Quick Take: pigmented
Illamasqua has amazing color, unfortunately it is too dry for me/my lips.
When I put it on the you can see all the cracks in your lips / dry skin etc. I do not have "dry" lips so this was unexpected!

Quick Take: hard to apply
I bought the color Underworld and could not even get it on my lips no matter how hard I applied! At one point I used my nail to scrape the color but not much better. Ended up returning but very upset as it is a beautiful and unusual color which I have not been able to replace!

Beautiful, vibrant color (I have box). Nice red that isn't too orange like some of them out there. However, you need to wear primer with it, because it likes to move all over the place.

Quick Take: long wearing
So ok, this is def just like straight color and its almost chalky. However, it's exactly what I wanted and I love it! I got the color Immodest which is like super bright hot pink. I recommend exfoliating your lips before applying because it is so dry and thick. And then I layer with Buxom bubblegum hot pink for the shine. Amazing combo and I wear it every day!

I saw the advertisements of just lips with different lipstick shades and asked one of the representatives to find me a lipstick that matched the coral/orange hue. She chose "brink" which was dead on. This is my first time trying Illasmasque. She showed me how to apply if I wanted a light tint by dabbing my fingers or simply gliding it on for a bright bold hue. I would suggest just dabbing it with you fingers like Chapstick as it may come off as heavy otherwise. I love the color! This brand stays on so well! My friends were all complimenting me when I wore it! Highly recommend it!

This color is so gorgeous.. It is hard to pull off so I would try it in stores to see if it goes well with your skin tone or not. I'm very glad it matches mine and this makes me want to try more illamasqua lipsticks!!! Very long lasting

Quick Take: long wearing
I just bought this listick in "Flare." The color is amazingly orange (looks great mixed with hot pink lisptick, too!). Put on thick enough --it's almost dayglo. Very mod.
It's also super pigmented and longlasting (it's a little dry, but, unchapped lips will be fine). I will buy more colors.

I got the lipstick in Flare (Bold Orange) the color was amazing. That's the end of my good review, it didn't glide on by any means. They put in enough mositure to hold the pigment together…that's all.

This is the best lipstick I have ever tried, I bought color BOX, I was looking for a fancy red color for my skin tone and this was the best, best pigmentation and it lasted all night long. didn`t have to do touch-ups... went to a party drank and it stayed put all night long!!!!

This is an unusual lipstick. At first, I thought it was too dry... until I realized the genius of this. I'm the person who just has to look at a glass of water and my lipstick is gone gone gone. This one stays and stays and stays. Also, no crawling into the lines around one's mouth. It wears evenly, as well. I have it in three colours, Underworld, Atomic and Maneater. I get compliments whenever I wear them. I wouldn't recommend this lipstick for people with perpetually dry lips, however. The gloss is pretty awesome and colour-rich, so maybe that would be a better option :-)

This color and lipstick was AMAZING when I saw it in the store.....I HAD TO HAVE IT!! Too bad though. ...I purchased this lipstick only to get home to wear it and it had already been worn. This lipstick that I purchased was either a customer's return or a tester. I couldn't believe (or should I say...I DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE...this store resell used returns?!). I was very disappointed with purchasing a tube of lipstick which was half way finished. Uuuuggghhhh smh.

I'm a huge fan of Illamasqua. Their lipsticks have never disappointed me, until now. Immodest is a gorgeous shade of bubble gum pink in the tube. The color is true once applied to lips but the formula is terribly dry! I've *never* applied a lipstick with such difficulty. Lip balm first is essential with this shade but you may still find its dry formulation difficult to love. If I had kept the box, I would've returned this lipstick. I'm giving it a 1 star review because I adore the color...but not much else. :-(

Bought this when I bought the blush and really wanted to love it. The color is the perfect peach shade that I've wanted for my skintone, therefore the relationship has potential. Then I went to put it on...ugh. Like the bad kiss at the end of a good date. It is kind of a matte, but not, and it made my lips look really ashy and crusty. Still loving the color, I tried lip primers, glosses, liners, EVERYTHING to make this shade work. And just like the guy with all the so many things you like but minus the attraction, I had to face that I couldn't make this work. Sadly, I will be returning it. I hope Illamasqua and I can still be friends LOL!!!

Quick Take: dry, pigmented, great color
I purchased Magnetism, and while I do love the color, I agree that the formula is very dry and cakey. This is the only lipstick I use that ends up creasing, so I always have to reapply and use tons of chapstick with it. The color is beautiful and pigmented; I just wish that it wore better.

Quick Take: long wearing, creamy
Pretty good lipstick. I got this for going out, and only worn it a couple times. Definitely intense color, definitely long lasting, definitely great! I'm considering getting it in a slightly less intense color to wear on a date or just going out with the girls. Would recommend. Compared to other long-lasting lipsticks, it is relatively moisturizing, but be prepared to slather on the chapstick the next day.
