Great color!
-02.17.13
The eye shadow itself is good, but too pricey. I've experienced some creasing and fading. The reason I gave the product 4 stars is because the color Forgiveness (matte plum brown) is unlike anything I've seen before. I was looking for a plum that wasn't TOO purple to bring out the green in my hazel eyes, and this color delivers.

Amazing matte eyeshadow
-01.10.13
Quick Take: blends easily, crease resistant
Feline is a perfect, moody matte grey eyeshadow by Illamasqua. I ordered it and I now regret not ordering many more for it has been (seemingly) discontinued! This eyeshadow requires a primer but settles beautifully despite a little fallout. Amazing for blending or wearing on its own.

Somewhat disappointing.
-12.17.12
Quick Take: requires layering for bright color, overpriced, best when used with primer or base, overhyped
I ordered two Illamasqua powder eye shadows after months of lusting after them. They are high quality, and work fantastic with a primer and base. The colors are also somewhat difficult to find as far as high-end makeup. However, they're not difficult to find at all in the indie makeup community, where I could have purchased twenty sample baggies or 3-6 full size shadows for the same price, depending on the brand.

Quick Take: illamasqua eyeshadow
I have been using this eyeshadow for many years now and still find it incomparable. It applies so smoothly and holds its color all day. And if you are looking for a brown shadow, this is it!!

"feline"
-11.13.12
Quick Take: smooth texture, good pigmentation
This is a nice light gray matte shade which I bought to use as a liner on my lower lashline. It is working out perfectly, and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Great!

I bought the colors vapour, burst, & inception. All of them had great color payoff over the Urban Decay Primer Potion. I don't wear eyeshadow without primer.

Lovely matte eyeshadows
-07.07.12
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, crease resistant
Alright, I have to admit that I'm a huge Illamasqua fan. Their are eyeshadows are generally matte, smooth, and apply like butter. I currently own Heroine, Stealth, Lestat, Jules, and Vision. Heroine is the perfect shading color for fair skin. I only wish Sephora carried more of the colors. Just a warning though; the eyeshadows do have a faint vanilla scent. If you are sensitive to smell, it might bother you.

Wears Nicely

This was the only eyeshadow I could find in the whole store that was a medium pink color without sparkles. It wears very well.

Fantasy shadow
-07.04.12
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, exotic, unique
I just bought Dizzy and Bronx. I'm obsessed. I like Dizzy as a crease color - it's the perfect healthy flush on my cool, fair skin. Bronx is gorgeous and rich - almost Egyptian-looking - and it's the PERFECT contrast for my blue-green eyes. It looks absolutely exotic.
All the shades are silky, easily picked up on brushes or fingers and blend into one another with almost no effort. I didn't experience any creasing with all-day wear. This is what's great about them - when you combine unique colors with great texture, the result is that it's easy to add a touch of fantasy to a wearable, everyday look.
Sephora, please consider carrying more of the color range! Illamasqua has a BEAUTIFUL bright red on their site called Daemon and I may just have to order it from them directly.
Try these! You'll love them.

Great shadows
-06.06.12
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, crease resistant
these are very similiar to MUFE and as pigmented. I have Dizzy and Can Can (lid) and Forgiveness (crease). These are great colors for green eyes, especially Can Can. There is no compariison between these and M-C. They have similiar colors but the formulation makes you dig for pigment practically. One swipe with these is enough, then you just work it where you want to.

Older? Go Bolder! 'Tis the Season
-05.26.12
Quick Take: sexy, seductive
Burst is Illamasqua's new teal, and who doesn't crave amplified hues in spring-summer when the world seems so bright with possibility? The British company's darker teal seems to have been retired and the name forgotten by Sephora store and Web-site employees, which is a shame as I enjoyed flirting with it despite a well-founded fear that it would sink my deep-set eyes. It would have been nice, I thought, to blend Burst into the original at the outer corners of my upper lids.
Deprivation can spur creativity, so here's a possible solution: Tuck into some M.A.C. Nautical Navy, which has a blackened base, and Feeling Fresh from the same new, limited-edition Hey, Sailor! collection (both shadows skip and are best used to adjust or alter colors that apply smoothly and adhere well), and blend these into Illamasqua's Burst. A light aquamarine color in the inner corners works effectively as it does below the brow if you want something more subtle than Illamasqua's white, the name of which cannot be included in this review as Sephora's filter rejects it as profane. After lining with teal pencil, liquid, kohl powder, or moistened shadow, line upper and lower lids with the Blue Stripe kohl pencil from M.A.C.'s Hey, Sailor!
Illamasqua colors are vivid and intense, which is why I like them, but I'm not convinced that this translates into longer staying power even if/when you use a base. Nevertheless, smooth, rich, and compelling colors can be irresistible, and Illamasqua does these brilliantly. Most of the shadows are far more appropriate for an afternoon at a resort or evening at a bistro rather than a day at the office. They are dramatic and edgy. Think burlesque, not business; rockabilly rather than refined.
If you don't appreciate pitchwomen who smoke, just to evoke historical scenes (say a Berlin cabaret c. 1919-1933), protest Illamasqua's Web-site video advertising campaign by not buying the cosmetics. Pity....
Or chalk this up to more shock value, and indulge.

Fiasco Is a Hit!
-05.25.12
Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, crease resistant, sexy, seductive
Fiasco is Illamasqua's new teal with an unfortunate name. This is no flop or fizzle. Of course, Illamasqua, a British company, has its roots in avant-garde theater and likes to shock. Still, "Fiasco"?
The older, darker teal seems to have been retired, which is a shame as I enjoyed flirting with it, and it would be nice to blend Fiasco into the original at the outer corners of the upper lids. One day, it just wasn't available any more--at least in the U.S. Not on the Sephora Web site or store shelves.
Illamasqua colors are vivid and intense, which is why I like them, but I'm not convinced that this translates into longer staying power even if/when you use an eye base. Still, smooth, rich, and compelling colors can be irresistible, and Illamasqua does these well--even better than Make Up For Ever. All the shadows are far more appropriate for an afternoon at a resort or evening at a bistro rather than a day at the office. They are dramatic and edgy. Jules is too red
-04.26.12
Quick Take: highly pigmented
I got Jules and Heroine...Jules is a red brown which I hate and Heroine is no longer available on the Ellis Faas website, so is propably discontinued there. This goes on very dark...too dark for my taste.
