Great color payoff

I have the metallic gold color and use it to highlight the corners of my eyes often. It has great color payoff. Very bold. It's creamy and goes on easily with just the tip of my finger. I'd like to own a few more of the colors. These are versatile and you get quite a bit of product for the money. I would buy again.

wish there were a "no star" option...this stuff is nothing but a melted crayon, it goes on sheer, no great pigment, it creases instantly and melts off, I threw the product away...it is the worst makeup product I've ever used...I'm so surprised for such a good cult following brand. They really need to try again on this one. If it had pigment and staying power, it would be fantastic, but no.

I bought this product in Stoic, I literally stopped in my tracks when I saw the color in store, and all I could think was "I MUST OWN THIS" so I ordered it off the Illamasqua website (Sephora doesn’t sell this color by its self) I was so excited... then I tried it on... it took a ton of product just to get an even streak free color, that creased RIGHT AWAY, I’ve used NARS pro-prime and a heavier creamer primer and nothing could stop the creasing. I am very disappointed and will not buy anymore products from this line. It really is a shame because the color (in the pot) is amazing.

The liquid metal line has some of the most unique and beautiful colors. I tried a few and loved how they applied and how they look ed on my eyes... for the first five minutes. Then it creases like the dollar eyeshadows I bought in the 1980's.
I tried using primer under and then dusting with MUFE high def powder over the Liquid Metal. This helped, but only marginally. But the powder also took away the true color of the Liquid Metal.
This is an issue I have with many Illamasqua products.The colors are to die for; the concepts are unique; but the staying power muscle is awful. They really need to pay attention to this.

I purchased this in "solstice" and too bad it's such a beautiful color on me (I'm African American) BUT the first time I had it on only 2 hours and I lookre,ed in the mirror, I was home Thank God, and it looked awful! It creasd a lot! So I took all of my eye makeup off and put on a primer (which made the color pop more....) but once again the product creased in less then two hours. I am sending it back for a refund. Not worth $26!!

So yes, I too am guilty of not getting the full lowdown on this creamy sheer glitter thing before buying it, but I mean when I'm in store all I'm thinking is "Look at this pretty pretty metallic shadow!" not "I should really read all of the literature concerning this product on the packaging and on the internet before I make this very important purchase."
Basically I thought I was buying a beautiful metallic shadow based on the swatch in the store and instead got a sheer silverish glitter. It's still very pretty, but definitely not a shadow.
The description here does say "Adorn your body" but to be fair the packaging in store says "Adorn your eyes face and body..."
Also it's called a "liquid metal" not "body shimmer", so I don't blame anyone else for thinking they were getting something different than what they got. I returned mine.

I tried all 3 shades - Enrapture, Solstice, and Surge. This cream is not easy to apply or blend. It is not subtle or flattering. If you want that shiny, obvious, "here I am" look, then this is it. And none of the shades worked with my skin tone (light to light tan with yellow tones).

I bought the surge and phenomenon and really loved the colors. They are very refective and flattering. However, as seems to be the case for many people, it found it to lack any staying power. I've read reviews blaming the individual buyer for using the product improperly. It does state that it is a highlighting cream that creates a luminous glow on the BODY. So ok, maybe this is for places that don't need to be smudge-proof; but if I'm gonna put something on me, it needs to be WAY better at not smudging everywhere. Hence the 3 stars.

I bought this because it looked and felt so beautiful and I wanted to treat myself to something special. Sadly I will be exchanging this because it creases and ends up all over your face. Illamasqua needs to tweak their formula.

I bought this product entirely on a whim. I was on vacation in NYC and felt like adding something different to my professional kit. After purchasing I went back to the hotel to try it out on myself and decided it is for my personal collection. I am 31 and I don't go too heavy on the shimmer factor for myself, but this is like super super fine glittery magic that blends so well with the skin. I feel like it makes my skin look more hydrated than when I wear powder shadow- and it makes a great base. I feel like this is a product that you can use a million different ways. I want every color!

This is a very nice shadow. I saw it online originally but was unsure because it said it was a liquid like shadow--which I don't care for. The shadow has a creamy texture to the touch but when applied it turns into more of a powder shadow ;not crumbly though, it glides on very smoothly. The price is a little high, however, it is a decent sized container that will last a fair amount of time. I purchased the silver one entitled Phenomenon and It blends very nicely. The bronze color was beautiful as well but I am very fair skinned so that color wasn't as flattering. Anyhow, I would recommend this product to anyone who it looking for a nice illuminating/eye defining color.

NOWHERE does it say it is an eyeshadow. So all of you giving negative reviews because you used it as an eyeshadow, that's on you. You used the product for the wrong purpose. Used as it SUGGESTS, this product works great! Please read and pay attention!

While this is a fun to use, cool looking product, its actual quality is not the best. It slides off quite easily, but it is easy to put on and blends well. Overall, this makeup is probably best for photo shoots, and should be kept in the studio.

I love that this product is so creamy, it goes on really smooth and I love the colour (I have the purple one). The reason I gave it 4 stars is that it doesn't last as long as I would hope...but I am used to shadows (not cream)

This goes on beautifully. Unfortunately it doesn't stay on. I've tried every kind of primer, but it's smudged and off with in 20 minutes:((( Really is a HUGE disappointment! However it is great for photo shoots, where you can constantly reapply it. Just terrible for the real world!

not too keen on this one. The color is beautiful but it doesn't go on very smoothly. Lots of fall. Am considering returning.... but have found that applying with finger instead of brush works best.
