I got peek, I have black brown hair and it looks natural. It brightens my face. I don't need to put wax first hen shadow. This is all in one. And it last a long time. Very pleased.

I adore this product, I have been using Gaze for over a year and have barely made a dent into it. Since I went just a touch darker, I have black hair but decided to go blue black, I picked up Vehement to play up my brows more so and it is fantastic not too heavy a black used dry and I can build it up wet when I want to be very dramatic, with and without being sealed I find Illamasqua's eye brow cake to be the best at holding up in humidity and rubbing. Again, I really like how natural a black Vehement is, this is my holy grail shade, very easy to control how heavily it applies and the build up to dramatic as I said. I couldn't be more thrilled.

Quick Take: long lasting, natural, really good
I have been using this now for several weeks. I bought it to replace my MAC eyebrow pencil - which I was tired of ordering, because the lead (or makeup) ran out so very fast. Well, this makeup does not look as if it's going anywhere fast, it just lasts and lasts. Further, it covers all of the blank spots in my eyebrows that have occurred either through the aging process, or more probably, from over tweezing. It gives me the most natural eyebrow look, it's not too dark, it actually matches my eyebrows nearly perfectly - my eyebrows are very very dark, with a few grays and this fills in the blanks very naturally - as I said - not too dark, which would have made me look like Zachary Quinto! I'm very pleased with this product.

Motto is too dark for me

I got Motto, and it is too dark for my eyebrows. I'm Asian, but have light eyebrows, and I'm used to wearing brown... but this wears almost black! I barely dipped my brush with a bit of water, and it was pretty much black. Without water, it's almost dark grayish. Not recommended for people who want to go for a lighter look. However, I LOVE how it goes on, and this would save a lot of money because a little would go a long way.

I bought this in Motto, and I finally have found an eyebrow powder that works to define and color my prematurely white eyebrows! Others I had tried tended to look pinkish, but this one stays true to color and looks so natural.

I was excited to use this product instead of filling in with a pencil. I have light golden blonde hair and medium skintone. I chose the motto color based on reviews from other women with blonde hair. Big mistake for me. My brows looked too dark and clownish. Reminded me of Madonna back in the 80's. So disappointed in the color, but not the product. The product in whole is very nice and will last a long time so it's a good value for the money.

i have naturally sparse brows, and this stuff is my savior. i have neutral medium-brown hair and i use motto. my brows are fairly dark, but because they are so sparse, using anything darker than motto looks unnatural. motto is the only color i've ever found that is neutral enough to actually look real. in the compact, it looks like a greenish-gray color, but don't let that throw you off. once it's on, it's a very neutral, natural-looking taupe.

I received this eyebrow powder for Christmas (in my stocking, no less) after having it on my wish list. I had never used this brand before but my daughter knew that I was running out of my Laura Mercier brow powder and since the product was discontinued, I decided to place this product on my list. I am so glad that I got it. It's consistency is perfect. The color was appropriate for my eyebrow color. It goes on easily and covers the gray hairs along with my dark brown colored brows. I use my Sephora eyebrow brush to apply the powder. It lasts all day! Highly recommend it.

I am a blonde and have almost non-existent brows. I have used many different eyebrow pencils and powders and this one is my favorite. I bought Moto, it is darker than I am used to, but perfect. My previous favorite was Anastasia Brow Wiz in Ash Blonde, but I like this better! Great new find!

I hesitated to try this on. It looks very flat and dark in the compact. When I tried it, the reviews were right on. The Motto is good for blondes. It is devoid of red pigments or gold tones that can make eyebrows look reddish. Use sparingly with an angled eyebrow brush. This is the best color so far. I purchased the Smashbox in light brown and this is better.I did add a teensie amount of water to fill in a sparse spot in my brow and it does work also.

I absolutely love this eye brow product! I naturally have thicker/coarser brows because I am persian so until recently I never really had to use anything besides a bit of clear gel. Unfortunately a botched eyebrow waxing a few years ago left me so self concious that I figured I would try something in the meantime (though they have never been the same since..). I have used pencils, shadows and colored gels and they all leave me looking like a clown. While shopping for gifts last year I stumbled upon this product and I couldn't be happier. First off, the formula is a cake powder, but far from an eyeshadow. It is richly pigmented but has a soft blendable quality that is very natural. I love that I can use it wet and dry with my angle brush. The wet function works great if you need to extend the brow a bit farther. All in all, I don't think I will ever switch.. and I have been on the same compact of it for 13 months! Can't beat it!

I dye my hair many colors, but the base color is usually black. I found the color selection to be just what I needed. This is an excellent brow cake product- I imagine it will last me an extremely long time because you do get quite a large amount of product in the case.

It would be great, BUT the lightest shade is Motto, and it is still way to dark! I have Champagne blonde hair, and while it didn't have the awful red tone we blondes hate, it was still way to dark!

My eyebrows are scarce since they never fully grew back after undergoing chemo for breast cancer. I wanted a natural looking brow and this is the perfect answer! I'd recommend buying a good brow brush (it doesn't come with one unfortunately). This powder is long wearing as well...even during intense workouts at the gym. Love this product!

Name a brand of eyebrow powder and I have probably tried it. This one is by far, the best. It looks more natural than any I have used and the color is perfect. I have very sparse eyebrows and no tails due to thyroid, so I have to basically, start from scratch and this powder along with pencil does a great job.

I love this product! It is so hard to find a true black eyebrow product. Vehement is a great color for anyone who needs/wants nice black brows! I put this on with just water on my brow brush and it stays great without anything on top. Definitely worth a try! I use it every day!
