are very difficult to conceal. I have trouble finding concealers that are truly "full coverage." This concealer does the job, and does it well. I use a concealer brush (MAC) and lightly dab over the spots until it's completely concealed. It blends into my foundation easily and (another plus) it lasts! I am going to stock up because I'm afraid of running out.

I almost didn't buy this concealer based on the reviews. I love Illamasqua's products, but I won't use anything I don't like, even by Illamasqua. But I love this concealer!

This comes in a close second out of my many concealers. It is a great fulll coverage undereye concealer. It is also long lasting without a cakey feeling.

Not enough coverage

first i was shocked when i opened this because it had yellow oil hardened on top of the concealer. second, it didn't have full coverage like my previous Shu Uemura proconcealer. Also I bought this online, but since it has so many shades, it was very hard to guess which one I was supposed to get. It's smooth and applies well, but I would not buy this product again.

this concealer was extremely oily when i opened it. then once i tried applying it to my skin..i must say..it was extremely difficult for me to blend. the shade seemed darker than my skin tone once applied. i hated this concealer so much that i brought it back to sephora the next morning.

I had high expectations of this concealer. I have very fair skin and ordered the second to the lightest shade. The texture was so different from my foundation and it pushed my foundation away and left greasy smudges in the areas I was attempting to blend. I tried putting the concealer on first and I wound up with the same results. No amount of powder could correct it.
This may work for those who only want a touch of cover-up and are not using a regular foundation (bare skin or tinted moisturizer) but it surely did not work for me

Quick Take: full coverage, greasy, heavy, oily
I'm giving this 2 stars since shade 115 really IS neutral. It's hard to find a true neutral shade that doesn't pull pink or yellow, for me at least. The actual product was very greasy and oily. When I first opened the package, there were little bubbles of orange grease on the surface of the concealer and, having combo/oily skin, that scared me. I still tried it out on my face and found it to be smooth on the finger, but rather spotty and chunky on the face. The coverage was great- but if you have dry patches or any sort of texture to your skin, this will magnify it. Too bad, because I love Illamasqua.

This product goes on smooth and it lasts. I use it under my eyes and anywhere I have a little redness or a blemish. I've tried a lot of concealers and this one leads the pack.

I can see where others might not like this concealer, but I have to say it's working very well for me. It *is* very dry and thick, and at first I wasn't so sure about it. I got the lightest shade, and that was really what sold me, I find it impossible to find shades pale enough for me in concealers/foundations.
To make this work I moisturize first (Dior ProYouth Comfort Day Creme), then pat my finger into the cake and dot it onto my face (around the nose, lip area, under eyes etc. I don't need very much, as I don't have blemishes usually. ) it is very full coverage so a little goes a long way for me. It melts in and looks just like my skin, without looking heavy at all. I don't need any foundation after this, just a quick sweep of face powder and my skin is flawless for the entire day.
If you have dry skin like I do, moisturizer is a MUST with this concealer, otherwise it looks really bad. In short, if you know what you're doing, this stuff works. I wouldn't recommend it for makeup beginners.

This MIGHT be great concealer - if you can get it out of the compact. It's so dry and so thick that it's almost impossible to get it onto a finger or brush at all, then it looks terrible once you get it onto your face.
I had super high hopes for this product, but it went straight back to the store.

This is a good concealer for under eyes. if you have dry skin it might feel dry. I sometimes use it soon after using moisturizer for less pull. I also purchased Benefit Erase Paste thinking i'd return one but kept both as they work in different ways.

illamasqua had not et me down until i purchased their concealer. the coverage is OK not that great and i found it super hard to blend. it was very stiff. there are better ones out there and well if you have the illamasqua foundation it pointless to get the concealer the foundation covers amazingly on its on.

Quick Take: full coverage, lightweight
This product is a fantastic concealer! It's pretty light in the container and once it's on the skin, it continues to be illuminating so it seems most comparable to Laura Mercier's secret concealer. I'd most recommend this for under eye use b/c of the illuminating properties. I will admit it's a tad drier than the Laura Mercier concealer, which means that an eye cream is a must when using, but it still blends well. It works best when patted over the area you're trying to conceal and then feathered out over the rest of the eye area. The only way it could get cakey is if too much is applied too quickly.
